Love Smartpak for everything!
These fly masks are the best. The only trouble was that the fastener pieces were a bit too long, so last year I had to cut them down to make them work. The ones I bought this year fixed that problem. On a regular horse size, the fasteners were just right. I had to cut it down for a pony, but on a horse, the size fastens tight without monkeying around with it!

Love the print!
I bought this for a well mannered mare who is definitely appreciating it! It fits perfect and keeps the bugs out of her ears and eyes. The print just adds a nice touch to it!

My favorite fly mask
This is my favorite fly mask and I tried a few. They fit well and are lightweight and comfortable for my horse to wear on 100+ degree weather. Love that they have new colors every season so I can distinguish between my horses.

Super cute!
I just bought this to replace my horse's old Crusader Fly Mask. I think they stay on the best of any fly masks I've tried. I love the new colors to choose from. I picked the mint pattern one and got it embroidered with my horse's name. It looks so cute!

Love the color
My horse is very good at getting his fly masks off but he haven’t managed to get this one off yet! The color is amazing and I’m sure my horse appreciates it too because that’s the only part he won’t get dirty. It’s very convenient and it’s hard to loose because of he outstanding color combinations!! Highly recommend

Have had a gazillion of these!
I was looking for the breast cancer support one because I loved having them monogrammed so they don’t get “lost”. Unfortunately, they aren’t carried by this company anymore. This one is so pretty tho.

The Perfect Fly Mask
My horse just got his 2nd Crusader fly mask after wearing his last one for 4 fly seasons. This is mask very durable and seems comfortable. The only reason he needed a new one was because he got the old one stuck on a big briar bush last year and put a tear in it, then the hole started getting bigger. It also stays on really well, over the 4 years that he has worn this mask, he has probably gotten it off less than 5 times. If it gets dirty, we throw in in the wash and it looks as good as new! This does seem to run a little large. I have a 14.3 Rocky Mountain who wears a horse sized halter on the tightest hole and the Arab mask is almost big on him.
The other horses in our barn also all have this mask and they still look new after 2 fly seasons.

Love the Colors
I have used this brand and style for many years. I love the colors and the coverage is great. However, they don't seem to last quite as long as the solid gray ones I had a few years ago. I've had four of these, and they all get a hole along the fold below the eye. I can usually get one summer out of them, before I have to toss them. The older ones lasted longer. I think they have the best coverage and are comfortable for the horses, so I continue to buy them.

arab size fit my morgan great!
I have trouble finding masks to fit my morgan mare. They tend to be too large and I end up altering the velcro straps. The arab size fit her very well and she likes it. She's had this mask before & never worn one out, but then again she's not hard on her horse clothing.

Great Looking and Great Price
Got 2 in the blue watercolor choice. Love the clearance price. I have used this model of Crusader with ears for several years now, and it is very effective at keeping bugs away from the eyes and ears. I have no idea why anyone would by a fly mask without the ear protection. I hate those little gnats that would bother their ears. No bug gets through this mask with the eye and ear protection.

Not the quality I remember
A number of years ago, I used Cashel Crusader masks for one of my previous horses, and they worked great for him. I got this one for my new horse, but unfortunately, the quality and fit is not what I remember. The material seems cheaper and more flimsy, and the velcro strap is much too long. My horse does have a somewhat difficult to fit head, to be fair. Overall, though I was disappointed and returned this item.

Favorite Fly Mask
These are far and away my favorite fly masks! They are well worth the extra money compared to some of the less expensive masks available. I think that the forelock hole makes a lot of difference in keeping the mask in place and in keeping my horse comfortable wearing it. I have an averaged sized headed Arab. I buy the horse size since it seems to put the eye darts in the right place. The chin strap does end up being long, but I just fold it over.

Great, snazzy fly mask!
I have always liked the nice design features of this mask, like the elastic by the Velcro closure, that make the fit of the mask more snug. I am also super thrilled at the fun colors that it comes in now! Also got this embroidered with my horse's name (the gray thread on the blue watercolor looks great!), which I am loving. It seems to be doing its job of keeping the flies away from his ears and eyes, too. Would definitely buy again.
