rips and tears easily
I saw some reviews saying it wasn’t very durable and decided to try anyway. I tried to be very careful with it but suddenly it started ripping everywhere. Huge gash by the pommel and one tear near the seam. It worked pretty well to stop slipping but I wish it were more durable.

Ripped on First Use
I bought this pad after doing some slight research, seemed like the best bang for the buck. Finally get it in the mail after waiting a couple weeks after I ordered, use it once on my horse, we do hunter/jumper, worked will the saddle did not slip back as far as it usually does, but when taking off the pad I noticed it had ripped about halfway down the middle. Was disappointed in the quality and hope I am able to use if for more rides with out it getting worse.

Poor Durability
Used three times under my dressage saddle pad. Third time went to remove it with saddle pad from slightly sweaty horse and it stuck and ripped.

Works great but doesn’t hold up to use
I bought this in September and now January it has torn away from the binding. It lives in a tackroom when not in use and is only used 2-3 times a week at most and actually I didn’t start to really use it until November of 2020...

Great inexpensive pad
I've been using this for about 2 weeks, works great especially for the price! I didn't have issues with slipping with my jumping saddle, but a dressage saddle I am borrowing is slipping to the left. It has been really helpful and looks like it will be easy to clean.

Better than nothing
I bought this because my mare became slippery as an eel after being body clipped. My saddle pads were sliding all over the place. This pad has solved about 50% of my problem. They still shift a bit but at least stay on the horse.

Unfortunately
I bought the shaped pad in May and used it about 5-6 times per week, and yesterday (November 20) I was untacking and found the pad ripped right down the spine. This is super unfortunate because I love the shape and it seemed to work well.

Does It's Job
For the price, this is a good purchase. My young horse is going through growth changes, and as we work with the saddle fitter, this helps keep the saddle where it should be. Super easy to clean as well.
However, I've only had it a few weeks and it has already ripped. The hole is small and does not affect it's function so I'm not returning the pad as I won't be using it forever, but durability is definitely not long with this one.
I'm going to recommend, but if you are considering buying, note for yourself how much you'll be using the pad!

Good thing it's cheap!
Barley helped with slipping on my semi-round WB mare. I got one from another company that is more gel like material and it works so much better. This one ripped after maybe 3 uses.

Worked perfect!
I just bought this because everything was sliding. I put it directly on the horses back, under my half pad. Everything stayed in place. I will use it every ride. SmartPak was very helpful in guiding me to this product to fit my needs.

Love it, but it rips.
So far I’ve bought two of these pads. While they do help with being no slip, they RIP instantly almost. The first one I bought lasted me over a month. The one I currently have lasted TWO DAYS. While I wait for my new saddle this one will have to do, but they should really consider rethinking the overall integrity of this pad to make it a little more stable.

Awesome pad!
I recently got a (new to me) used saddle that ended up being a smidge wider than my old one and while it does fit it tends to slide forward halfway through a ride on my little short backed hanoverian. Decided to give this a try and it works great! Completely fixed the slip problem! Love the all over perforation, its quite breathable (I love in north california and our summers get well over the 100s). While the pad does seem to be good quality, its still quite thin so I would just be careful when taking it off after a ride so it doesn't tear. I got the contoured one which fits my 17.5 dressage saddle perfectly (has room to spare front and back but doesnt stick out at all) customer service with smartpak great as always, will definitely be ordering more of these!

Great non slip pad at exceptional price
We use this pad on my WB jumper, who really likes his job and can really jump out of his tack sometimes! This helps everything stay secure and still allows his skin to breathe! We love it!!!! It also doesn't break the bank!

perfect!
This pad was just what was needed to prevent saddle slippage. The pad was small enough to put underneath a dressage saddle pad. It allowed me to loosen up the girth and allow the horse to have some breathing room. It definitely works to prevent any saddle slippage!

Was not worth the wait
I have a very big moving uphill horse and my breastplate is working over time so i got this in the hopes that it would prevent the breastplate from strangling him :P
I placed it directly on his back, then tacked up as normal. I didn’t notice a difference at all with saddle slippage. He didn’t get any rubs or complain about it though either!
Also shipping took ages. Took over a week to get to me. At least it was on sale!

Below par durability
