This top is made with SmartCore™ fabric, which has UPF 50 sun protection, outstanding moisture-wicking properties, and helps regulate your temperature without the need for any added chemicals. What does all of that mean for you? That you’ll be cool, dry, and protected and that you’ll have peace of mind that you’re not exposing yourself to added chemicals. Plus, since the UPF 50+ protection, moisture-wicking, and thermoregulatory power of the fabric is built right in, it won’t come out in the wash. Additionally, underarm mesh vents and a 1/4 zip give you extra airflow when you need it and a stand-up collar gives you extra protection against the sun’s harsh rays. STUNNING colors, very breathable and light!!
I LOVE these shirts and definitely plan on ordering more. I own the tailored sportsman and the R.J. sunshirts, and I honestly like these way better then tailoreds. They do NOT show sweat like tsp do. The mesh underarm is SO nice for hot weather. the fabric is light and stretchy, but not see-through! Highly recommend!!(Pictures attached) The only thing that I noticed is that the zipper could be better quality but they have held up for 4 months now(3-4 rides a week) with no issues.

Good price, cheap stitching
Bought a whole bunch of these shirts for the upcoming warm weather. They fit well and are comfortable but I have to say, I am unimpressed with the stitching quality. After only maybe 3-5 uses, my left sleeve’s stitching is coming undone. Dont think these will last long

Silly Soft & Super Breathable!
This shirt is perfect for for keeping the sun off while riding, running, or fishing and is very silky soft and breathable. I went with a medium (reg size small) for a looser and more airy fit, worked perfectly!!

Wonderful shirt
Bought this shirt as a present for my daughter and I bought one for myself. The fabric is light weight and feels good on your skin. It has a nice slim fit but not tight. The collar is just the right height and covers your neck when zipped up. I got the green ferns.It looks fabulous on and I really dont want to wear it in the barn!!

Disappointing, material snags easily
I ordered a few of these because I liked the ones I got last year, but the material the new ones are made of snags so easily. The picture shows how they held up to using a smooth seatbelt.

Good Fit, Nice Fabric
Very pleased, especially at this price. Fabric has plenty of stretch without being too clingy. Have not worn in humidity of monsoon season, but very comfy in hot Arizona sunshine. Size chart seems accurate: I'm a size 10 and medium fits great. Only wish there were more prints as they hide dirt and horse slobber.

Would have gotten 5 stars but color inaccurate
Love my Piper SmartCore shirts. Most of the time the color is really accurate from the pic. However, Sunbeam is more like creamsicle as it was definitely on the orange side especially with the orange netting under the arms. I was expected more of a mustard or gold. Still keeping it though.

nice quality, great price
I love this shirt. It has a nice feel and is comparable in quality to many higher priced shirts. I have a drawer full of sun shirts from all different makers and this Piper is really nice. It is cool on the skin and wicks moisture well, but has a substantial feel like it will hold up well over time. My only negative is that the yellow "Sunbeam" color is a bit more apricot and less sunflower than the picture shows.

Zippers Continually Break
I've bought about three of these shirts and the zipper has broken on all three within a few months. I realize these are not terribly expensive sun shirts, but you'd think the zippers would last a bit longer. All my shirts have been washed on gentle and air dried, so not sure what's causing the issue.
Would love to give this 5 stars, but can't with these quality issues.

It's "okay"
The shirt is probably Piper quality but, I returned it because I didn't care for the color. The "teal" is such a dark teal that it's almost a Forest Green. Can't speak to durability or value as a result and would recommend this only if you're looking for an everyday shirt and "green" is a good color on you.

The Sleeves are Long Enough!!!
I have had an awful time in the past with Piper shirts not having sleeves long enough for long-legged and long-armed riders... I think they are improving because these sleeves actually get to my wrists! So happy I gave their products another try after being disappointed in 2019.
