Works amazing!
I’ve tried everything and it just didn’t help. My mare had a trachea scrape after a rough bout of strangles and she roared and coughed during excessive exercise. I noticed after 2 weeks of starting her cough wasn’t there. It has now been 3 months and she doesn’t sound like a freight train running up behind you. Her cough has completely disappeared and her roar is so much quieter. People were asking at a show what I put her on that’s working. I’m so excited I finally found something that works after 2 long years of struggling!

Works for us
This helped with a cough my pony had consistently. She’s been on this for about 3 months and I don’t notice any breathing issues or coughing anymore. Works great for us!

Did not work for my horse. Caused inflammation.
I purchased Smart Breathe Ultra a month ago, hoping to replace another more expensive product. My horse has COPD/asthma and is prone to laminitis. Not only did this product do nothing to help his breathing, it caused inflammation and cellulitis in his hind legs. Now he is on Bute and anti-inflammatories to reduce the swelling. With all the good reviews, I was very hopeful - but it definitely didn't work for him. Sorry SmartPak.

Worse, not better. $120 and nothing to show for it
I bought this at the recommendation of my vet to feed DHA to help with my 4yo mare's cough that cetirizine isn't helping. It made things worse? Or maybe loosened things up? Her cough went from dry to wet, but wasn't productive. Then she started to wheeze with exercise. We gave it the full 56 days in the tub, and we're about where we started, if not a little worse.
We even moved her to an outdoor run and started rinsing her hay at the same time we started Breathe Ultra. 🤷🏼♀️

Works great for our guy
I purchased this a few weeks ago, so far our rescue that has southeast pasture induced asthma has responded GREAT to this. We have been pulling him off the pasture during the day when his breathing gets strained, he eats all of this in his morning grass balancer. So far we have NOT needed to use steroids for his breathing whereas in the past couple years we had to do steroids every few weeks for some relief. We did try the nasal inhaler and it worked for the 12 days of dosing but as soon as we stopped it reverted back to breathing issues. It does not matter if we never ride this horse again but it is very important he can live a comfortable life as a horse. The only downside is the price, it is doable and if it works he will sray on it forever.
The schedule that seems to work for our rescue, zyrtec, smart breathe ultra and grass balancer in the AM, gastrogard and zyrtec in his PM food. He is stalled during the day with fans and hosed off prior to going into his stall, and turned out at night on pasture.

Formula Changed?
Initially, this product worked great for my haflinger with sever COPD/Heaves; however, it seems that SmartPak changed an ingredient. It now smells strongly like bananas, and the pony will no longer eat it. So, I'm only giving this "newer" version two stars. No sense in buying it if they won't eat it.

It did not work for us
I used this product for several months for my horse in addition to spirulina tablets. Unfortunately I did not get the results that I was expecting. I will be working with my vet to place my horse back on a prescription instead. I was hoping this would work out for us and it did not.

Amazing Supplement
I bought this product after my horse was diagnosed with equine asthma, the ingredients are so helpful for his breathing. It gives me comfort that he has not had a flare up and is comfortable while taking this supplement
