Rated 5 out of 5 by Mfsm2001 from Excellent results for my mini I’ve been feeding this right at 6 weeks. My 28 year old laminitis mini has been painful to trim for some time. Vet had him on daily bute and that helped keep him standing but still hurt to trim. My farrier told me of one of the weight loss drugs (vet told me it was $600/month). I decided to try this even tho it is pricey it is does not break the bank. Mainly since I’ve now reduced him to one scoop a day (instead of two - which he would not eat without adding something like applesauce). He was trimmed a week ago (on a 5 wjk cycle) and stood nicely and pain free while being handled. Hooves also quit their accelerated growth and look normal now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RARA1234 from AMAZING I got this because my vet told me to- my horses insulin was pretty high, and even though he was a working sport horse, he was easily 200 or so pounds overweight. After about 2 months of being on this, you can actually see his ribs for the first time in I don't know how long. He's finally back to a great weight and feeling good. Isn't in a muzzle anymore and we even bumped up his grain just a tiny bit. Well worth the money...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy horse owner from Works for insulin resistance! This has been the only product I've found to really help with my easy keeper insulin resistance. Thought maybe it was my imagination and took him off it but fat pads and cresty neck came back in a couple weeks. Put him back on it and cresty neck went down and fat pads disappeared despite being on same diet and exercise routine. This was recommended by my vet and I wish it were less pricey but it does work so for now I will keep using it. A more affordable option would be very welcome though.
