So far not helping soft soles
I have a mare with soft soles that has just started this spring and wanted to try and help with a supplement. She’s been on this for about a month now and I have not noticed any difference in her soles getting any harder yet so I plan to try one more month on this and also adding next month smart hoof ultra along with it next month to help! Hopefully this will help!
She is a picky eater and has no issues eating this!
The smell is like a grassy hay smell so no weird smells that’s good too!

Not for sensitive bellies!
Smart lamina
I bought this and started my mare on this. 3 days on it and she ended up colicing the 3rd day :( not sure if was weather changes going on or this supplement but this was the only new thing that was different and I’ve had her for over ten years and she’s never coliced once just to be safe I took her off immediately she is great now. I think the ingredients are too much for her sensitive stomach. But smartpaks help line was great refunded me back and was extremely helpful as always! Just be aware if your horse has a sensitive belly is my advice!

LIFE SAVER
My lamanitic boy was having a lot of problems.. Soft feet, long hair, moody, back/hip pain; when diet change and shoeing change didn't fully fix his feet/pain issues I went straight to SmartPak! I heard the combination of SmartLamina with Smart and Simple Chasteberry pellets is a MIRACLE mixture for lamanitic horses.. Boy were they right! He is growing much better and more evenly, his feet are no longer soft and the pains he was having in his backend are gone! He is back into normal work!

Good results but not great flavor
I ought this when my horse - who has lived his whole life on pasture with an open barn- experienced founder for the first time. The ingredients are first rate and I very much hoped he would eat it, but he absolutely refused, no matter how I tried to disguise it. I continued to try to get him used to it, and was finally successful adding just one pellet a day until eventually he was eating the full dose, but this took a long time and by the time he was eating a therapeutic amount of it he had mostly recovered from the founder. Still, since he had a genetic predisposition to metabolic syndrome .I intend to keep feeding this to him - along with Smart Metabo-lean (which he liked the flavor of right away), especially around the time of year when the green shoots are all sprouting all over the pasture.

Hoping for positive results
My horse suffered a bout of pasture laminitis recently. I purchase the supplement on the recommendation of my farrier. Hoping that using a muzzle purchase from SmartPak, and the supplement will help her mend and stay healthy.

Smart Choice
There is no such thing as a placebo effect with horses. This supplement made such an obvious difference in a horse with chronic hoof issues, that it was impossible to ignore. Not only are her laminitis issues less frequent, her overall comfort has been greatly improved. She no longer "tip toes" across the pavement and gravel.

A Life Saver

Truly remarkable!
Our 18 year old quarter horse gelding was diagnosed with Equine Metabolic Syndrome and Laminitis three months ago. He has been on SmartLamina and SmartMetabo-Lean for 8 weeks now and we have seen remarkable improvement in both his laminitis recovery and weight control. He is no longer laying around all day due to pain in his feet and can walk with a normal, comfortable stride. We couldn't be more pleased with both of these supplements! This product is expensive, but seeing the progress he has made makes it worth it, no question. I can give up eating out once a week to afford his comfort and health.

Life Saver!
My gelding has been on SmartLamina for over 8 months and to be honest it saved his life. He is serverly metabolic and had a founder episode back in July of 2017. All the vets at the hospital firmly believe the only reason he is alive and didn’t rotate severe is due to this supplement. It has made a huge improvement in his hoof health and the farrier can see the improvement with every shoeing. I swear by this product because it saved my geldings life. If I wouldn’t have started him when I did I probably wouldn’t have my beautiful gelding.

Lamina Pellets
I have been using this product for about 2 months now on my two minis. Along with diet, exercise and limited grass turnout they are doing well. One of the minis is a finicky eater. She usually eats it with no problem.

Amazing Results
My 29-year-old pony is in the beginning stages of developing Cushing's and had a really hard time shedding out this year after a really cold winter. I put her on this stuff and noticed a difference in less than a week! She dropped her crusty winter coat faster than ever and the new hair that grew back looked beautiful and healthy. She looks at least 5 years younger. I highly recommend this to anyone with an older horse or pony! It's worth every penny.

Great product
I have been using this since late May and I added Metabo-Lean last month. Miniature Mare was a little sore in front from spring grass, I assumed. Also developed a slight crest on her neckline. Here I am 2 months later and the crest is gone! And she is trotting out with nice length of stride. I have kept her on dry lot with grassy hay during this time also, but I am very pleased with these results. I will keep this combination going.

Awesome product!
Just finishing up the second month of SmartLamina on my draft cross gelding who has had on and off lameness (with no obvious cause) and hoof issues for quite a while, including laminitis flare-ups....he was having lameness again this spring so I started him on SmartLamina and he hasn't taken a bad step since being on this product! I am so glad I started him on this and will definitely continue to use it for him!

Very palatable supplement
My laminitic mare (one front foot) is holding her own after a month on Smart Lamina and extensive veterinary and farrier attention. It will be a long time until we can declare complete success, but who wouldn't want to try everything?! She gobbles this up and the farrier is pleased with her hoof progress.

Lamina Pellets
I bought a month supply for trial purposes for a one of my horses. I am using the circulation pellets and the hoofs were not healing. So I added this too. I am so happy I did. Within 2-3 wks I notice a BIG BIG difference in his hoofs. The frog has came back full and healthy and the hoof has a healthier base.
