Vitamin E has many benefits
I first tried Vitamin E at the suggestion of my veterinarian after my Thoroughbred mare tied up. She said it would help her muscles recover. Thankfully it was a mild episode and she had not permanent damage, but while on the Vitamin E I noticed her gait to be freer than ever before. I decided to keep her on it long term. My new horse has been growing rapidly and had sore muscles periodically. I put him on these Vitamin E pellets and he does seem to be doing better. It's one of those supplements that can only help.

Neurologic issues resolved with using this!
Long story short. My horse was misdiagnosed with Wobblers in 2013, and since I could not afford anything other than high dose vitamin E (10,000IU) for 6 months. She improved drastically (tests normal now - no residual effects). I had her blood tested before supplementing and it was in the lowest end of normal, but that was after moving barns and having her feed increased. I have her on a maintenance dose of 2500IU/day Smartpak with 500IU vitamin E in her feed so total 3000IU. I have a biology degree and researched EVERYTHING I could get my hands on. Including studies in humans about vitamin E deficiencies. My horse mirrored most of the problems humans have symptomatically. I think she may have a genetic issue with metabolizing vitamin E, if the test ever comes available I will test her. I tried to stop supplements last summer because she was out on green pasture, her symptoms started back with a lot of hind end stumbling and hoof dragging. I will not take her off of this product.

picky eater gives this one a " one hoof up"
I'm always afraid that a new product will find it's way into the "supplement graveyard" but this time it seems to be Picky Mare Approved.
Do know if it actually is doing anything quite yet as it's too soon to tell. There isn't much (days supply) in the container, so for the price I'm a little disappointed, (still it's better than throwing it away.

Excellent Product!
My horse requires high levels of a Vitamin E supplement. For a long time I have used different brands of Vitamin E in a powder form. My horse didn't eat all the powder supplements in his feed so I wasted a lot of money. Thank you SmartPak for making a high level Vitamin E in this pellet form. My horse loves it and eats it all so I'm not wasting product or my money and he gets what he needs! Highly recommend!

My picky eater likes it
I have tried several other vitamin e supplements but they didn't do much good because she refused to eat any of her grain if it was in there. This one however it took a few days and then she gave me no problems eatting it up.

Concentrated formula means my horse eats it!
My horse is a picky eater and when I introduced this to her on its own she wasn't very enthusiastic about it. Thankfully, the dosage is small so it blends well with some hay pellets and she eats it all! I originally started this supplement to support my horse's immune system and help with allergy symptoms. I am not yet sure how much of an impact this is having in that respect, but she is showing improved skin and hair coat!

Perfect dosage
Comes in nice pelleted form, my horse has no complaints and I'm happy! Little bit expensive, though. I was previously buying human vit E and counting out capsules -- much cheaper. I would go back to that if accuracy wasn't less of a concern.

Worked great
My horse was diagnosed with severe vitamin e deficiency. His muscles were really tight and locked up and would not let me on his back. Vet prescribe this for 6-8 weeks. He now us doing great and moving better than he ever did.

Purchased to boost immunity
Our gelding was diagnosed with EPM and along with the prescription medication it was recommended that we add Vitamin E to his diet. As our gelding has limited access to fresh pasture, we added Vitamin E to our Smartpak order and we are very pleased that he is back to himself now that he has finished his meds. We will continue to provide Vitamin E for life, to ensure his immunity stays strong.

No more stumbles!
I've had my horse on the vitamin e supplement for a month now and I've seen some improvement! For the last year he has had a problem where his knee didn't seem to lock and his hand end would just give out. After some research and a few recommendations I decided to try vitamin e due to my ottb not having very much grass while I am at school (which is when this problem was worse) and so far I am very pleased! I have jumped him again and he hasn't had any issues! I was so afraid I would have to retire him due to no explaination for his limbs not functioning properly. I am looking forward to seeing if this helps him and allows us to get back to eventing.

Very tasty to the horse
My horse was treated for EPM and therefore must take Vitamin E for the rest of his life....and would not eat the granulated forms. He loves your pellets...this is my second order and I never again will have to worry about his getting the proper amount.

My vet recommended vitamin e
My vet recently evaluated my mare and said that she was muscle bound. He recommended that I start her on vitamin e to help with this. I don't know if I can attribute this all just from her new supplement. She's been taking it for a few months now and I've got to say she is much nicer. Her attitude has even changed.

Helped my horse's overall soundness
My horse exhibited a falling out behavior in the hind end for several months. We x-rayed, injected, flexed, blocked and tried NSAIDs with no change. Finally a friend suggested I try Vitamin E since it worked with her horse that has shivers. About two weeks after I started this supplement, the falling out/tripping behavior stopped entirely. My horse also seems to have better overall health with reduced runny nose and no more coughing.
Just when I thought that it could have been a coincidence that the Vitamin E ceased the weird behavior under saddle, his SmartPak ran out. A week without the supplement and the behavior returned... so now he will live on this!

Waste of money
I fed the powder form with success but this pelleted product is simply inferior. I've spoke to people at Smartpak about my concerns and although everything was 'sent for review' I still feel like I've wasted my money on 10 buckets of this product. The enclosed scoop (11cc) does not contain the recommended serving amount (15g). I've measured and weighed this product on multiple scales and it just doesn't add up. Complete waste.

My Horse loves the taste.
I started using this product because my horse was low on Vitamin E. She eats it right up when mixed in her grain. I haven't had her blood retested yet. So I don't know how much her Vitamin E level has risen.

I bought this just before the first snowfall since my handsome guy wouldn't be getting vitamin e from green grass. He tends to cross fire and I had a hard time keeping weight on him. Since he's been on this product and cool calories he doesn't cross fire anymore and has packed on the pounds and muscles.

Definitely Helps
I have used Vitamin E for my pony gelding during the winter because there is no grass and also the rest of the year when we are training. I find that he recovers from training much quicker with the vitamin e supplement.

Great value
I bought this product after checking into several other Vitamin E products. This one has a higher level of Vitamin E per serving than the other brands. I also like that it comes in Pellets. My horse doesn't have any problems with the taste. She eats it right up!
