This top is made with SmartCore™ fabric, which has UPF 50 sun protection, outstanding moisture-wicking properties, and helps regulate your temperature without the need for any added chemicals. What does all of that mean for you? That you’ll be cool, dry, and protected and that you’ll have peace of mind that you’re not exposing yourself to added chemicals. Plus, since the UPF 50+ protection, moisture-wicking, and thermoregulatory power of the fabric is built right in, it won’t come out in the wash. Additionally, underarm mesh vents and a 1/4 zip give you extra airflow when you need it and a stand-up collar gives you extra protection against the sun’s harsh rays. Too Hot for Florida
Material will dry quickly, after getting wet from hosing the horse, but it is too hot for the Florida summer season. Maybe better for seasons requiring one to dress in layers. Also, the material also gets pulls rather easily, so doesn’t hold up to routine barn chores and horse care.

Amazing fabric, fit & style!
This fabric is so silky and smooth! Not only does it protect you from the sun with the SmartCore fabric but it also has amazing moisture-wicking properties to keep you cool. The Grey Horse Camo Print is a subtle and fun print that could go with multiple colors of breeches. I especially love the underarm mesh vent that adds extra breathability. I bought a size medium and think the fit is perfect. I like to wear it tucked in with a belt. I see myself wearing this 1/4 zip all year! Can't wait to purchase in other colors and prints!

So cute! Perfect sun shirt :)
I've been wanting this shirt for a while. Finally picked it up on clearance. I'm so in love with the camo print! I've gotten a bunch of compliments on it. Has the typical features of a sun shirt - lightweight stretchy material and mesh under the arms. I stay cool and comfortable. Glad I got the XS as SP shirts tend to run a little large on me and I prefer a tight fit for riding.

Comparable to TS shirt!
Loved this shirt, I have two )much more expensive) TS shirts with the “cooling” sun protection fabric and honestly this is basically the exact same thing! Rode in it for the first time yesterday for a clinic, it was a sticky humid day and this keep me comfortable and cool, will definitely be buying more!!!

Comfortable, Cool and Stylish
These shirts are a staple in my riding clothes. They are super lightweight and keep me cool. The material is comfortable and not scratchy like some other sun shirts are. Highly recommend. They are holding up great with use and washes, even the mesh.

Perfect sun shirt except for one thing
This sun shirt is very soft and comfortable compared to other higher priced brands that I've tried that were rough and scratchy. The only problem is, the mesh panels under the arms pill and look terrible only after a couple of wears. This would be the perfect sun shirt if only the mesh material were higher quality.

Very comfortable and stylish!
Wore it yesterday for the first time and felt fairly comfortable even though it was pushing 95F (at 10am). My arms and neck didn't feel like they were baking in the sun, either. The 1/4 zip makes it easy to get some ventilation and also easy to put on/take off the shirt; the light mesh under the arms helps with cooling, too. I bought the blue striped shirt (hubby calls it my "Hamburglar" shirt) and I plan to buy a few more Piper sun shirts next year.

Love these sun shirts
I love these sun shirts for summer in Hot and humid Georgia. I have recommended them to others. The fabric seems like it will last much longer than all the other sun shirts I have that get runs in them easily like panty hose. My only complaint keeping my rating from 5 stars; is the colors I have gotten are very different then the pics. The surf blue leans more to the green family then a blue and pink is different then pics too.
