Look comfortable
I have purchased these to use these when my horse is in the stall to prevent rubs on the areas above the coronary band. I have only tried them on her for size as have not needed to use them yet. I may be using them at the start of June. It will depend on the amount of shavings in the stall as this helps rubs. If she gets rubs this may start the flies attacking the area causing the possibility of summer sores. I have had to move barns due to summer sore issues. Sometimes at boarding places ppl do not worm horses correctly. I purchased size medium for the fronts and large for the backs. Horse is 16.3 Qtr Horse Appendix. These are very easy for staff to put on and take off. No staff wants to do the polo wraps these days.

Easy and Fast
My gelding is on stall rest for some months and so I bought these to make his care easier for me and the barn owner. They are so easy to put on - much easier than quilt wraps. They also stay put. I am thinking about ordering another pair so that I can have a full set for trailering - plus have an extra pair when I am washing one.

Exactly what I was looking for!
My big 5yo warmblood kept nicking his legs. I tried the inverted hoof bells but they didn’t provide enough coverage. These stall boots were exactly what I was looking for. They protect his legs from getting nicks and cuts
And I can safely leave them on 24/7. I could probably have gone with a smaller size (I got Large for his front legs and XL for his back legs for a 17hh German Warmblood, but he’s actually slender boned) and they might be too bulky/hot for summer time, but right now in winter I love them.

Easy to use
They are easy to use, however, a strap broke on the first time she wore them. They appear to be sewn on well, the strap tore on the strap, not the connection.

good for protection
I bought these for a horse that traumatizes both her fetlocks and knees. Its much quicker to apply these then the usual standing wraps and you can adjust the quilt to fit higher or lower on the limb (lower would cover the pastern and higher would cover the knee I was happy to see that this easy to apply wrap covered both the fetlock AND the knee. They do not fit as firmly as a standing wrap so are not good as support wraps but are excellent as protective wrap.

Great alternative to bandaging
I purchased the XL for my Percheron, but only fit when I took out the padded lining. I use it to prevent scratches made by her hooves as she gets up, which works well and a lot faster than nightly bandages!

Awkward; not a substitute for proper wrapping
I was hoping these would be a versatile alternative to traditional wraps for shipping and standing wraps, but they just are not. The product is well made and durable, but you just can't cheat.

Sturdy on the outside, soft in the inside!
These stable wraps are easy to put on and take off, AND they stay in place! I like the fact that they’re shaped for the fetlock joint. I bought them because my gelding gets sores on the front of his front fetlock joints from laying down or getting up- not sure which. These would make excellent shipping boots as well since they cover the coronet band too. I’ve used them for a couple of weeks and washed them only once, but they look like they will last a long time.

Works perfectly
exactly what I needed. Unlike Back on Track it other brands, they aren’t ceramic or magnetic (though you can buy these liners separately), so I could use them for longer on my stall bound horse, and they didn’t trap unnecessary heat. Shavings don’t stick that much, easy to put on and fit well. One of my best investments this year!
Only complaint is I believe the bag it arrived in mentioned magnetic capabilities. These boots are not magnetic. You can buy a magnetic linear from manufacturer but they are not sold by SmartPak. Made me question things but it’s easy to tell there are not magnets in the liner so no harm. Just an irregularity.

So great that I needed 2 pairs!
My horse was diagnosed with DSLD during the summer of 2018. This causes him to stock up in his hind legs and to retain some edema under his pasterns. At the time, he had to be wrapped and re-wrapped EVERY. DAY. After many sad attempts at applying standing wraps, I bought an XL pair of these boots.
I was hesitant because the price seemed too good to be true. They arrived, looking really nice. I wondered about durability, considering price. Long story short, they are great and I still have my original pair! I even purchased an additional pair for my guy's front legs!
These wraps definitely help with horses that tend to stock up. The strap that goes under the pastern has also helped my guy with his edema. The "pillow" is attached with Velcro, so it can be removed for washing. I have washed the whole boot multiple times and they hold up fine (I recommend using a garment bag so the velcro doesn't stick to everything). These are great boots for stall rest, daily use, and even turn out (non-muddy). I have and will continue to recommend these.
