Awkward; not a substitute for proper wrapping
I was hoping these would be a versatile alternative to traditional wraps for shipping and standing wraps, but they just are not. The product is well made and durable, but you just can't cheat.

Sturdy on the outside, soft in the inside!
These stable wraps are easy to put on and take off, AND they stay in place! I like the fact that they’re shaped for the fetlock joint. I bought them because my gelding gets sores on the front of his front fetlock joints from laying down or getting up- not sure which. These would make excellent shipping boots as well since they cover the coronet band too. I’ve used them for a couple of weeks and washed them only once, but they look like they will last a long time.

Works perfectly
exactly what I needed. Unlike Back on Track it other brands, they aren’t ceramic or magnetic (though you can buy these liners separately), so I could use them for longer on my stall bound horse, and they didn’t trap unnecessary heat. Shavings don’t stick that much, easy to put on and fit well. One of my best investments this year!
Only complaint is I believe the bag it arrived in mentioned magnetic capabilities. These boots are not magnetic. You can buy a magnetic linear from manufacturer but they are not sold by SmartPak. Made me question things but it’s easy to tell there are not magnets in the liner so no harm. Just an irregularity.

So great that I needed 2 pairs!
My horse was diagnosed with DSLD during the summer of 2018. This causes him to stock up in his hind legs and to retain some edema under his pasterns. At the time, he had to be wrapped and re-wrapped EVERY. DAY. After many sad attempts at applying standing wraps, I bought an XL pair of these boots.
I was hesitant because the price seemed too good to be true. They arrived, looking really nice. I wondered about durability, considering price. Long story short, they are great and I still have my original pair! I even purchased an additional pair for my guy's front legs!
These wraps definitely help with horses that tend to stock up. The strap that goes under the pastern has also helped my guy with his edema. The "pillow" is attached with Velcro, so it can be removed for washing. I have washed the whole boot multiple times and they hold up fine (I recommend using a garment bag so the velcro doesn't stick to everything). These are great boots for stall rest, daily use, and even turn out (non-muddy). I have and will continue to recommend these.

Excellent protection
Bought these a month ago for my 21 year old mare who has knee abrasions from getting up and down. They're easy on and off and she has been able to heal up without constantly re aggrivating her wounds. Just bought a second pair to rotate while there in the wash!

Durability
I bought these boots for my 25 year old 20 second pole horse before we left for NLBRA finals last year and I am so glad I did. The boots are very durable and supportive they don’t slip down at all in the trailer.

My mare cannot remove these!
I was having problems with my mare tearing away at her standing wraps and giving herself bandage bows. She can not remove these. She still tears at them, which is why I am on my second pair in four months. The good news is that she can not harm herself.

Love Premier Equine products.
My mare Is on stall rest and stocks up in the back. These wraps are easy and foolproof so the Barn staff can put them on and take them off when I can’t be there. Much easier than bandages and I’m not worried about bows. Also they stay cool keeping my horses legs from heating up.

I'd ship in them
Just didn't feel comfortable with the way they fit. Probably reapplied them 6 times trying to get comfortable with them. Left them on for 6 hours and by the time I pulled them off the injured leg showed some effusion again. For a short shipping period I think they'd be easier than standing wraps but in my hands shipping wraps are the better support bandage.

Great idea and such a good price
I’ve been looking for shipping wraps like this for so long. They’re wonderful. The pillow liners are removable for washing, and the brand itself sells different liners (ceramic, magnetic, etc.) directly from their website. These are so much faster than standing pillow wraps for shipping. I haven’t used them for medical purposes yet.
My OTTB is 16.2hh and not very heavily boned but not super fine either. Medium in the front fits him perfectly. He can fit into either Medium or Large hinds. Premier does tend to run a little large.
Make sure you don’t leave them loose or they will slip down a little bit, moreso than a shipping pillow wrap (as you can see in the photo, I didn’t wrap the hinds tightly enough.)
Def worth the money. You can get BOT technology for half the price if you buy these wraps and the interchangeable ceramic liners!

Buyer beware of sizing!!!
The sizing is not accurate!!!! I ordered smalls and they are marked mediums!!! I contacted smartpak about it and can’t beleive they haven’t changed the size guide! They are selling smalls as mediums! I reordered them over the phone, paid for them and customer service said they would have them shipped to them to check the sizing before it shipped to me..: two weeks go by and I never heard anything! i had to call them to tell me through past notes that the smalls were indeed marked medium and that they would refund me. Pretty disappointed I had to contact them to tell me that after they already knew for sometimes and was charged to have something shipped to them to check sizing and then never recieved a call back!
The boots however are nice quality for the price.... as long as u can get the sizing right.

Quick and easy
I bought these for the first time a couple years ago for my mare who has knee issues due to sleep deprivation and needs to remain bandaged or in boots all the time. Stable wraps were not practical as im not able to redo them multiple times a day, but these are perfect for our needs. They keep her knees and fetlocks protected and most importantly do not make her legs not during our summers! She's worn them almost 24/7 for 2+ years and I'm
just getting ready to order my fourth pair. These hold up and give me peace of mind.

Love these!
If you need a multi purpose boot this is it! They are very easy to put on take off even for those who are not good or comfortable with bandages. The Med fronts and hinds fit my 16hh big boned appendix mare. Great for in stall use or shipping boots. Looks good and tidy. I like these better then the BOT boots for the reason that this brand has different pilliow inserts that you can use. These are the standered pilliows however if you go to the makers site you can purchase the ceramic pillows or magnetic ones (wish Smartpak would carry the different ones ;) ). I love the ceramic but let's face it there are times you just need normal pillows. These are great boots and seem like they will last. Would buy again!

