Seems to work!
I have fed this for about a month now. It really does seem to work. The horse eats it readily. I really notice it when I hand graze him in the sun, and he doesn't have any flies on him
No fly spray either!

The horses eagerly eat
I have had my horses on this for about 6 wks now. They gobble it right up with their feed. And the fly repellent advantages are obvious. Plus the pre-measured packets are super convenient!

Useless product
I hoped this would work since my mare is allergic to fly sprays containing pyrethrins, but alas she was still plagued by insects of all sorts. And she didn't like the taste of the pellets.

Meh, didn't notice a difference
Switched to this after the Leg Up Bug Defense did nothing. This also seemed to make zero difference in the amount of flies on my horse. Granted 2019 was a bad year for flies, but my farm also uses fly predators, so if this worked I would think it would've been noticeable. Should've saved my money for more Endure fly spray.

Works pretty well
I bought this for my gelding in the start of the summer. There has been a DRASTIC change in the amount of flies around him! No more horse flies, stable flies, and even the gnats have gone down! No one method will take them all away, but this definitely puts a huge dent in them when fed consistently.

Cures Hives From Flies!
Every year when the bugs come out, my horse gets really bad hives. I have been using this product for the past 3 summers and it immediately cures her hives. I will continue to use this product each year as I notice a big difference with the hives. I don't notice flies not landing on her, but it definitely helps her body handle in the heat and throughout fly season.

Happy horses!
I started using this in the early spring, haven’t had any horseflies or other “big” biting flies on my horse all summer! There were still some regular stable flies. Another plus is it seems to prevent bot flies from laying their eggs on the horse. 1 was on Bug Off all season, another just started in August after I added him to my crew. No bot eggs on the one who started in the spring!

I added this supplement to my SmartPak this summer and really didn’t see any positive results. In fact, my horse has 3 bug bites that turned into small granulomas, which has never happened before. The bugs have been horrible here in Georgia this year and I was hopeful this product would work. Sadly it didn’t help at all. Oddly, my horse was leaving some supplements in her feed bin after adding the BugOff to the supplement tray.

Didn’t work sadly but smart pak totally helped me
I bought this two months ago and tried to give it time to work but sadly it didn’t and he was still eaten alive. I emailed with smartpak and I got a refund for the two that had shipped. I believe that the supplement works for many people- it works amazing on my trainers horse- but it just didn’t with mine. Very happy with how smartpak handled my problem

Works pretty good

Didn’t work for me? :(
I loved how quickly my order came and the fact that the product was packaged in daily amounts. It’s so handy to grab and go each day. My horse seemed to enjoy the flavor and had no trouble feeding the product. I tried this product on my mare for a month. I did not see any improvements. She still had horse flies, chiggars, ticks, etc on her. She actually had so many insect bites that her cheeks are bald from all the itching and scratching. :( Still looking for a good product to get rid of these bugs!

Works fast!!
Just started my gelding on this a week ago, within three days notice he was much happier (less stomping and tail swishing) and by the end of the week could not find a bug on him when they were swarming other horses nearby. Very pleased!!

Easy to feed, not sticky!
I have fed my horses garlic for 20+ years to help deter mosquitoes mainly, but also flies and ticks. While they love the flavor, the powder makes a sticky mess. These pellets don't make a mess and they eat them with no issues.

It actually works!
I have a dun quarter horse who the flies mob! It's like they fly past all other horses to zone in on him. This supplement actually makes a noticeable difference when no other fly sprays spot treatments or supplements have.

Love the smell!
This is my horse, Spartan's first summer in Florida and the flies are worse than he's ever experienced coming from Maryland. The heat and the flies together are a terrible combination. I decided to try this after reading all of the reviews and the fact that it has the extra Equinox 365 attached for cheaper than the other. I have tried this product for 2 months now and it hasn't shown great results. My horse may have slightly less flies than his barn mates but not enough to keep purchasing this. I decided to switch to a different supplement hoping for better results. However, I will say I love the smell of this supplement and my horse eats it without a problem! I just wish it worked better for my horse.

Well tickle me impressed!
First off, this supplement is shockingly palatable! My super picky mule eats it right up. While it took a solid 2-3 months to start working for my girl, she is significantly less bothered by flies than she was in early spring. And the flies find her irresistible. I still use fly spray and a fly sheet (she gets a couple day break here and there to prevent rubs), but I'm cautiously optimistic that I won't have to use a fly sheet at all come July when it gets unbearably hot in Texas. Overall, I'm really happy with the SmartBug-Off! Marshmallow is too :)

Great Product!
I bought this about a year ago. My husband was sure we were wasting your money until we took on boarders that were not on this. Not only are there far less flies on our horses but the horse stalls and pasture with the boarders have massive flies on manure but our stalls and manure in the pasture have very few, if any, again great product!
