I was worried because this was a littler more rigid that it might rub my mare. But nope! And pretty cool too. Fits true to size maybe slightly roomy.

great sheet, chest did not fit my horse
Loved this sheet. the material is lighter than other similar brands. The belly band was far enough forward for my gelding. Tail flap is large and the sheet comes with both tail strap and leg straps. My horse is a 16.3 QH with large neck and chest. I unfortunately had to return as I could not close the chest. Length was perfect and drop was good.

Nice sheet but…
Skip this fly sheet if you have a chunky horse. Nice looking sheet with great features but not suitable for a most horses. I tried it on two and it really is meant for a thin lean type horse.

Very pleased !! The flies hate me......
My just- turned- 5 year old spends lots of time being silly in the pasture....and doesn't understand the nasty biting flies that have recently arrived....but the Smart Mesh fly sheet stands up to both challenges beautifully. They have excellent coverage and stay in place . The animals appear to be totally comfortable as none of the horses seem to pay any attention to wearing clothes...and the clothes are still intact !! In fact after 2 owners at the barn were pleased with our purchases, I now see 6 other new Smart Pak fly sheets decorating various pastures......and every owner I've spoken to is very pleased. What more can I say ??

Cute color
I loved the color of this but that’s about it. Wish I would have stuck with Kensington. This sheet does stay up on neck well. But, say goodbye to the bottom of your horses mane along with all the fur on the withers. After a month, say hello to course curly hair on the top of their rump. Not a lot of give in the fabric. My mare actually tries to walk away when I put it on.

Nice and lightweight!
I bought this for my draft cross with Cushing’s. He’s having a real problem with sweet itch. Louisiana summer weather is hot, hot, hot and even more humid. The first sheet I bought from SmartPak for him, touted as being specifically for sweet itch, is way too heavy. With this sheet, he still sweats but is much more comfortable. This sheet breathes yet protects him. It’s well made (he’s a huge boy and sometimes hard on anything he wears) and has nice features so it stays on. Thank you SmartPak!

Could be better
I wanted to give 5 stars, but after a month of use on three horses, I see they need some design changes. The belly strap is too short and needs a third strap to keep it wrapped around the horse. The rip stop could be stronger - all 3 fly sheets have tears, some as long as 3 inches. On one fly sheet, the neck cover reinforcing strap is coming unsewn. The strap to attach the neck cover to a halter or fly mask has a tiny bit of Velcro that stopped sticking immediately - perhaps use snaps instead. With all that said, my horses (one in private turnout, two turned out together) are certainly getting good fly relief with these fly sheets.

Fits Perfect!
First Fly sheet I've found that allows a lot of air circulation and my horse does not avoid me putting it on him. The length all the way around, the belly cover and the elastic that holds it under the tail is great. The snaps instead of buckles are so much easier to deal with.. The overall fit couldn't be better!

Great fly sheet!
This flysheet is fabulous. It fits my warmblood mare very well, provides some UV protection, good ventilation, and after several weeks of daily wear it is durable. I originally purchased it because of the 3 year warranty, but fell in love with it because of the fit and features.

I like the front closure better than most fly sheets. Time will tell how long it will last on my little blanket destroyer. It's supposed to have a 3 year guarantee. Hopefully I won't have to use it.

My gelding loves it
Got this sheet for my black gelding. He fades terribly in the summer and over the past few years we have gone through numerous fly sheets as he is quite destructive. I love the fit and how light weight it is. I know some reviews complained that it was too stiff (it is a bit stiff) but if the fabric was super soft it probably wouldn’t be near as durable. Hadley isn’t complaining. He actually stays cooler with this on than without it. Being that he is black he normally soaks up any ounce of heat the sun let’s off. He is a happy camper with this fly sheet and I’m super happy with the guarantee and the quality.

Unreal warranty and guarantee!!
This is the best fly sheet I have ever purchased! It comes with a 3 yr guarantee!! My horse caught it on a fence within the first week and I contacted them for a replacement. THEY were amazing! Durable and easy to clean
I was so pleased with the first one that I bought that I purchased two more. All 3 fit very well and seem like they will have good air flow for the warmer months. I have one in every color which makes it easier to know which one goes on which horse. So far these are my all-time favorite fly sheets. Please make them in more colors!

This fly sheet is NOT a keeper for me
There was nothing I liked about this fly sheet. It is probably quite durable but I am returning it. The material is thick and stiff and the fit was too narrow across the chest. The plastic bag it was packed in was cracking and disintegrating.

Great Product-Highly Recommend
I have now had this sheet for a year. My horse is allergic to flies/gnats and has to wear a sheet nearly 24/7 in the summer months. After a year of extreme use for a horse that is hard on sheets and blankets it has no tears. He loves it! He looks significantly more comfortable immediately after I put it on. I would absolutely purchase again if I ever had another horse with a fly sensitivity.