Disappointed.
I ordered these recently to use mainly as a shipping boot. Tried them in the stall for a few hours to make sure they'd stay in place - no dice. They slipped almost halfway down my horse's legs. Fortunately he's a pretty sensible horse and didn't panic about it, but I'm hesitant to use these again. The liners are very bulky and difficult to get snug. I think I might try these with a traditional no-bow underneath and see if that works better. I really wanted to like these! :(

Can not fit short cannon ,good boned horse.
I was so excited to get these. My boy is 15.2 hh and has recent classic Arab blood in his WB line = he has good bone. He needs leg protection in the stall because he loves to roll and was always managing to cut himself as he did. I started to use some old Tough 1 felt lined travel pads simply for leg protection but they were collecting shavings inside that were then causing rubs/sores. When I found these I thought this was the answer verses standing wraps. I was wanting something quick since he is a stallion and 'fool proof' because we have experienced a permanent ( thankfully only cosmetic but it could have been worse) leg injury from a wrap that was done too tight at a previous training facility - by the trainer ! I was frustrated when I got these - ordered the hind medium which honestly should have at least fit his front but I would have had to really tighten them up way tighter than I felt was necessary or wanted to do in order to get any pad overlap let alone to get the lining pad to meet. I personally also felt the strap for the velcro was too ridged and would cause rubs. I guess if the pillow would actually cover his entire bone it would not be such an issue. My problem is that if I purchase the large then they will be too long /tall for his short cannons. I purchased the Cashel Boomer combo standing wraps ( wish SP carried them ) , less expensive , quick and fool proof for barn staff and so far very sturdy- doing the trick. Really wanted to love these Premier Equine boots , even re watched the video to see if I put them on right. They just will not work for us .

Great fit!
I really like these boots. They are tall so cover the entire lower leg. I had Back on Track boots, and I couldn't keep them on. These seem very well constructed and like they will hold up over time. The fit for my horse was perfect.

Easy to apply
I purchased these wraps (hinds only) to mainly use for trailering. I originally purchased the medium hinds for a 16h average sized Andalusian. They fit, but were a bit too snug and exchanged them for the large, which fit good. I haven't actually used them yet, but have had them on in the stall.

Super easy to put on
I have many of these - they are great. We use them for transportation and in the stalls at the horse shows where the ground is not as soft. Added bonus - one of my horses always rips Velcro and so far he has left these ones alone. Only issue is it is hard to tell the front from back unless they are lined up and the size & R/L is not marked anywhere.

easy to use
I bought this about a month ago when my retired wb came up lame with some swelling. The wraps were so easy for everyone to use and I didn't have to worry that when I couldn't there that he would be wrapped wrong. The wraps also did an awesome job supporting his leg and keeping the swelling down. I don't think he would of gotten better as fast without them. They can also be used as shipping boots so they have many uses!

Works great and easy to use
My horse strained his Deep digital tendon and this boot really helped. I used this for over two weeks while he was on stall rest, taking it on and off multiple times a day to administer the vet's prescribed treatments. I think the added support really helped my horse heal quickly and safely. The vet was very pleased with the speed of his recovery and while he is not entirely healed yet, having this boot for the initial stages was extremely helpful. It was easy to handle, stayed on securely, and cleaned up well. I highly recommend it.

Excellent wraps!
I bought these for my young horse who is on stall rest due to hock surgery. I also had surgery on my wrist the same week and needed something easy to use. The wraps were the answer. They are staying put on my horse and they are super easy to use. Also, my horse's legs don't feel overly warm even they are staying on 24/7 except for short bandage changes. I am planning on ordering the front wraps to have on hand as well.

Love these boots!
Very happy with these boots so far. I got the medium fronts for a 16.2 hand thoroughbred and they fit great. Did not slide down over night at the show, easy to clean, sturdy. My horse did not pull at them and seemed very comfortable in them.

Excellent substitute for Standing Wraps
My daughter's horse is being treated for lameness, and we were required to cold hose/ice him twice daily, and he was to wear standing wraps at all other times. Standing wraps take some practice to properly apply, and even then can be difficult to apply correctly. These wraps made it much easier for my husband and I to help out my daughter, and made the before school "treatment" go much smoother. As you can imagine, getting to the barn to do 20 minutes of ice etc before school can be a challenge, and anything that makes things go a little quicker is much appreiciated. These worked out great, and made it so that someone not well versed in applying standing wraps could easily help out with the process.

They're durable, well-made, and cool!
My horse needs to have his legs wrapped up at night with padded stable bandages/boots. In the winter, I sometimes use the Back On Track quick-wrap stable boots, but in the summer they are too hot and make his legs sweat. Pillow wraps and standing bandages are also a bit warm in the summer, and they are less convenient for the staff to put on. Plus, he doesn't necessarily need much compression. I ordered these, hoping for a well-designed but more breathable summer alternative, and I got just that!
These boots stay on well and don't slide down overnight. The inner lining and outer shell are detachable for easy washing. The velcro is nice and grippy so far. They are easy to take off and put on. Also, they are very breathable and keep the leg cool and sweat-free - a necessity, especially in Florida. They are a little bit pricey, but if they are as durable as the Premier Equine air-cooled boots I use for turnout on each of my horses, they are well worth the investment and will last a very long time.
The large stable boots fit true to size for my 16.3 medium-boned warmblood.

Easy!
Best leg wraps for shipping. It's hard to find simple wraps that provide the protection but are fast to put on. I've never been a fan of the big over the knee and hock type wraps, and these provide more protection. I love that the pillow comes away from the neoprene cover to wash easily, I will likely buy a spare pair!
