So easy!
I started my 34 year old gelding on vitamin E and he seems to be gaining muscle again. I really like how easy the smart paks are to use.

Vitamin E Pellets by SmartPak
Love this product! Easy to use and auto ship is very convenient. My horse loves this product too! And eats it all up with her other grain supplements. Her vet recommended SmartPak as a great way to provide my horse with the needed Vitamin E. I can feel the difference in my mare's overall condition as under saddle she feels much more balanced, stable and willing to perform. She has much more energy and stamina. I'm very pleased to see the improvement in her muscles and confirmation.

Good product
I bought this because my vet suggested I start my horse on a Vitamin E supplement for chronic tying up. I don't know how well its working because I haven't had him on it for very long. But, he does eat it happily, the price was good, and it's easy to administer.

easy feed, no mis measuring!
My vet did a blood test on my mare for vita e and selenium. the test indicated the vita e was low so we put her on the vita e pellets and will be checking her again after 2 months. I can already see a difference! She was getting ALOT of feed and not showing it. She still has been getting ALOT of feed but I can tell she is wearing it not just burning it up somewhere! After testing again at the time allotement recommending by my vet I am thinking that we will stay on the vita e and reduce the amount of feed. (that is my guess) we shall see. My mare likes this stuff too. yum yum.

Preferred the grainy Vitamin E
I was getting the vitamin E for my horse Jac in the grainy version (not pellets). I'd preferred it that way because I was dividing the dose in two between his AM and PM feeding. The pellets are more difficult to divide in two feedings.

Essential
I strongly the SmartPak Vitamin E supplements have helped to make rapid improvement in his recovery from EPM. It is definitely on my go to list of supplements for an older horse.

horse that tied up
The vet wanted my thoroughbred on vitamin E supplementation after a bad case of tying up. I choose this brand because it has the natural E that I wanted. I doubled the maintenance dose and added a double maintenance dose of the SmartPak E and selenium (levels coordinated with the vet). He was on vitamin E injections and periodic blood work will tell if this supplement combination maintains the E levels or if a higher level of E is needed. Both products were available as pellets which I prefer. So far he likes the taste and eats all of it.

Vitamin E pellets
I have used the powder version in the past and thought I would try pellets. Personally I don't think pellets measure as accurately as powder (I could be wrong). So I am going to go back to the powder. But I have done my Vitamin E research, and this is the best straight vitamin E for the price.

My Horse won't eat this anymore
She started eating it OK, for a month or so, then she just stopped. Not sure if I have a bad bucket of it. Very disappointed.

Great Product
My three year old is a picky eater and will not eat most supplements. This Vitamin E supplement I bought she ate right away and has done very well on it. I recommend this product to anyone.

Love it
Don't have to worry about them not getting the full required amount of vitamin E anymore. The horses don't even know its in their grain.

Bought for EPM treatment
I bought this product to help with the healing process for my horse who was diagnosed with EPM. He was also on Marquis. We have seen significant improvement in one month! I will keep him on this supplement forever, it helps boost the immune system & has helped his dry skin also.

Going to be part of my winter supplements!
I have continued to notice an increase in muscle while keeping my gelding on this over the winter. Will more than likely put him right back on it next winter too because there will not be any grass for him to get Vitamin E from.

Small container only half full??
When I opened the container, it was only half full. For the price, I was expecting a lot more product :( But I will say my horse eats it readily. I will not be purchasing again.

Have to wait and see!
Well, my picky-eater gelding actually likes it, so this is a bonus! Can't say if I have seen a difference yet or not in his muscling because he has only been on it a month. I am going to order another month for him and am hoping I can see a difference.

Worth the money
Vitamin E helps horses muscle and nervous systems. It was explained to me by a vet and nutritionist that vitamin e helps their nerve endings to better and more rapidly fire which in turn aids in their muscle use as well as muscle recovery. I have seen a huge difference in three very different horses and will continue to have my dressage horse on it. However, if it is paired with sellinium, you can overdose your horse and cause intestinal damage. Also, they can really only digest it when combined with a fatty acid such as omega 3.

Good Natural Vitamin E Product
Our Vet recommended "Natural" vitamin E for both our arthritic 22 yr old horse and our growing 5 yr old. They both eat it up eagerly. I perfer the pellet form to the powder to be sure nothing is wasted. They both seem to be doing well on the supplement.

So far, so good!
My PSSM/IR horse needs natural vitamin E to help with muscle function. Was using the Vit E gel caps purchased from the drugstore, until one day I noticed a couple gel caps in his shavings. His condition had gone downhill a little too, which made more sense NOW that I realized he was spitting out the gel caps. So, a month ago, I switched to pelleted Vit E and my gelding is doing better again. Unfortunately, the cost is about $12 more a month.

great product
this product makes it so much easier to feed the horses in my barn natuaral vitamin E. prior to smartpaks pelleted natural vitamin E becoming available our vet recommended using human E capsules and squeezing the oil on the grain. Smartpak has made it so much easier.

A Wobbler Case
After my horse had the Wobbler Surgery, Dr. Barrie Grant recommended he receive Vitamin E. I tried Elevate and my horse didn't seem to appreciate the taste nor did it last very long. I tried another Vitamin E product which was a powder but my horse loves to sift through his feed so we had to add hay stretcher that was made into a mush. After trying this product, he eats it without knowing and has been improving readily.

Great product
Our 31 year old pony had a compressed spinal cord. Our vet recommended Vitamin E. This product has the very high level of vitamin E, that the vet recommended. So far so good. He is moving well, and has more flexibility in his neck. He does not seem to be experienceing the pain that we was from the initial compression.

Yay - she'll eat it!
My mare was recently diagnosed with PSSM and therefore needs a natural vitamin E supplement. She's a super picky eater and it can be really hard to get her to eat supplements, but she has no trouble with this one!

Best vit E pellets
I own a Paint gelding that was diagnosed with EPM 5 years ago. I treated him successfully. I put him on the vitamin e just to give him a little boost. We had a great show season, I give some credit to the supplement and some to the patience and understanding of this awful disease.

I needed a Vitamin E product with natural Vitamin E in a pelleted form. It is too soon to tell if the product has raised my horse's Vitamin E level but I am happy to say that she is eating every bit of it.

Good Vitamin E Supplement
About 6 months ago my horse was diagnosed with shivers, to help with this the vet recommended getting her on a regular vitamin E supplement. Smartpak had the best prices that I could find for a natural vitamin E, which can be quite expensive. My horse is also an extremely picky eater and will quit eating her grain all together if she doesn't like the taste of a supplement in it. I have tried both the pellets and non pellets that smartpak offers. She was willing to eat both of them, but she seems to prefer the pellets. It seems like she doesn't even notice that the pellets are mixed into her grain whereas the powder bothered her. Since starting her on the supplements, her shivers symtoms have completely disappeared. So if you have an extremely picky eater, I would recommend going with the pellets, but overall they are both good products.

Good EPM Support
I use this for my two EPM horses. They recovered much more easily using the Vitamin E. Did not use it for the first treatment but very glad I used it for the second
