Great value
This is the first fly sheet my horse hasn't destroyed within a few days. Fits great, good coverage without being too much fabric. I do wish they'd put fleece on the withers, as well at something where the shoulder gussets are sewn to help prevent rubs as my guy is out in this 24/7, but really pleased overall.

Nice quality but odd fit
I purchased this fly sheet for a tall, slender, narrow, long-backed warmblood. Oddly enough, it was plenty long, but I couldn't get the chest pieces to overlap enough to engage the Velcro fastening, even on the longest buckle/clip settings, and the belly band was barely long enough to clasp even with the straps fully elongated. I'm disappointed because the sheet looks sturdy and well-made, but it's going back.

Easy to put on my horse.

Didn’t hold up
I purchased 2 of these sheets and neither one has held up. They started either the inner shoulder lining tearing and then multiple exterior tears. The horse wearing them has private turnout. Very disappointed at the durability. Only have had since spring.

A great sheet but not for every horse
I was really pleased with this fly sheet initially. As with other SmartPak blankets, it was of good quality for the price. Over a couple of weeks, a problem arose for my elderly mare: the material is very stiff (and durable) and she couldn’t move in it. Her gait was so short in front that I thought she was foundering (she has cushings). The good news is that she’s fine and she just needs a sheet with more give. If you have a younger, more destructive horse, this could be a great solution.

Terrific fly sheet!
This is the best sheet I've had. The mesh is very durable yet light. Chest closure has both velcro and regular blanket snaps. The belly band is a great feature. The fit is perfect, and the neck cover is large enough to be effective yet not constrictive or too billowy.

This fly sheet is fantastic! Great fit, easy hook and loop closures, large tail flap. Stays in place and provides excellent coverage for my large horse. Lightweight but durable. The only thing I would like to see is fleece at the withers.

Was on the fence, but glad I bought it
I was a little skeptical of buying this fly sheet. I am not a fan of the design and was concerned it would not fit my stocky horse type well. It ended up being ok once I saw it in person! It has generous shoulder room & drops pretty long. The sheet is a fine durable mesh. Seems very breathable and it has stood up to some tough play. (horse trying to rip it off with teeth, rolling down a steep hill daily, rubbing against fence.) The only issue I can't stand is it is difficult to just "throw" outside the stall... it flails everywhere in the aisle. You always need to neatly fold it when removing. I am glad the fly sheet is holding up and I think it is a fair value. Will recommend to anybody!

Very lightweight for hot and humid climate
I just bought this fly sheet in hopes that it will be cool enough for our Florida hot and humid climate... and I’m so happy I did. Fits my horse perfect with only one issue that the belly band is snug. The sheet is cool and stays dry even after it rains. The neck is nice a long to reach the poll with a Velcro tab to keep it in place. I will be ordering another one for sure, it’s the best fly sheet I own. The warranty gives me peace of mind that if something goes wrong they stand behind their product.

Huge for an ottb
Way too big! I have a dainty ottb who measures right at 76 so I went with the 78 thinking it could be a little long....it's HUGE. Unfortunately the sale on these fly sheets ended and it seems the exchange policy has changed where you have to return and item and then purchase it again, rather than ship it back for a direct exchange. It was a very nice light weight and seemed durable, but returning due to fit. I found a sale on a different website... I would only recommend this if you know your horse's size in this brand.

Needs one change
Fabulous sheet..never moves...great material..BUT as several reviews said RUBS SHOULDERS...you need to listen. This is your product! I prefer to buy your products. Photos attached. 11 years old..never been rubbed in summer or winter before..WHY? NO ADJUSTMENT IN FRONT..WHATS WITH THAT?
Super easy exchange..fabulous policies n girls on the phone..that's why I buy from you. Please fix this...easy fix...just make front adjustable!

Great material
I've only had this for my horse a month now but it's doing the job of keeping her bug free; the material does not stick to her and is thick enough to be sturdy. I haven't used the neck piece yet since I wanted to give her a little freedom of moving around when in the pasture. The only thing that bothers me is that the front flap curls in and stays there.

Wonderful product
Wonderful product. The fabric is Great quality and breathable to help keep him cool. It also seems to shed the dust and dirt. The design is good except for one thing. My Horse has a very round barrel for a small horse. The 72 inch sheet just barely makes it around his barrel. But it still works!

Quality Flysheet but Weird Fit
My horse is quite easy to fit in blankets and sheets. He's like the Breyer model horse build wise. The 78, his typical size, was about 9 inches falling off his tail dock. The 75 was better in length but way narrow in the chest so it had to go back. The neck piece was way too long too and my horse has a long neck. Too bad seems like a well made flysheet. The exchange process needs some ironing out on Smartpaks end. It was a pain getting another size. Took too long. Ended up buying another make in the interim.

First bought an 81 which was too large.was told next size down is a 78 so I bought that.Tried it on and the fit was perfect. He wore two days and suffered nasty,raw shoulder rubs.Not happy and will certainly not put it back on him.

Impressive!!
I'm so happy with this fly sheet! the 87" fits my 17.3h Hanoverian super, no rubbing. He run's hot and this sheet is so light and breathable and amazing it keeps him cooler under the sheet as it must reflect the sun a bit. It's also durable!! he was scratching his neck against a tree today and the sheet neck cover has no signs of wear & tear.
So impressed by Smartpak's fly sheet!

It is the Ultimate Fly Sheet
Recieved this yesterday and I'm very satisfied. First I ordered a blanket and I read the review that is didn't breath, living in Colorado with our hot summers I called to cancel my order. SmartPak has the BEST customer service. The rep canceled my order and spent a long time on the phone finding the best match for me. keeps the flys off but very tight in the shoulders
I bought this a few weeks ago and it works great to keep the flies off my sensitive 19 y/o OTTB, but it is rubbing his shoulder. He is 16 hands and measures into a 78". I don't know if I will be able to keep using it. He wears it 2-4 hours in the morning and 4-6 hours in the evening. It rubbed all the hair off the points of his shoulders after 1 week of use. My weatherbeeta fly sheet doesn't rub him at all.
