Really works
I could NOT keep my saddle pads from slipping back and further back. My dressage saddle stayed in place but the pad always ended up sliding back and out from under. I bought a $250 non slip pad that works but is a pain to wash and dry. Then I tried this SmartPak pad between the saddle and the saddle pad. No more slipping. It stays exactly where I put it. I use the contour option and it does show a little bit around the edges of my 17.5 inch saddle, but looks just fine. Now I can use whatever pad I like, and know it will stay in place because of the non slip pad. I understand the pad can also be used between the horse and the saddle pad, but I have only used it between the saddle pad and the saddle. I have not had it long enough to rate durability, but it looks like it will be fine.

Fell Apart
I bought this a couple weeks ago and it already ripped right down the middle. Super disappointed.

Didn’t help my situation….
I bought this no -slip pad to help with a saddle slipping forward, the problem itself is smaller then I assumed it would be and didn’t prevent my saddle from slipping, that being said, it isn’t a bad pad just didn’t work for me.

rips and tears easily
I saw some reviews saying it wasn’t very durable and decided to try anyway. I tried to be very careful with it but suddenly it started ripping everywhere. Huge gash by the pommel and one tear near the seam. It worked pretty well to stop slipping but I wish it were more durable.

Ripped on First Use
I bought this pad after doing some slight research, seemed like the best bang for the buck. Finally get it in the mail after waiting a couple weeks after I ordered, use it once on my horse, we do hunter/jumper, worked will the saddle did not slip back as far as it usually does, but when taking off the pad I noticed it had ripped about halfway down the middle. Was disappointed in the quality and hope I am able to use if for more rides with out it getting worse.

Poor Durability
Used three times under my dressage saddle pad. Third time went to remove it with saddle pad from slightly sweaty horse and it stuck and ripped.

Great inexpensive pad
I've been using this for about 2 weeks, works great especially for the price! I didn't have issues with slipping with my jumping saddle, but a dressage saddle I am borrowing is slipping to the left. It has been really helpful and looks like it will be easy to clean.

Better than nothing
I bought this because my mare became slippery as an eel after being body clipped. My saddle pads were sliding all over the place. This pad has solved about 50% of my problem. They still shift a bit but at least stay on the horse.

Unfortunately
I bought the shaped pad in May and used it about 5-6 times per week, and yesterday (November 20) I was untacking and found the pad ripped right down the spine. This is super unfortunate because I love the shape and it seemed to work well.

Not for jumping
Have always liked all Smartpak products. This pad however lasted a week (4 rides). I jumped at the end of the week and it ripped down the middle.
