It works
Started on the supplement one month ago. One hurdle is that my horse likes it. He eats the pellets willingly. Like the label states, may take a month to see results. That is true. But now, he is less gassy, putting on some more weight, less irritable.

Great Tummy Care
I bought this product for prevention measures to help protect my mustang from forming ulcers. Since he has been on it I noticed that he isn't "girthy" anymore and it has improve his bowel movement.

Love this product!
I have been using this product on my gelding for several months now and my horse seems to be happier and more agreeable. He would kick out when you brushed around the girth area and his flanks. He also lost a lot of weight due to ulcers. Since he has been on this product he no longer kicks out, is more willing to work, gained his weight back, and seems overall happier. Will definitely keep using this product on him!

Worked Great
Had my horse on this while in training going to several multiday shows with no problems, forgot to get them from my trainer when I brought him home for turnout after a weeklong show & had problems within 2 days. Got him back on supplement & a tube of Ulcerguard and he was back to normal in a few days.

Helped two cranky horses
I started giving this to my horse as a 'let's see' if it would help. It did appear to make a big difference when we traveled. Decided to continue it at home and it did make a difference in his attitude (he's still cranky, but not nearly as bad). Started to give it to my daughter's horse that was staying with me (on a diet). Her horse had started snapping at me. There has been no snapping since I introduced UGard into his
diet.

easy to use
After a 10 day treatment of oral paste from the vet, this is so much easier to use. My horse does clean her bucket every feeding. Have seen a change in her moodiness as well.

Works for stressed horses
I have a young appendix mare that just seemed off, under weight, chewing on stalls constantly, and anxious under saddle. I've used this product before with good results so I decided to try it on her. She's been on it for approx. 5 weeks now and has gained weight, quit chewing, and is a new horse under saddle.

Great product
Using this product along with senior combo pellets has made a big difference in my horse. Before adding u guard he was sensitive in the barrel area and now he's not. I'm very pleased with the response he's had to u guard. Thanks

Finally a supplement that works!!!!
My mare is one of the most horrible crabbers you have ever seen. Collars can be dangerous so I do not use them. Two scoops of this product on a daily basis with her PM feed and she has COMPLETELY STOPPED cribbing. Love this product. She is a picky eater too, but eats this right up.

WAY better than the powder!!
Feeding this to my very sensitive mare, so along with her other SmartPaks her whole GI tract is covered. Tried the powder first and she was not at all happy about the taste! The pellets she gobbles right up along with her Smart Senior Ultra and Smart Calm Ultra!

Perfect to prevent ulcers
I am always very happy with this product. My girl had a nasty ulcer before and her mood and performance suffered horribly from it. After receiving proper vet care she is as better and ulcer free from now on. I use u-guard to make sure she stays that way.

I started using this product about a year ago and it seems to have helped my horse maintain a healthy digestive system. We have now started giving this to many of our lesson horses at our barn to prevent any stomach issues from arising. The cost is minimal compared to other options!

Worked wonders for my mare
I started my mare on this about 2 months ago. Within 3 weeks you could tell there was a difference in her! Her normally puffy belly looked normal and she was not as touchy when you tighten the cinch! Best thing I have ever done for her

This stuff is great
Bought it for my Arab on Black Friday, today is now January 12th and I have to order more now. I've only been giving her one scoop a day and I've already seen amazing results. She used to be really girthy and now she's pretty calm about it. she's in a better mood all the time too. I love this stuff, I'm putting her on it indefinitely.

U-Gard Pellets
A small group of family members found and purchased an elderly mare that was destined to slaughter. Other than needing basic care s/a dental care and food, she had abnormal bowels. I purchased a small canister of the U-Gard to see if it would help her. It took about 2 weeks but I have noticed a remarkable improvement! I plan to keep her on U-Gard for the rest of her life.

Helping our senior horse!
We have a 22 year old Tennessee Walker who has had a very hard life--we rescued her at 15 nearly starved to death--and we have always struggled to keep weight on her in the winter. We decided to try this to see if it helped and it really has. She seems to be keeping her weight up well despite the cold and lack of fresh grass.

It works!
My hard keeper gelding has lots of health issues, ulcers being one of them. He was on ulcer guard paste but I needed a more cost effective long term treatment. He is a very picky eater, but eats these pellets with no problem. So glad that this is working for him. His appetite has improved greatly.

Glad I purchased this
I had to treat my horse this summer with omeprazole and this product seems to be very supportive of gut health now that I am more informed about how important it is. Very palatable, my horse ate it up as a top dress on his grain.

Effective and works
I put my OTTB on this about a year ago, along with changing him to a senior feed, which my vet reccomended for his ulcer-y tummy as it is easier for them to digest. He had to be treated for ulcers FIRST and then put on UGuard for it to be really effective, and I still give him UlcerGuard during traveling and shows. We have not had any issues with Ulcers since we treated him and I think it is from using UGuard in his feed every day to suppress any excess stomach acid. I think for this product to have full effect, owners need to treat their horses with UlcerGuard or GastroGuard and then put them on this supplement so that their horses stomachs are actually healed or healing before putting them on the ulcer maintenance of an antacid like UGuard.

Works for my boy with ulcers!
We suspected ulcers by the horse's behavior, so we treated him with Omeprazole for three months, then put him on half dose of this UGard daily. He is one happy camper now!!! I will keep him on this for life!
