So easy to use!
Bought this for a horse on stall rest after trying the Calm Ultra. The regular Calm worked better for him. He has settled in and accepted the new routine.

Works as described
I purchased Smart Calm after discussing my TB mare's anxiety with a SmartPak staff member. After approximately 2 months, I noticed a considerable difference in my mare's anxiety & she has become much more focused during training without becoming dull. We are making much better progesss towards our goals now.

My mare is so much more focused!
I used to color code my rides on a calendar with green for "good" days and red for days when I didn't feel comfortable doing more than walk/trot because my mare was too distracted, quick, or sassy. She was generally pretty good, but there were enough of those red days to make it frustrating and challenge my confidence. I started her on SmartCalm a few months ago and I have not had a single "red" day since then!!

I've had both my spooky gelding and my mare on these pellets for 2 months now and they truly help. My gelding was so spooky and just getting him out of his paddock was a fight. He is now a calmer focused guy who is interested in what's going on around him instead of running for his life. My mare is more focused in her training and seems more balanced in her attitude. I would highly recommend these pellets. Thank you smartpak.

Great resilts
I don't have an indoor arena . My horse gets "cabin fever" when he doesn't get out for a couple days due to windy frigid temperatures! Smart calm helps him settle until I can get him out to stretch

Difficult review due to weather conditions
I purchased for a new mare I have but we are experiencing a brutal winter so no riding is possible right now. My hope is that it will take the edge off when when get some trail riding experience.

Picky eater approval
I bought this over 2 months ago and am so glad I did. My nervous TB, Gracie, is now able to focus and is more calm. This will be a forever supplement in Gracie's daily regiment!

Excellent results!
I have a mare that was anxious and difficult in most situations, and this year became so herd bound I couldn't bring her in alone without a battle. I started SmartCalm Dec.1st and within two weeks I could see a big difference. I plan to continue the supplement until she completely responds with a calm and giving attitude.

Just didn't work for my horse
Overall I am a huge SmartPak fan, however I saw no calming effects with my horse after several months on this product. However, I don't doubt that it doesn't work on most horses.

Saw no difference
I have a spooky, slightly anxious Welsh pony. I had him on this supplement for 2 months, along with Smarthoof for his brittle feet. I saw no difference in his temperment unfortunately. It may work for your horse, but it didn't for mine.

Just not enough of what he needed
I bought this in the bucket to try before going with a smart pak. He loved the taste and would eat it like a treat. However, it just did not have the effect that was needed. I have had great success with magnesium products. This guy however is needing a bit more so I am going one step up with a supplement with Valerian included. If that does not work then I will re-evaluate and go from there. This is a new horse and he was recently uprooted from his home of 15 years and three homes later he is with me in a course of 8 months. So trying the supplement route just to help him calm down a bit to where he can focus on what I am asking him to do. I did like what I did see and form previous experience, he just needs a bit more.

Have noticed a difference- more focused
Since being on this, my mare has been able to focus more. In the ring and on trail, she would get distracted and tense up, but now I'm able to ride her and keep her focused and more relax.

It works for me!
My horse now is listening to me in the arena, rather than being anxious to return to the pasture and his buddies. His demure changed, and he is once again a pleasure to ride.

Helps nervous horses focus
I got this and use occasionally on horses I have in training that I'm introducing to new places, such as one that's scared of the trailer, really sensitive horoses first ride, first show for a young one. Seems to take the edge off enough that they can think more. I've not used other calmers or used it alot. Normally I'd like to train without but sometimes they have to go at a faster paces than that allows. So far they all eat the pellets no problem.

I can't really make a good review on this product yet; as my KMH has been on this for only about 30 days. I do not notice much of a difference but it also states some horses take longer to respond to the supplement.

Very Satisfied!
I've been giving my mare SmartCalm and MareMagic for about two months now and WOW what a difference it has made! When I got her, she was absolutely nuts. She is a very sweet girl but very spooky and nervous, and each ride used to start with a little dance of bucking and head tossing. Two months later she is a completely different horse. While I know part of her change in attitude is due to getting settled in to her new home and some good training, I couldn't have done it without the help of these awesome supplements! Our rides are now enjoyable, relaxed, and free of any attitude or bucking :) I would highly recommend SmartCalm to anyone with a difficult or nervous horse.

SmartCalm Pellets
I have a 10 year old Quarter horse mare and she has been on Smartcalm for 2 months. I noticed the change early on she is more focused and so much less spooky. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for help. I might add that I am a timid rider and that whenever she would spook it would unnerve me so I would not ride as much. We are now enjoying our best year ever riding 3-4 times a week. Thank you for this product!
