The things one needs trekking in Ireland
Roll-up shopping totes, a cross-body Tumi bag and a pair of dubarrys. We were in Ireland 10 days and I wore my dubarrys 8 out of the 10 days. My foot is long and narrow but a pair of thick socks did the trick. We walked and walked and then walked some more. My feet were tired but no more so than when I wore tennis shoes. Plus, the dubarrys were warmer.
They are a lot of money but as ferris bueller said " if you have the means...."

Love these!!!
I got a pair for christmas and let's just say I'll never be buying the Dublin version again. These boots are beautiful and hold up really well. They are a sinch to clean and last a very long time with proper care. I wear them for at least 5 hrs a day and my feet never hurt, never overheat, and never get wet. These boots are very much worth their weight in gold!!!

How do I love thee.....
Let me count the ways....I LOVE these boots. I waited and waited and finally convinced myself I deserved a pair. These are the best boots ever....great quality - great fit - great comfort - great style. I hate to take them off at the end of the day. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on....seem to run very true to size. I have not worn them to the barn yet in all this mud, but maybe one day.....I just hate to get them dirty! So glad I broke down and bought them...expensive, but worth it!

Love, love, love these boots!
After having frostbite on my toes twice last winter my boyfriend purchased these boots for me. My feet have never been so warm and dry! I love that I can wear them at the barn all day, while walking the dog, or out to dinner and be comfortable and stylish!

These boots are the cat's meow
I'm a college student in Michigan, and I love strutting my stuff in these boots. They're extremely comfortable, and I get loads of compliments on them. I have been wearing them all winter long, and they've been holding up great for me. Wearing them on campus when it rains or snows is fun, because while other girls are dodging puddles left and right trying not to get their UGGs or leather boots wet, I'm splashing right through them without a care in the world. My only complaint is that when they really started to break in, the right boot rubs on the back of my ankle a bit, so I have to wear tall socks with them. As college student with a small budget, took me about a year and a half to finally decide to save up and fork over the cash for these boots, but it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I absolutely love them.

Dubarry Galway Boots
I love these boots. Had a problem with figuring out what size and Smart Pak was helpful with returning and exchaning them. You can see the quality just looking at the boots. They were recommended to me by a friend who has had them for about 7years and they still look great. You cant ask for a better product and quality when it comes to the Galway Boots. I know it's a steep buy but you get what you pay for and these boots are worth every penny.

Beautiful Boot!
These are not only extremely sturdy and durable but they are also incredibly beautiful. You can dress them down or up. I've tested them out in the snow and rain and they work great in all types of weather and conditions.
All my friends and colleagues love them. I highly recommend them!!!

Worth every penny

Worth the wait.
Great boots, had a little problem finding the right size but the staff was excellent in helping me, great company. The boots are comfy and so far have held up to the snow and muck. I've wanted these boots for a few years now and finally just decided to invest and I'm very glad I did.

love, love, love!
These boots are like everyone else says and totally worth it. I get complements on them every time I wear them. I used them for riding and my feet stayed nice and warm at 40 degrees for hours on end. I also purchased the liners for added warmth on really cold days. I've recently taken up English riding, so I needed some winter boots that would go well with layers and still allow for feeling. The western discipline should take some notes, these are great!

Love these boots
So glad I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase these! Love them. The sizing is a bit difficult because the correct size boots for my actual foot were REALLY difficult to get on, so I ended up getting a size that was one bigger than my foot really needed but were much easier to get on (I have a tiny foot though, so that may have caused the issue). And by the way, SmartPak has the BEST customer service!!

Worth every penny
I had been avoiding purchasing these boots because of the price. However, after a very wet weekend of volunteering at a horse trial in my rubber wellies with their signature splits up the back (very common occurrence among horse people!), I caved. My only regret is not purchasing these SOONER! I have only had these boots 4 months, but living in Maine means they have already been through all kinds of weather.
Bottom line is: these boots stand up to the elements. I love knowing I can stomp out the ice in my horses' water trough and not worry about my feet getting wet. And then I can walk across the ice with no concerns because of the great tread! These boots are comfortable when it's hot and humid out, yet warm and cozy when it's below freezing. I've worn these boots for hours on end while on my feet at the barn and my feet didn't ache one bit. In addition to all these wonderfully practical benefits, I also receive TONS of compliments on these boots! They are beautiful and everyone I meet--horse and non-horse people alike--adores them.
SmartPak's "100% Happiness Guarantee" made me feel safe spending this amount on boots. I bought the cleaner and protective spray to prolong their life, but I love knowing that SmartPak is there to back up their product in case I experience issues :)

Perfect
I bought these boots to trudge back and forth from the house to the barn in the tall grass and mud. They are perfect. Have worn them with jeans, britches, pj's, etc. Feet and legs are dry and warm. I wear them to the store also. Fit was snug, but I think I am a snug size.

