Love love love
I work with horses 6 hrs daily 6 days a week, not very good about changing into riding boots just for riding and back to paddock boots for chores and these boots are the best! They last me all day, support me and are great to ride in. 8 months later they are beaten up but still going and tight fitting. It’s like wearing a comfy pair of sneakers that you can ride in too

How Did I Go So Long Without These?
I absolutely LOVE these boots! The comfort is incredible. O can see why a person woth a high arch may have a problem getting them on, but that wasn’t a problem for me.

Love the look and feel-but some improvement needed
These boots are what you get if athletic shoes and paddock boots had a baby! So much to love-cushioning, styling, comfortable to wear all day so they get a big thumbs up from me. They do, however, run narrow and a bit small which works fine for me because I have narrow feet and I sized up. What really needs improvement is how you get these on. Even with narrow feet I have to struggle to get these on and off. This could easily be fixed by installing a zipper (pretty please Ariat) which I think would make them doable for a lot more people. If you have even slightly wide feet or high arches, I don’t think these will work for you. If you have narrow feet like me, look no further for a boot that is stylish, comfortable and can go from the barn to the town looking and feeling great!

Very comfortable paddock boots
I saw these paddock boots on ariat website and I felt in love with them immediatelly. Even if my usual horse tack dealer do not sell them, I asked him to order it extra for me. My intuition was right. I received them 2 weeks ago and it was the first time ever I put on new paddock boots and felt immediatelly very cosy in it, no need to get used to them as usual. Boots are very comfortable, well breathable, very light but still they gives you a good support of feet. Great for riding and all stable work. I bought my standard side (UK 6/EU 39) and it fit very well. I will test it for some time and if my satisfaction last, I plan to buy also the tall Ascent boots.

Too hard to get on and off
I was so excited to get these today, I went right in to try them on. It literally took fifteen minutes to get them on! That is after I abandoned the idea of wearing socks. Once on, the fit was great and I was convincing myself I could find the extra fifteen minutes somewhere, and spray them regularly since I wouldn't be able to wear socks. Then I tried to take them off! After about 12 minutes, I had a little panic, what if I have to cut them off? Then I can't return them? 27 minutes it took to work my feet out of these boots! I am an easy to fit size 7, worn Wrist boots for 20 years without any problems! Who are these made for?

I want to love them but for slimmer feet
I orderd both the tall boots and the paddock boots plus chaps but the paddocks boots were to tight over my foot. Inside nice but the top of my foot hurt. So maybe if you are slim they will fit. Inside of paddock boot felt great in size 39 and I am 39. I kept the tall boots in 40 1,5 size to big but wanted them this week so kept them and they are very comfy can’t tell I am wearing a shoe can’t feel the tall boots are on! Great new invention for athletes love the tall boots! When the paddock boots come with a less tight knit and or a zipper I will buy them too!! For slimmer feets the paddock boots will fit very comfy! I would love if you can make the paddock boots in a model they don’t push on the top of the foot, maybe a less tight knit fabric! I would buy them instantly! Or a sipper. It’s just that the knit stops my blood flowing and it hurts. The inside needs no change they are very comfy it’s just over the foot under the knit that hurts. Would buy them if the knit was looser! Also the chaps fits great no problem with them!!

Super comfy Paddock boot and half chap combo!
Just got the Ascent paddock boots and half chaps and rode in them for the first time. LOVE them! Snug and secure fit, very lightweight, and low maintenance material. I will say the slip on design might not work for everyone. My friend has a high arch and was very uncomfortable in the paddock boot. I'm a 9.5 and have always worn a 9 in Ariat because they run big but I ordered these in a 9.5 (because of the slip on aspect) and they fit perfect. Will be curious to see how these hold up over time.

Comfy but not for a rider that does more than ride
I bought these paddock boots about a month ago and they are super comfy but I have a lot of horses to work and I don’t always have time to change shoes when I have to rinse and horse off before getting on another horse and they get wet and now they smell really bad and I tried washing in vinegar but I can’t get the smell out. I leave them outside now because of it. I haven’t had this problem with any other paddock boot. I’m bummed because I really like the streamline fit but I think I’m going to trash them and just go back to a regular paddock boot

Comfortable and cute
My Ariat Nitro H20s were looking worn out, so I got these as a replacement. Super cute as a walking shoe with leggings and midi skirts as well as a light and comfortable riding boot. I walked five miles straight out of the box, very comfortable. Some people say they are hard to take on and off. I have narrow feet, so this is not an issue. And they are wide enough in the forefoot to accommodate a bunion, so for me they are perfect: comfy, stylish and practical.

I bought these boot for my daughter and she. Loves them. Comfortable and once your foot is in the stirrups they don’t move. She hasn’t had them long so I’m not sure how they will hold up over time.

