The Rhino® SmartPak Collection Wug Turnout Sheet was created exclusively for SmartPak by the experts at Horseware Ireland for one of the most fashionable and functional turnouts around. It features a 1000 denier exterior backed by Rhino®’s Barrier Technology. That means that even if your horse manages to tear the tough outer shell, the waterproof protection remains intact. The lining on this sheet will keep your horse looking as good as he feels with shine-enhancing and antibacterial properties. Plus, the Surefit neck design reduces pressure on the withers while the patented V-Front closure wraps around the point of the shoulder, keeping the sheet light across the chest and relieving pressure on the shoulders. Additionally, front leg arches give your horse more freedom of movement. Finally, a tail flap provides extra protection against wind and rain while cross-belly surcingles and a tail cord provide a secure fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maybe A from Quality? I generally love Rambo. Rhino is next best but not as durable; I hesitated to get this and should have trusted my instincts. My horse has been wearing this for two months tops but it had the pleats in the back near the tail flap unstitched in the first week; also minor fabric tears from a friend having taken a bite off his side the same week.., not sure how durable this will be. Considered returning…

Unfortunately the first time my horses wore them, the blankets were not at all waterproof and got soaked, leaving my poor senior horse shivering. Horseware doesn't honor their warranty on these blankets -- do not reccomend them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Horsemom707 from Cute but sadly not durable. Waste of money I purchased this turnout as I have had good experiences with Rhino turnouts in the past. I loved the color and fit. However, after just 4 times of wearing thing one it developed a snag in the material and it tore through all the layers. I have a senior horse who is not hard on his rain gear and was not pleased to find out that this falls outside of their 3 year proclaimed warranty. I can no longer support Rhino as a company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sara15108 from Best Blankets Ever These are the best blankets, I’ve used them with a horse who is on the narrower side and a horse who is on the broader side and neither of them have ever experienced shoulder or wither rubs from these blankets - and I’ve used these blankets for years. They really hold up, they remain waterproof because Horsewear uses a special lining, and they are the easiest blankets to put on and take off. Also, the colors are great! Can’t recommend enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TwoOwlsFarm from Fantastic sheets - plaid is cute, the fit is great I've had these sheets for a few weeks now so cannot speak to the longevity of them, but so far I have to say I am very pleased. the cut/fit on my two horses (OTTB and ApHC) are fantastic. Normally my gelding is very hard on my mare's sheets and blankets, so it's nice to see these holding up so well thus far. Plus they're super cute in the plaid!

Rated 3 out of 5 by chemindefer from High Neck Folds Under I've used Rhinos in the past and they were great, but I feel like this one is not as well made. The neck folded under on my horse. I don't recommend it for the "modern sporthorse", who have an uphill build. I got the SmartPak High Neck which fits him much better and appears to be a much better blanket!

Rated 2 out of 5 by MDEventer from Poor fit I was recommended to try the Wug style because I have a high necked Morgan who can be hard to fit due to her neck set alone. This runs a little large, which would be OK except even in my mare’s regular 72, while the blanket was long, the neck and shoulder fit was incredibly tight. She couldn’t put her head down to eat from the ground without it visibly being very taught and pinching the skin at the base of her neck. Even while simply standing the blanket was uncomfortably skin tight around the shoulders and chest. She is not at all a wide shouldered horse so the poor fit there surprised me, and both issues in the front end made the entire blanket unwearable even if I wanted to exchange for a different length. I later heard from multiple others that they’ve had the same exact problem with this specific blanket.
