Daily Dewormer
Safe for horses of all ages and reproductive status, including foals over 2 Strongid® C 2X™ (pyrantel tartrate) is an equine anthelmintic designed to be administered on a daily basis to provide a continuous, preventive level of pyrantel in the intestinal tract. STRONGID® C 2X™ prevents migration of large strongyle larvae.
Manufacturers recommend dosing a horse with a larvacidal dewormer such as QUEST before beginning administration of a daily dewormer, to help destroy existing larvae and adult parasites. Manufacturers also recommend horses receive QUEST Plus with praziquantel in late fall to control bots and tapeworm.

Great Daily Dewormer
I have used C2X on my mare for 8 years and it has worked very well. Occasionally she will leave some pellets behind, but not very often.
Daily dewormer is one of the best reasons to have smartpak. The doses are always right and never missed!

Excellent Product
My T-bred cross was a chronic colicer. It was suggested to start him on a daily wormer after his colic surgery. Not only did it help with his digestive issues, but I believe he is healthier over all !!!

I have ALL my horses on the Strongid C2x. From my weanlings to my senior horses. I spoke with my vet and in the 5 years that I have been using this product I have had no incidences of colic and I own 10 horses.

After purchasing three miniature horses, I found they had a case of pin worms. I had wormed them with paste wormer before, but the worms continued to show in the manure. I decided that I needed to go to a daily wormer to break the cycle of the worms. Each morning I feed the daily wormer to our minis. They love it! After using a tube wormer, I started using this daily wormer. I was happy with the daily wormer because the pin worms continued to pass in the manure a few weeks after the tube wormer. It has been 4 weeks now and there are no more worms in the manure. It's so easy to feed these pellets because it tastes so good to them, and it's more of a treat.

GREAT PRODUCT
I have a mustang that has been difficult to keep weight on since I got him. I have tried many supplements and even a very heavy worming regiment, somthings would work temporarialy, but he would always drop weight again after time. After being on the Strongid C2X, he has gained a lot of weight and is maintaining it! This is a wonderful product and a great value for the $!

Every horse should be on it!
It is a MUST use product. My horses utilize their food more effeciently, have a shiny hair coat and wonderful natural muscling. Their overall health is exceptional....less colics, muscle soreness and so on. Buy it you'll love it!

Key factor in colt care
I rescued a young colt and while with regular worming and good feed he was steadily putting on weight, his coat continued to be shabby. Every time we neared 5 weeks after his rotational worming he would start losing patches of hair. He just couldn't fight off the worms like the older, healthier horses. I started him on strongid C2x after a rotational worming with equimax. After 8 weeks his coat was filled in, glossy, and fabulous and he continued to put on weight. During a period when he was off C2x for 3 weeks he started losing patches of hair again. Within a week of being back on C2x he's doing much better. Under vet recommendation and my own use he will continue to be on C2x for minimum of a year (and much longer if under my care).

A Boost for My Horse

Very good product

Strongid does an excellent job as a daily wormer. I give all my horses (3) Strongid and I have always been pleased. Their weight and health are excellent. By feeding a daily wormer, I know I am helping my horses toward good health as well as giving myself peace of mind that I am taking the proper steps towards their well being.

Love IT!!
I would not go thru the show season with out Strongid Daily Wormer. The daily protection helps him perform his best and feel good daily. Because it is in my SmartPak I never have to worry about a deworming schedule or if I remembered to give it to my horse.

Healthy Choice
This product has put an end to worry about parasites! The horses are in great condition, it's easy to feed and in the long run, cost effective. We stared using Strongid when our Straight Egyptian Arabian Filly coliced and the vet recommended we start on a daily wormer. No problems since!

Works great at Rental Facility
My horse has been at a rental barn since I got him over ten years ago, and everyone has their own system for worming, if any. With limited pasture, I feel that continuous exposure to potential worms makes it well worth my while to daily worm. I get a fecal egg count about every year only to prove to others that it is effective, although my horse has always been healthy and shiny and has never shown any "wormy" look. My vet recommends it too for others in my situation who will follow the protocol. (daily use religiously and twice a year paste worming) Check out the Strongid Preventicare Program through your vet for extra insurance.

Strongid C2X is a condensed (The amount is smaller in size.) form of Strongid C. So, it's easy to put this dewormer into a small sandwich bag at your barn, to be added to the morning feed. I give it in addition to the regular paste dewormers as added insurance against parasites. I feel that the additional protection would justify much higher cost and inconvenience; but, because Strongid C2X is not expensive, is easily available and easy to feed, I can see no reason not to give it to my horse.

Because my trainer says so
My Hannoverian hunter is fully insured, and a relatively huge investment. Whatever we need to do to keep him healthy, we do. My other three horses deserve the best I can do for them, so they also get Strongid C2X. I'll let you know in another year how it's working for them. They are, generally, less robust and shiny ;-)

Excellent product and my horse actually eats it. I have never had an issue with colic due to worms using this product and feel that being in a boarding barn my horse is protected. I do recommend this product and have used it for years.
