i have had my dubarry boots for almost three years...i wear them every day...to the dog park, to the barn, shoveling snow, etc. they are the best. they keep my feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter. they are getting a bit worn out but for as much as i wear them they have really hung in there...next time smartpak has a 20% off coupon code a new pair is in my future!

Great product
I bought thesef for my wife, and sheloves them. They were a little snug at first, but they sem to be stretching out. She wears them for dog training, and also to go out at night. Very versatile, and well made. Expensive, but they should last a long time.

Great Boots so Far!
They are so pretty that it took me a couple weeks to be brave enough to wear them to the barn. Haven't looked back since! I'm in Memphis so we don't get a lot of snow, but we get a lot of wet and mud! These boots are perfect for that. One day is was sleeting and I went to the barn on my lunch break to put blankets on; threw these boots on over my trousers (without socks) and the rest of me was frigid and wet except where my boots were! The goretex is amazing! I am nervous that they aren't going to last based on other reviews, but so far so good!!

Didn't last
I bought these boots less than 9 months ago. They have 4 holes in them on the seam and in the foot. I loved them at first but they did not last long. I was told they would last me life time but they did not even last me a year. I cleaned them properly when I wore them like I clean all my other leather footwear. I am very unhappy because I spent so much money on boots that leave my feet wet whenever i wear them in snow or rain.

Expensive but high quality
I bought these boots for my wife, she loves them. They fit her well, keep her feet warm, and provide some 'status' (at least to people who know this type of boots).
Are they better than an equivalent product from someone else? I don't know, we only have these.
We have definitely no complaint about the quality of these boots, they fit well and look nice. But they are very expensive, compared to a comparable product - and no discounted sales.

Dubarry Boots
I love these boots. My only regret is that I didn't get two pair so I could keep one for dressup and one for the barn. I wore them the second day I got them on a 15 hour day travelling and never got sore feet! Wore them the next for 18 hours and they were comfy again. They are like slippers. The calf fit is generous and they look great. Well worth the money and like Icelandic horses and salt/vinegar chips you really aren't happy with just one.

Real Deal!
These boots are AWESOME! I saw them at WEG and was intrigued, but put off by the price. I finally decided I needed a GOOD pair of winter/all purpose boots and this would make a great Christmas gift to me. :-) They are everything the reviews here say they are--they fit like a glove, no break in required (toured the local Zoo in them for 1 1/2 hrs. 2nd time I wore them and my feet felt great!), and they're stylish. I've received non-stop compliments. It'll be hard to wear them into the barn; maybe in a few months. Time will tell how well they hold up, but they are well made. A good investment!

I have heard about these boots for quite awhile and a few of my friends have purchased the "copies". Now I know why they have so many imitations of these boots because they are fabulous!! A favorite of my Christmas presents! :)

Wonderful boots!
I am very happy with these boots. The quality is excellent and they live up to the claims of soft, weatherproof leather with a true fit. They were comfortable from the very first wear, fitting over a pair of slim jeans. I think they look great, whether in the barn or in town.

Wow!!
These truely are wonderful boots. I have had the luxury of wearing them during a 6-day straight rain and they were wonderful. My feet stayed warm, and dry. I went to a local starbucks right after mucking at the barn and my boots were a mess and I received more than one compliment on my boots. From the get go, they were compfy, I did have a few little sores on the back of my feet from the boots, but they broke in and and were great. Will only wear these from now on.

Great Boots
I have been wearing these boots for about a week now. I live in Wisconsin and these keep my feet pretty warm with the right socks on! The gore-tex lining does help with the warmth and is worth the money. They are very comfy and the leather breaks right in, they are not hard at all. Some reviews said they ran big, I followed the review and ordered a size down. Bad idea, I ended up sending them back for a 38 and they fit perfect. I believe the sizing is right on the money. These are very cute boots and great for casual wear as well as the barn. I do believe these are great quality boots and a great fashion staple as well. The only qualm I had was the price, these are great boots but I don't know if they are worth the $400+! I would have loved them more if they were under $300!

The workmanship of this boot is impeccable; with honest sizing and comfortable fit, one can wear it all day without feet becoming tired or irritated. I would recommend the Dubarry Galway boot for most country or town activities.

Cool Boots!
After wanting these for many years I was so glad to get these boots. Comfy, dry, and fashionable too! I ride and work at a local stable. These boots are a nice change from my paddock and tall boots. Best of all water-proof, very important in south-west Louisiana!

I have worn these a few times (WAY too nice to wear to the barn) and really like them. They were comfortable right off, and like other good leather, I know they will break in and look and feel even better. I like that these are different and that people notice them. Maybe at some point when the newness wears off, I can bring myself to wear them to the barn!

Nothing Else Compares
I can't stop wearing my Dubarrys. I actually wish for cold, rainy weather so that I can wear them to work or to the grocery store. And after my riding lessons, it feels AMAZING to take off my tall boots and slip these on... Like putting on warm, comfy slippers. They are as waterproof as Dubarry says they are, and even better looking in person. I wear them to walk our dogs through the woods, and it's great fun to tromp through mud and deep puddles with no worries of getting wet or harming my boots. I love wearing them around town, too, because outside of the horseworld they are even more unique and look great with a nice pair of jeans when you're out on the town. These boots are expensive, but they are truly an investment for a lifetime. Treat yourself - you won't regret it! I recommend purchasing the Dubarry leather cleaner, conditioner and protect spray so that you can take good care of your boots and make sure they last forever!

Wonderful boots!
These boots arrived a few days before a big snow/ice storm hit my area. I wore them everywhere the next few days, through ice, snow, and finally mud and water when the weather warmed up. They were very comfortable, warm, waterproof, and looked beautiful. I LOVE them and would not hesitate to buy this brand in the future.

I love these boots
I hesitated to buy these despite coveting my friend's pair because they are so expensive. I nearly bought a cheaper imitation pair but am so happy i went with these. I initially was going to purchase directly from the manufacturer, but the shipping was much higher than SmartPak charged. The boots arrived in a couple of days and as it has rained pretty much continuously i haven't taken them off since. Very comfortable, light, and attractive. Completely waterproof. I love them!

Slightly uncomfortable
I was so excited to get these boots, but I returned them because I found the footbed to be uncomfortable. I put sports insoles in them and that really helped, but for the money, I didn't want to have to adapt them. Great styling and quality, but I need more support. At this price I wanted to be able to live in them--all day. I'm sure they would be fine for most people, but they weren't for me. I think the "replacement" insoles shown on the website should be included so the boots have some foot support. As far as I could tell, there was no insole in the boot as sold. Anyway, I'm bummed cuz I really wanted these, so I hope they work for you. I'll be jealous...

I have worn these boots every day since I got them. We have had 24 inches of snow here. My feet are comfortable, warm, dry and stylish. I get lots of compliments. I even wear them to work. They are pricey, but worth it.

Favorite boots
I debated between the Dubarry and other boots of the same style. So glad I chose Dubarry. With muscular calves, it is hard to find a casual tall boot that fits. Though quite snug over my high instep when putting it on the first time, and snug on my calf, with wear, the leather has molded to my leg and fits comfortably with jeans or schooling tights tucked in or with knee socks. A wear patch on the inside calf would make them perfect for the trail. ABSLOUTELY waterproof during this past January thaw. Comfortable enough to wear all day on weekends and the clean up nicely for a trip into the village. You will not regret this purchase.
