Comfortable fit and sturdy construction
I have been stalking a similar pair of Ariat boots and just couldn’t justify the cost. So I found these and took a chance! I will say I was very happy with the customer service and fast shipping. The boots are beautiful! I have small calves and ankles and I have them laced up pretty much as tight as they will go. I’ve worn them to the barn several times. They are sturdy and very comfortable. The zipper doesn’t bother the back of my heel at all! With two pairs of warm socks, I have been fine in the Minnesota cold so far! I will add pics later!

I love boots. I’m a boot addict. I’m also a deal shopper. I must say I LOVE THESE BOOTS!
They are so comfortable. Right out of the box. The craftsmanship and quality appear to be very good. They are really good looking boots. Super cute with jeans. I felt badly wearing them to do chores. Lol. I was waiting for heel rubbing, based on other reviews. I wear a 9-9.5, but my feet swell and sweat a lot. I ordered size 10 and have been wearing 2 pairs of socks with them. They are actually the most comfortable shoe I own right now. Terrific job smartpak!

Haven’t held up to barn life
I really wanted to love these boots but they just aren’t durable enough! I’ve only had them for 3 months and the zipper on one boot is already broken. The insoles ripped after one week of use and they definitely don’t repel water.

I absolutely LOVE these boots!!
I never thought I would be able to pull off the tall boot look because I'm short with somewhat wide calves, but I couldn't resist trying these out after seeing them on my trainer. I'm so glad I did! These boots are beautiful and fit great with the adjustable laces and the easy on/off zipper in back. I've worn them to a couple parties with multiple compliments but have been holding off using them for their intended purpose (i.e., riding) because I don't want to get them dirty just yet ;-) My trainer has a pair and wears them everywhere.

Great, durable boot!
I’ve had these boots for about a month now and they’ve held up pretty nicely so far. The tread is thick so you won’t get stuck in the mud and sloshing through puddles is easy without getting muck all over the toe and sides. Saddle leathers haven’t scuffed the suede on the inner calf, which is also a plus. The only thing is the zipper will chew up your heels a bit until you’ve worn them in - just wear thick socks and you’ll be fine.

You want these boots!
I got my boots a couple of weeks ago and have had them on every day. Great support, easy movement when doing flatwork, no problems with stirrups when riding. Cozy feel, have had numerous compliments. And they are the boots you want when hearing "horses got out"! so easy to jump in to and adjustable for the winter layering. English and western riders will like.

Great price, super cute and a good fit (almost) I have short legs and wider calves it is extremely hard to find boots that fit. These are adjustable with the laces which is so nice! They were perfect... almost... the zipper at the heel/lower calf collapses inward which rubs and is pretty uncomfortable. I didn’t do much besides walk around the house before I realized that was going to be a major issue. It might be because I have wider calves or possibly that they aren’t fitted well enough in the ankle. I’m not sure, but from reading other reviews a couple people had this same issue. Meanwhile, I’m back on the hunt for boots...

I love these boots
I got these boots as a gift 4 months ago. I wear them for daily barn chores and occasionally riding. I love the fit of these boots. I am 5'4 and wear a 6.5 and the 36 fit me fine. I love how these adjust and can go from summer boots- to add a pair of heavier socks loosen the laces and they are fine for colder weather as well. I wore them straight out of the box to the barn- I did make sure I had on two pairs of socks because of course they are riding boots, and they will fall- but I had no issues wearing them the first day. I wear these boots daily- and so far they have lasted great!

Pain to the ankle/heel
Wore these to do barn chores and ride today. The super cute style of these boots in no way makes up for the poor zipper design and drop in leather at the ankles and heel. The back of my ankles are rubbed raw and no matter how I adjusted the laces, the rub continued. Im bummed because they are cute and I wore them around the house without issue but once I rode in them, they trashed me. They are worn and dirty now so I will have to keep them as a closet decoration but would advise you to choose a different boot.

great boots!
I love these boots, have worn them to work and to spectate at a horse show. Very comfortable and stylish, got lots of compliments. I don't plan to ride in them as they are too nice, but the fit is so good with the laces, I certainly could ride in them. Excellent value for the price if they hold up, I have not had them long.

I love the look of these boots! They seem well made and were comfortable right out of the box. The lace up front appealed to me because I have skinny ankles and calves and liked the idea of having more adjustability. Unfortunately, I could not adjust them small enough to fit my calves, almost but not quite! I ended up giving them to my niece. They fit her perfectly and they look awesome!