This shoe is so comfortable. I am glad that the riding industry is finally looking into modernizing their shoes, comparable to the running industry. No need for hard soles that kill your feet. In these you float and can walk for miles

Great boots!
I have just worn these boots nearly every day for a whole summer at work (working on a yard 8+ hours a day). They are brilliant! I love how they are made to look like trainers but with the added bonus of being made of waterproof material so if it rains a bit, your feet stay dry! The only slight downfall with this material is that it is not very breathable so on a hot day, your feet can get a bit sweaty. But I suppose they can’t be waterproof AND breathable, its one or the other, and if I had to pick one, it would be waterproof. I was originally drawn to these because of their unconventional design and they look so unique I love them. Highly reccomend!

SIZE UP! Then they're great!
I first purchased an 8.5 as that's my size in everything I wear and they offered the half sizes. They were super tight and run small, and I was also concerned about whether they would break in like traditional leather paddock boots with the new rubber-design. They do start to break in as my right boot fits nicely, however it is still a little tighter than I would like.
Since I do truly like the boots (and love the chaps), I decided to also purchase a size 9 as I'm currently investing in some more equine gear right now anyway. They fit like a dream. There was still a little 'breaking in' period but I was comfortably walking around in them all day after some 2-point in the saddle at the walk (first day of wearing them).
Definitely recommend sizing up and definitely recommend the pair of paddock boots and chaps.

Do Not Waste Your Time
I bought these to go with my Ariat Breeze 1/2 chaps because the normal Ariat riding sneakers were too bulky to get the zipper closed! I liked the look of them in the photo but that was it! I could not get my foot through the elastic without a great deal of effort! I put them away for a day before trying again, and they were no better! I have MANY Ariat products and these boots are simply terrible! I cannot believe Ariat put their name on these! I replaced them with a pair of Ariat waterproof paddock boots with zippers and am now a happy camper!

Ariat Quality, Although Probably Size Up
I took a chance on these since I was looking for a set of paddock boots and chaps for the first time in many years and I liked the lightweight design of this set. The boots slip right on, although I will say I that I do notice that the back of the heel feels like a solid wall and not very giving (for that, I think sizing up to a 9 may have been better since I'm an 8.5). I also haven't worn paddock boots in forever so there's that. They don't seem too bad and I still plan to ride with them (testing them out later today). You definitely have a solid shoe on, have to love Ariat for their quality (and they sent me complimentary tall socks - much appreciated =) I think they'll work out just fine as I get used to them. However, since it's more rubber than leather, I am concerned that 'breaking them in' won't work well so blisters may be inevitable. At the moment, I don't think I'd plan to wear them all day at the barn - solely while riding - because of that.

Very Impressed!
After picking up horseback riding again after playing college soccer, I was looking for something that would give good ankle and foot support, and that is exactly what I found in these boots. They fit similar to a soccer cleat which may be why I enjoy them so much. Only downside is that, like every new pair of shoes, you’re gonna get blisters until they break in. With that said, 2 hours of riding made a major difference. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a reliable and comfortable boot! I bought a 7.5 knowing that Ariat runs big for me, but these fit true to size.

Blisters!!!
I bought a9.5 & 10. 10 fit very comfortably on foot overall so I kept them. Thought I’d be in love. I’ve worn them 3 times and the blisters on my heels are HUGE and very painful. I’m only wearing them to the barn, while riding, & back home. They’re awful! I’ve owned nothing but ariat paddock boots and have never had a problem. These are in their own league.

Amazing comfort

So soft under my feet.
Great bits, so light and soft, lovely to ride and walk in. Bad bits, day 3 sore heels still but has been really hot. Could maybe have gone thinner and smaller sizing but all others reviews different. Are fine just wearing in. Really alot to like.

I was lucky enough to find the one with the red at the ankle. Please take a little getting used to in the stirrup but they’re very athletic and supportive! I have challenging knees with my jumping, I have actually found that the extra support meaning more like an athletic shoe helps temper the impact over fences! The half chaps are back ordered until the end of July!!! I’ve just been wearing my tread steps with these and they look fine. These run a half size large I’m a true 9 and a 9.5 in heels for comfort and I had to order an 8 1/2! in fact all Ariat paddock boots run a half size too large!!!

Game changer
I had been riding exclusively in tall boots and with warmer weather I was looking for something more breathable. These hug your foot in all the right places, don’t get too hot and side note my riding has been way improved with them. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again in a heartbeat.

So comfortable and flexible
These are so cool. I feel like I could go for a run or hike in these after riding. They are so comfortable and flexible. They don't need the typical break-in that most boots require. They seem durable too, but I have only had them for two months. I would just say that the heel is pretty low, so if they require a rider to have an inch heel, these are not.

Order a size up
I have been riding in Ariat paddock boots for years, but this new Ascent boot is different. Without a zipper it is very hard to put on if you have a high instep like I do. I ordered a 10, my standard Ariat size, but perhaps I should have ordered a 10.5? Will they stretch over time? Unclear. The boots feel to tight to me, I have a blister on my left heel, and I have taken to putting them on right before I ride and taking them off first thing when finished. Uncomfortable boots. No way can I wear these all day.

IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ON
I have so many ariat products that I cannot even count them. I love Ariat and I was so excited for this product. The boots are beautiful but IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ON YOUR FOOT.. I really wanted to keep them so I tried to talk myself into thinking they would give for an easier put on, but in the end I decided to send them back. Fix this problem and I will get them.
