Great for horses that hate flys and have one eye
My guy wears a fly mask during fly season and on windy days. I always have two available because he loves to rub his face on the ground. The masks hold up but I do tend to wash them. Hence having two available

Perfect fit
I have been buying the Cashel fly masks for several years for my Connemara mare: the Arab/cob size fits perfectly and I have found these to be durable and last several years with multiple washings. The colorful patterns make it easy to quickly identify her masks from those of our Quarter Horse, who wears the horse size.

Alway a good buy!
I pretty much alway buy crusader fly masks they just have alway lasted longer for me then other brands. This if the first time buying one with ear and my girls a very greatful for them. As the flys are horrible here.

Great fit
I've always liked the Cashel fly masks but always felt the horse size was too big on my TB. I was delighted to see they have a cob/small horse size. They fit my 16.1 average head sized gelding perfectly. It hasnt come off him yet!

Go-To Fly Mask
We all know that you're going to have to buy more than one fly mask over the course of owning a horse - but with the Cashel Crusader at least you'll be buying less of them! These masks hold up the best through daily turnout (my guy lives out 24/7 and is in his mask during the summer) and repeated washes. Eventually the velcro breaks down and the colors fade (not that your horse cares!) but that's about it. The older of my two masks is 2 years old at this point and still going strong, and the replacement I just got allowed a 4 year old mask to retire. I also appreciate that the Cashel masks have the hole for the forelock that many masks seem to be doing away with.

Some hold up for years, some don't...
I've been buying cashel masks since I was a teenager- so almost 20 years- and I still have one from 15 years ago! It has a few horse's names written on it and crossed off because it keeps on going. That being said, I bought one for my new horse last summer when there was free embroidery. It turned out beautifully but I didn't need the mask until a few weeks ago. My gelding wears it when he goes out at night with one buddy. The mask looks great (it should for only being used a few weeks!) except I'm noticing a weird problem. It is fraying right at the tip of the seam by the eyes. Not only will the holes eventually let flys in, but it has created a spot where he cannot see as well. Im hoping it was just a bad batch because I really have had good luck with this brand before now. I'm bummed because otherwise it's really pretty on him, and smartpak's embroidery is fabulous.

Love this mask!
I got this mostly to protect my Arab's sensitive ears, because they had been ravaged by gnats in the last few weeks. It fits her well, she has worn it almost every day in the last two months and has only lost it in the pasture twice. We have a sneaky gelding who pulls fly masks off, and it even stands up to him! The fit is great, the ears are nice and big even on the small horse/arab/cob size. The colors are super cute too and it all washes easily.

Great mask
I’ve always purchased Cashel masks, so when they added color it was just icing on the cake! These masks are sturdy, but have enough padding that they don’t rub sensitive faces. They fit very well, but still can be pulled of if the horse gets it caught on something.

The binding around the Velcro strap started coming apart. I’m ok with replacing a fly mask due to my horse, but I am not ok with repairing/replacing a bad product.

Fits my horse perfectly!
I bought this less than a month ago and it fits my quarter horse gelding very well! He loves to take neck blankets off other horses, but the fly mask has stayed on him every time I’ve used it. It keeps the bugs out of his ears, and I love the color/pattern.

Love Crusader fly masks
