Great Product!
I bought this about a year ago. My husband was sure we were wasting your money until we took on boarders that were not on this. Not only are there far less flies on our horses but the horse stalls and pasture with the boarders have massive flies on manure but our stalls and manure in the pasture have very few, if any, again great product!

Wasn't effective in our area
I gave this product an entire fly season before I made a decision to cancel it. I wish I could say I saw a significant difference, but I didn't. I had one horse on the product and one horse not. I didn't see any reduction in flies landing on or biting my horse while on this product. However, I will caveat that we live in an area where deer flies, mosquitos, and horse flies are overabundant. I have yet to find a single insect repellent or deterrent that makes any difference. I did continue this SmartPak through the winter and saw that the Omega Fatty Acids added a bit of bloom, so I liked that about this SmartPak. In milder climates or areas without an influx of biting insects, this product might be helpful.

My horse has been on this product for about a month and a half but it is hard to say at this point if it works since we have have colder than normal temperatures and very low fly problem. This is the last month for the bugoff so will have to wait until next yer to see for sure how well it works.

Great Product!!!
My horse was on this for almost a year and the farm he is on was utilizing another product, so we stopped this product for 3 months. He became lumpy from the allergy to the bites, I started him back on the "Bug Off" and he is no longer lumpy, thank you!!! I wish I would have taken photos to show the difference with and without it was significant...

I like the idea of adjusting the mix w/ the season
I was a little late in starting this for bug season - my mare was bitten up and feeling the itch of flies, ticks and gnats. Since she has been on it, things have improved. My vet also recommended adding an equal amount of Avon Skin So Soft to her fly repellent and having her wear a fly sheet during dusk and dawn hours. She is looking much better and seems happier. When bug season is over, I know that her supplement will adjust to her needs and then switch back when the bugs come back next year. After a year, I may be able to confidently bump the rating to 5 stars.

It's working for me in NH
My haflinger mare has had severe allergies ever since I got her 4 years ago. She winds up on antihistamines and prednisone every summer but was still itchy with blankets, mask, spray, etc... Added Smart Bug Off this year and so far have not needed prednisone and she is comfortable and looks lovely. I am very happy with the results of using this product.

Product has a surprize
While the Bug-0ff seems to be offering my horses some relief, I think my horses need to complete a 2nd month. My real surprise was much the product improved their coats. My horses are so shiney. They look great.

Easy to use and they work!!
My horse has been on this product about a month now and seems so much happier and less agitated with the flies. His eyes were always runny in the Summer months , but they have remained clear and I do believe it's from using Smart Pak Bug Off Ultra Pellets!

So far so good!
I started this during bug season so I can only speak for the Bug Off Ultra right now. My horse was having issues with bugs and hives and after starting this program she has stopped having hives and her skin and coat are improving so much. I love that there is MSM added to the Bug Off and the ingredients aren't harmful to the horse. I can't wait to see how much better her coat will be next year after a winter of the Omega and E.The price is pretty good considering all you're getting and the discount from the Equinox program is nice to have.

SMELLS GREAT!
MY 3 LOVE THIS PRODUCT, AND I DO THINK IT HELPS WITH PASTURE PESTS. IT DOES NOT REPEL THE FOREST FLIES, STILL NEED FLY SPRAY AND A GOOD WHISK.

Great Product!!
At first, I didn't think this was working very well and almost stopped using the Equinox 365, however, as of May 2017, I noticed the flies weren't biting my old boy as much. Is June, it seems the fly population on him had decreased even more. His sheath and inside ears were always being bit up horribly and flies seems to bug around his eyes in prior years. Now it's July 2017 and he has, maybe, 3-5 flies on him at any given time and his ears and sheath are not being bit up at all!!!! It's pretty amazing stuff. I also noticed a decreased in the fly population. I don't know if the Equinox prevents flies from laying eggs or if it the natural ingredients, like garlic, kill it. Whatever it is, IT WORKS GREAT!!! He gets one 1 oz container each evening. It seems to take about 3 months, which is the norm for most products, but it's fabulous! My farrier is going to buy this stuff to try it out also!

Seems to be working well!
Flies are bad this year and needed to find my horse relief. I've been feeding my horse these and he has no issues eating it dispute the garlic smell to it.

It works!
Smartbug-off pellets are working for my horse. They took 30 days to kick in but now my horse is practically free from the irritating flies that were previously chewing her up alive!

Great value!
So far so good! I like that this product includes an omega3 along with the herbal fly deterrents. The price can't be beat and I think it is significantly helping my horse with the flies.

Mane and tail are growing back!
When we acquired this horse in March, he had a huge bald patch on his tail and a gap in his mane from scratching because of the midges that followed him everywhere. One month on SmartBug-Off Ultra and the hair is growing back beautifully, but the BEST result is there's is no longer a cloud of midges surrounding him.

Well worth the money!
No gimmick here, I used half the fly spray last summer as the previous year and I definitely had no kick outs under saddle like before. This product is the only feed through I have had luck with and I highly recommend it!

Really Works!
my chestnut gelding is extremely allergic to insect bites. Every year he gets sidelined due to welts from bites. Of the three horses in the field he seems to be a magnet for biting insects attracting far more than his pasture mates - we use sprays and fly sheets and wraps but it has been a losing battle. SmartBug-Off Ultra is a game changer. This product seems to bridge the gap between external and internal fly control. I still see the pesky flies ... BUT they are more evenly distributed between the horses and this is his first year without welts (so far - not a single one). I wasn't certain that my horse would eat it (it is smelly) but he has no problem with it

Great product
My guy is severely allergic to fly bite and gets giant welts all over , he uses a fly sheet but when the weather gets to hot it makes him sweat. So I decided to try equinox as an alternative and so far its been working great , only down fall because of the garlic taste it took him a while to start eating it.