I wear an 11. Ordered the 42 and could just get it on my foot. Definitely couldn’t wear with socks. I wish it had fit as they look great. SmartPak - make one more size please!!

Comfortable for a good price!
Comfortable and nice to have a pair of boots I can go from barn work to riding. Very warm. They aren’t quite as tall as traditional tall boots, but I have short legs so they hit fine on me. True to size! I’m a size 7 and the 37 are perfect.

Love the boot but ...
I wrote a previous review about how much I loved these boots . The back zipper design, the support and cushion of the boot . However the more I wore the boot around the house the more the leather dug in at the back of my ankles . Sadly I decided to returned the boot . I really loved them .

Love these boots!
I bought these to teach lessons in as I got tired of wearing muck boots or sneakers. These were soft and comfortable right out of the box, and are way cuter than my muddy muck boots. I love the laces as I can adjust the fit based on what I'm wearing (and how many layers). Time will tell if these will hold up but so far, so good!

I ordered the size 42 (US 11) and they flt like a US size 9! I could barely get my foot in them! I'm so sad because they look amazing and seem like good quality. Sent them back.

Pretty good design
I ordered these on back order. While waiting, I ordered the similar Ariats, about twice the price, knowing I would keep one. The Ariats came first. They were nice, fit well, pretty comfortable, and cute. But the top of the boot was a bit large. I set them aside. These boots came. They looked nice, fit well, actually a little more comfortable then the Ariats. They were more flexible. The top was not too large, yay. So I compared, and chose these. The only thing I would change, is to make them an inch or two taller. Pretty minor for over a $200.00 difference.
I have not worn them outside yet, as they are my winter boots, it's still 90 in Paso Robles,Ca.
But I have worn them inside. They are really nice and comfy. I love lace ups. Love the look, also My ankle was shattered, I had 4 surgeries and its huge. So lace ups are a good choice for the variation. Point being, they should work well for a variety of people.
I am 5'3", I wear a 7 1/2, they feel true to size to me.

Great design !
I purchased this boot in a 41 , my shoe size is 101/2 and it fits true to size . The zipper in the back of the boot makes putting these boots on very easy . I have a high arch and love just slipping my foot into the boot. These have great cushion and support . They are very cute and the lace up front helps you adjust the boot to fit your calf for a fitted look ! I just love these boots ! Thanks for the clever design Smart Pak team !

Beautiful boot for ladies well under 5’9”
I love this boot and wish it came in a tall size for long legged ladies! If you’re 5’9” or taller, this boot is probably going to be too short for you.
The boot is very fitted, with it designed to be wider at the calf. For me, the wider part for around the calf actually lies below my calf, so it looks funny. SmartPak, please make this boot in a tall length! It’s an excellent product!

Love these boots!
These boots are very comfortable, broke in on my first ride, and look great! After reading the reviews, one person commented that they were very tall, but I am a short person, and they actually don't come as high as my winter riding boots. These are nice looking boots and they are a decent price for using for daily riding and whatever else you're doing around the barn.

Lots of compliments!
This boot is a great value for the price. I love that you can lace it to fit your leg perfectly. I read the reviews and almost ordered a size smaller, but I’m so glad that I ordered my regular size 8 because I can wear a substantial sock and they fit great! They were comfortable from the first time I wore them. No break in needed. I get compliments when I wear them to town and they look too nice to wear in the mud.Thinking about getting them in the brown!

Love these boots
Lovely and utilitarian all in one. Very nice fit thanks to the full length lacing. Back zipper makes easy on and off. Ordered sized up because of my experience with Dublin boots. No boot with laces is going to be waterproof where the laces start. Only thing I would change is the lack of a zipper guard flap. Just be sure you do not catch your sock or your leg in the zipper. Overall very pleased.. have yet to wear much as it is still hot here in Iowa.

So Painful!!
I really really wanted to like these boots because they’re so cute!! Nice quality, and they fit well... i wore them to the barn exactly twice. Fit great at first but as they started to break in, the zipper bent in toward my ankle and murdered my achilles. the longer I wore them, the worse it got. I took them off when I got home, and I had a pretty bad rub. So I waited a couple days to give my foot a chance to heal, and tried again to see if they’d break in... but it became clear that the more they started to break in, the worse it got!! It was so painful I had to switch to my dress boots for barn work. I had to return these and for some reason didn’t get a full refund. Not happy. Do not recommend.