Best boots ever
So, we all know these boots are insanely expensive and for many people the price is prohibitive. However, after replacing my supposedly waterproof barn boots each year, I figured it was time to take the plunge and go for the real deal. Best decision I ever made. Instead of coughing up that $100 or so dollars year after year, I made the investment. I have had these since 2007 and I ADORE them. They are my absolute favorite pair of boots. I wear them to the barn, I wear them in the wet Seattle winters, and I wear them for everything else that involves any sort of water coming in contact with my feet. They are as waterproof now as the day I purchased them and I am not easy on my footwear. Many of my barn friends scoffed when they saw them, telling me what a ridiculous way to spend my money. However, one stomping session in the wet, muddy paddock and I was the one snickering with completely DRY feet. So, save your pennies and go for it. I really believe it will be the best boot purchase you will ever make.

Less than Expected
I'm 5"9" and with thin calves. As another reviewer already pointed out, the calf on this boot is large, so I wasn't too surprised. The foot bed is also quite flat and I was told could be removed and an orthotic like "superfeet" substituted. This is not the case. The foot bed is glued down and has to be ripped out. The boot is too narrow and tight to place a second foot support on top of the original one. I found the boots uncomfortable and over priced for what they were since it is also not practical to do more than a light hack in them either. I recommend checking out: Dublin Pinnacle boots at about 1/3 the cost. Returned the boots the same day!

Best boots ever
After spending a day at a horse show with soggy sopping wet feet because water soaked through my boots on my walkthrough of the XC course, I was determined to somehow get me some Dubarry Galway boots. I was fortunate to get these as a birthday gift and I was thrilled. I fearlessly stomp in mud and splash through water because these boots just hose right off and still look excellent. Every now and then I'll wipe the lower foot with glycerine soap and they're back to shinning like new. These boots are champions and look so fashionable while being extremely functional. These boots rarely leave my feet. I begrudgingly take them off for bed time.

Love, Love Love, my Dubarry Boots!
I have had my boots for three years and I still love them as much as the day I bought them.
last winter I purchased the winter liners and used them throughout the cold winter days in Northern Ontario.
I highly recommend them as well as the leather care products which helps prolong the life of my boots.

I ADORE my Dubarrys
My husband surprised me with a pair of these boots at Rolex this year and I wore them every day we were there, which was perfect because it rained a couple times. I hiked all over the XC course and around the Kentucky Horse Park for 3 days and they were amazing. So comfortable! I wear them daily and absolutely love them. They're a great investment!!

Love my Dubarry's!
I finally got these for my birthday. I was worried they would hurt my feet for a while until broke in. Put them on and they were perfect!, no sore feet ;-)
They are great and stylish, I got them in black and I love them!
If you are on the fence, don't be! Buy them.....great boot, expensive but worth every penny!!!

Not for "Normal" Calves
I am 5'9 145 lbs average build size 9 foot (UK 6.5), these boots run true to size in the foot, but they are are HUGE in the calf. I can put my whole arm down the leg when I am wearing them . So unless you have calves the size of a WWF wrestler you will have to pad up the calves for the boots to stay up.

Amazing boots!
These boots are amazing! They can go from the barn to dinner. Everytime I wear mine I get so many complements and people are always wanting to know where I got them. My boots broke in very quickly and were so comfortable at Rolex this year- no blisters and no sore feet!

I LOVE these boots
I have been eyeing these boots for quite a long time and didn't want to fork over the $$ for them, but I am so happy that I finally did. These boots are so comfortable and cool enough to wear during this Texas heat. I readily get out of my riding boots to put these on! I can't wait for the winter time and for fall horse trials to walk courses in them!!

Good boots
I recieved my boots and when I took them out of hte box they were very stiff. I was nervous but once I wore them once they softenned up immediately. I love the look and color (all brown). I also have recieved many compliments on them. I have thin calves and they fit my calves perfectly. I use them all around the barn and to ride. It is nice to have one boot in which you can do everything in. What i love most about the boots are they they keep your feet dry. When I hose my horses down my feet are always dry, and the water never comes from the top of the boot.
