The only blanket I buy
These blankets have always fit my horses well and never rub. No matter what the body shape the always seem to work. I have had to replace a few after a season of wear due to minor issues such as piping or destructive pasture mates but have had zero issue doing so. Customer service is great and has always shipped me a replacement in a timely manner. They 100% stand behind their guarantee and the quality is comparable to any other brand, this is why this blanket is always my go to.

Not waterproof
I purchased 12-15 of these brackets. The blankets themselves are fine but the sheets aren’t waterproof at all. I’ve tried 6-8 of these sheets and every one leaks. Several of the sheets were already replaced once and the replacements aren’t waterproof either. It’s really a nuisance to keep having to repackage and go to the post office so now we just own a bunch of sheets that aren’t good for rainy days. They are fine for 55 degree dry nights but that’s about it. For the money I would buy Rambo/amigo, which I’ve ever had an issue with.

Just an FYI, I thought I received the wrong blanket as it looks nothing like the DeepDive blue pictured. It is actually MUCH prettier and much darker. In the house it looks navy, but outside it looks like a dark teal. Haven't tried on horse yet, will keep you posted.

Well made blanket sturdy material
I really wish I could have kept this blanket but neck opening is way too big for my Arabian. Even though I ordered a 69 the neck opening is sized for a warm blood. This is the second smartpak blanket I have had to return. I would suggest the smaller blanket would require an all over smaller blanket. When the neck opening is too large it hangs too low and runs the shoulder

Can’t beat the value of the warranty!
This is a great sheet and you really can’t beat the value of the 10-year warranty. I bought two of these a few years ago and only just had to send in one of them for replacement as a baby horse had chewed and ripped the binding on it in turn out. Customer service was great - easy to get the claim processed and the new sheet arrived quickly once I mailed back the old one. The fit on these is also great and I would totally purchase again!

Nice sheet, not completely waterproof
I bought this sheet for my Dutch Warmblood but it ended up fitting my Thoroughbred better. The color is adorable!! Okay, now... I live in the very rainy Pacific Northwest and so we know what happens in rain! Our rain lasts days and weeks, nonstop! My horses are unclipped and live outside 24 hrs unless a bad storm blows in. Yes, they have shelter. This sheet does great in light rain showers but if it really gets a soaking your horse will be damp and or lightly wet in spots. I dont mind the neck and shoulders since that is obviously where water goes. but he was wet over his hips, back, sides. I'll continue to use it but for super rainy days I think I will double it up with another sheet. Love the color and love the warranty!

This sheet fits my chinky horse really well. The front adjustable buckles with clips are good, along with shoulder gusset. The sttetchy cords are great quality! Neck cover, which I ordered together, cover the rainy day very well.

Replacing all my turnout blankets with these!
I've just purchased my 3rd one of these blankets for my destructive gelding. These are the only blankets that he keeps on and doesn't tear, rip or destroy. Fit is perfect, hardware and straps are top quality and they look good on him. My last purchase was the 100 gram fill which is the perfect weight for when it's cold at night but warms up during the day.

Good blanket but replacement process sucks!
Liked the blanket, but the piping on the blanket on all four that I bought for four horses keeps coming off. If your horse pulls, tugs at it or rubs on anything it comes loose and hangs down dangerously for your horse to get caught in. Another blanket tore when one of the horses fell while turned out. Never had other brands have these problems. When it comes time to send them back for replacement it takes almost two months to receive the replacements. Better have a spare on hand in order to go through the replacement process!

Great Quality with an Even Better Warrenty
I love this blanket, not only is the color beautiful but the quality of the blanket is amazing. My gelding is really good to his blankets luckily, however his buddies aren't always as kind. This blanket has held up great so far and I'm looking forward to many more uses! And the 10 year warranty is worth the price!

I loved except....
I bought about six Ultimate turnout sheets and four ultimate neck covers. I had to return four recently due to them coming about. One was due to horse taking a fall and the others were due to all the piping coming off. It wasn't sewn on very well and any time a horse brushed up on something or what ever they were doing the piping just fell off in long strings which could be dangerous if the horse got that piping stuck in something. I'm still waiting on replacements for the ones sent in December and the first week on January. The replacement process is very long, so you better have spares. My Pessoa, Weatherbeeta, and other off brands have held up better, but I love that SmartPak will replace them for ten years no matter what.

Nice cut, didn't care for front velcro design
I am loyal to the Rambo turnout blankets because of their excellent design, they are expensive but just about indestructible. I decided to give the SP Ultimate TO Blanket a try. The great parts is that the fabric does appear super strong, color and trim were attractive, I liked the cut in general, especially through the chest and shoulders, but there is just one little piece of velcro that attached underneath the clips. It was kind of chintzy, then the buckles in front were a little tough to operate. These two things made it a return for me, but if you are less picky you will probably like this blanket.
