Fit Tips:
Be Sure only the browband strap fits tightly- the neck strap is only used to keep the collar in place. you should be able to slip two fingers between the neck strap and your horses neck
When adjusting the browband strap, tighten it one hole at a time until the horse quits cribbing. If necessary, you could punch additional holes in the browband strap for more (or less adjustment)
Continue to check the strap periodically and make any necessary changes. If your horse continues to crib, tighten the browband strap more. For best results, adjust the strap in the "head down " position.
You may want to experiment with loosening the collar slightly- Having the collar too tight may cause discomfort to your horse

not a real miracle
My horse was a cribber when I bought him. He always had a collar on at the barn that didn't work. I bought the miracle collar hoping for a miracle but it made him very uncomfortable and annoyed and he still cribbed. I ended up punching some new holes in the regular collar and covering it in fleece from another halter. This has stopped the cribbing completely. I made my own miracle.

Didn't love it
This collar did not work for my mare; adjusting it tight enough created rubs and sores and she could still crib right through it. The "Dare" collar worked much better for us: not necessary to wear it tight, and it is effective while being more comfortable.

Size Does Matter
Bought the collar for a big thoroughbred. But the large was really large! Not ever having to use one before, I had to punch more holes to keep my horse from continued wind-sucking. Need a smaller size for it to work effectively. Lesson learned.

it works but oh!
This really keeps the horse from cribbing and windsucking but it is so tight it looks like it would create a headache. Guess that's better than loosing all the fencing,wearing down teeth and getting gas colic. Definitely use it with the recommended fleece!

Good buy, definitely give it a try
The miracle collar is well made and very sturdy. All hardware and material has held up to heavy use. I have found a couple of problems. The leather does stretch some, so my horse would keep trying to crib and end up stretching the leather so much that the collar wasn't doing anything. Also, even with the fleece covers, I was having a number of problems in the area at the base of his ears, from the hair rubbing off, to fungal problems if the fleece got wet, to large fluid-filled blisters from the rubbing. All in all, this was a good first step in controlling my horse's cribbing. It generally reduces his cribbing, if not totally eliminating it. It's not a perfect solution, but it's a good value for the price and definitely worth a shot.

The miracle collar works great. My horse doesn't even try to crib while it is on. He can wear it more loosely than other cribbing collars.

Pretty Good
This is what I currently use. It is easy to put on, it seems to do the trick fairly well (there is still cribbing, but not as much), and it is durable. I have had it on my horse for several months and so far he has only ripped off a keeper. I think a less destructive horse would have it still fully intact. There is much less cribbing than without a collar at all. It falls down fairly easily though, if he puts his head down to eat, it will slip forward and the front strap hangs over his eyes. I think it would fit better on a fatter horse, he is very spindly and has a little head and neck. He does not have any rubs from it, which is very good, and the only thing to be noticed is that his bridle path is quite long, since the strap behind the ears shifts around. A good product for the money.

My favorite cribbing strap
Though I have used other types of cribbing straps in the past, this one is my favorite. It works very well, stays put, doesn't rub, and the leather is very good quality. They run a little large on the strap length. My horse that uses this now is a 17.1hh, thoroughbred and a medium fits him perfectly, though a large would have been fine if you don't mind the ends flopping or don't mind cutting the straps shorter.

Did not stop cribbing
I bought this product about 6 months or so ago. It is of very good quality with nice leather and a good fit but it really has no effect on my TBs cribbing.

Works great on some horses
My horse had some issues with the nutcracker type collar. With the Miracle collar he doesn't seem to mind it, and it greatly reduced his cribbing. One negative is that the collar gave him bald spots (even with the fleece). Overall, the quality is good but the leather can get stiff.

Great Quality / Odd fit
I purchased a large Miracle Collar locally for my 17 hand mare and the collar swam on her. I purchased this collar in medium and it is a nice fit but I wish there were keepers to hold the extra leathers down. After a few wearings the leather pieces stick out to the sides. It is a very good quality leather and has nice buckles and I would recommend this product - just measure your horses head first!

Only thing that seems to work...
My horse is a terrible cribber, and nutcracker-style cribbing straps did absolutely nothing to stop him. I tried the Miracle Collar, and it has helped a lot. He will still crib if he isn't wearing it, but when he has it on, he pretty much gives up. It does rub because it has to be on pretty tight for it to work, so I always use it with fleece covers. Also, the leather has stretched out with some use, so I've had to punch new holes. However, it's made well, so it's still going strong.

Not that great but works on some horses
Been there done that. We spent the money and tried the Miracle Collar and I dont think it's all that miraculous to be honest. I think it does a little better job than the nutcracker collars but overall I dont think it is worth the money. It tends to rub alot (even with fleece protection) and just never seems to fit quite right no matter what horse it is on. I prefer the French Style collar overall because of the wide straps, less rubbing and overall better effectiveness...My neighbor however had great luck with the collar working on one of her horses but it always did rub.

works well enough
This collar works okay, but my horse is incredibly stubborn, and insists on cribbing during meal times no matter how tight the collar is. If I don't want him to crib, he has to eat outside and not in his stall. It is amazing on other horses though. Just know your horse before buying, the stubborn ones tend to not care. I also recommend finding out through a vet or nutritionist if there might be a physical reason for your horse's cribbing. Turns out my horse has digestive issues, so after putting him on some probiotics, he doesn't try to crib as much, and the collar is much more effective.

Wow!

This is the only cribbing strap that works for me!
The Miracle Collar has been just that for my horse. He is a persistent cribber. The nutcracker styles did not work. This particular Miracle Collar is great - in the older version, the forehead strap would occasionally get stuck over his eye when he rolled. However, this problem has been fixed by the little piece of leather that connects the two straps.
