My 26 yr old Arabian is now like a teenager again!
I tried so many supplements and medications for my mare's cushions disease and nothing worked. I also was worried about the side effects of synthetic drugs as well. Within 2 weeks of my mare on SmartPituitary Senior Pellets she is a completely changed horse! She has energy, is gaining weight, improved muscle tone, shed her coat and has dapples!!, and her top line is improving. This supplement is amazing, if not a miracle as well.

Senior girl started shedding like crazy
Bought this for my 26 year old girl who shows signs of having cushings (haven't had her tested). She still had quite a bit of her winter coat at the start of this summer and while I had her on plain chaste berry before, I decided to give this a go and within a few days she started shedding like crazy and she is nearly completely shed out now and seems to be feeling great. It is true that it doesn't smell great, but she is a picky eater and didn't hesitate to gulp down her bucket with this in it.

Help for senior horses
I've had 2 horses on this for 9 mos. It did help them shed, although not completely. I had no laminitis problems this year. It does help.

I love smartpak but unfortunately my mare would not eat the pellet form and smartpak doesn’t offer any other forms of chase berry. I had to purchase from another vendor and got the organic powder form and that’s working really well.

Shedding like crazy
I bought this for my mare who I had to clip about every two months. They told me to wait a couple of months for any changes. 2 months go by and nothing but the 3rd month she is shedding like crazy. We live in Florida and all the other horses have fully shedded out. Her hair is just coming out more and more each day. My horse loves the taste and I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Hoping this is going to work!
Just started my 27 year old mare on this mid spring. She tends to have a longer, curlier coat every year and did not come off of the winter in as good of shape as in previous years. My veterinarian approves of the product, so I'm hoping if I keep her on this long-term, she will shed out fully and regain some muscle tone.

Great supplement
I bought this a month ago to try on my older horse that was showing signs of cushings. He had some muscle loss over the winter and wasn’t shedding his winter coat. He definitely had the look of an old tired boy. In about 2 weeks of being on this supplement, he started to shed some of his coat and I can tell now that he’s gaining the weight that he had lost. I definitely would recommend this to anyone that is having issues with their older horse

Great supplement!
My 19 yo mare's test for Cushing's came back positive last year (2018). I started giving her this supplement in July 2018. I just had her retested this Spring, and the results came back in the normal range. Couldn't be happier with the results of this product!!

Amazing results
My retired 25 year old quarter horse reiner has been suspected to have cushings for the last year, but he doesn’t show the majority of the symptoms. I added the smart pituitary pellets to help with his abnormal sweating patterns and to help boost his shedding this year hoping I wouldn’t have to body clip him. I’ve been very impressed with the results. My gelding is still very sound and rideable and with this supplement I have noticed his top line starting to gain muscle back. Over the winter he was starting to look like an old man, however now that spring has sprung he is a 10 year old again. I will keep this in his regimen. Thank you smart pak for making these great supplements that help keep our horses happy and healthy.

Love it!
My 23 year old gelding has had Cushing's since he was about 17. He's been on one tablet of Prascend per day ever since, and it helps him a lot. However, I wanted to see if I could give him even more support. I put him on this last fall, but I have really noticed a difference this spring. He is shedding out way better than he ever has and his coat has a nice rich color to it now. In addition, I like the added immune support so I know my old guy can remain as healthy as possible. Also, my gelding tends to be a picky eater but he has not problem eating this. I couldn't be happier!

Great product
I tried this product on my 21 yr old gelding starting in Jan.2019.This spring he looks better than he has in years.He is shedding out well and his coat looks shiny.He was a Cushing - type prior to this.

Impressive!
My 29 year old gelding has had suspected Cushings for years. This March he had to have 3 molars pulled which subsequently caused him to lose significant weight in a month even though he’s on free choice hay & pasture. The beginning of April I started him on Sentinel Performance LS but thinking that maybe Cushings isn’t helping him any, I ordered the Pituitary Senior Pellets. I will say that only after dose 2, this horse has had a boost in his “manhood” that honestly I’ve never seen in 23 years. I’m going to try and cut him back to half dose, but something is obviously doing something.

Not palatable!
My horse wouldn't touch h the stuff! It has a strong odor! She tried her best to eat around the stuff and finally refused to eat her food with Sr. pellets in it! Total waste of money!

Great improvement!
I bought SmartPituitary following the recommendation of a friend, who had some impressive before/after photos to share. I didn’t take any, but my horse—a 28-year-old Friesian—has lost lots of the “old age” long hair he had, gained condition, and seems more comfortable.

Got this supplement in King’s smartpaks today. King was just diagnosed with cushings last week after a quick decline this month (lost hundreds of pounds) and a lice infestation, and I am using this supplement to compliment the injectable meds he will be starting next month. Today I added SmartPituitary Pellets to his senior feed (3#) and he ate normally. I did not notice a really strong odor, and apparently neither did he! Super high quality, love the easy packs, and really excited to see how he does on them in the next couple months.

Wonderful results
My old gelding (30+) had very poor shedding this year and was generally not up to snuff. After only three weeks on this supplement, his coat is 100% nicer. He has always eaten OK but now he eats with relish and spends much more time outside grazing (he has free access to the barn). It is amazing how much this supplement has helped him. Thank you.

This was a trial for my needy horse
I cannot say it helped but it certainly didn't harm my horse. He has a peculiar sweating going on, baffling to vet as well. That is all I can comment at this time.

When I received this product the cover over the pellets was not sealed; the pellets appeared dry and dusty. I threw it out as it also appeared as if some of the pellets had already been used as the container was only 2/3 full. I have been a SmartPak user for many years and this is the first time I have been disappointed with your products.

Showing Improvements
My 31 year old mare was diagnosed with PPID last December. Her ACTH were pretty high and her daily does of Prasend is 1.5mg. She has also lost muscle mass and not always very peppy so I decided to try SmartPituitary in early May. She is now more like her old self with improved attitude. And her appetite has returned. She does get senior feed so when I started the product I added just a little corn oil and she ate it no problem. She will eat it now without added oil. She is almost completely shed out too.

No more pergolide!
Smart Pituitary has worked WONDERS for my horse with Cushings!
My 18-year-old TWH was diagnosed with Cushings three years ago. I've had him on pergolide since then, and the drug has kept his blood levels in a great range. I decided to try giving him Smart Pituitary instead of the pergolide to see how he would do. Working with my vet, I had him off of the drug for six weeks in order to get it out of his system--and then had his blood tested. His ACTH levels came back in the PERFECT range on just the Smart Pituitary alone. No more pergolide for us!
As an added benefit, since I've had him off pergolide, I've noticed that his coat is shinier, his eyes are brighter, and he seems to feel better all around.

Insulin levels stayed low
I had my mare on this product for 6 months and I believe it helped! She'd been slowly showing signs for cushings. Talked to my vet last Fall and needed to wait to test her until Spring. In the meantime vet wanted me to put her on chasteberry so I put her on this SmartPituitary Senior. Come Spring we tested her and she shows all signs of cushings however her insulin levels were just below the high level - Vet believes the chasteberry really helped! Thank you SmartPak!
