One AC
After 24 days on One AC we started getting a little sweat on our 4 year gelding. I am going to keep him on it as long as it's hot. I am very happy with this product.

reliable product
After being given advice ranging from administering beer (?) to laying off work in the summer months (??) I decided to try a product with research behind it. Glad I did. I got good results after about 4 weeks and followed label directions of suspending work for initial few weeks.

Overheating relief
At one year old our quarter horse fillie showed heat distress. Used water to try to cool and give some relief. At two years old the problem continued and was more significant. One A/C was recommended for anhydrosis so we began treatment. Natural products are preferred at our barn. The summer was fairly cool in southcentral Kansas and she was less stressed. This summer we continue to use One A/C with success in temperatures that have stayed over 100 degrees for weeks. We are also use an electrolyte and accupressure treatments. She seldom shows signs of heat stress, panting, or anxiety even in this severe heat. Thank you One A/C for providing a product to help heat stressed horses!

Amazing!
When I bought a horse a few months ago with Anhidrosis I was concerned that our showing this summer would be limited due to the heat, but that isn't the case. We have been showing on 90 degree days and my horse has been sweating wonderfully. No more panting and dryness, he now sweats just like he should. Amazing product for an good price. It is a wonderful supplement. Its a small change for a really big problem! I would recommend this to anyone who has their horse diagnosed with Anhidrosis.

Thanks One AC!
My 25 year old morgan has been perfectly healthy until he recently was diagnosed with anhidrosis, and had a fever of 106.4! I immediatly ordered this product for him, he has now been on it for 3 full days, and today was found with sweat patches all over! With results this quick, I can only imagine how much better he will get. I am greatful to have the love of my life back to feeling himself.

It Works!
I just put my 15 yr old TB on this after he suddenly stopped sweating this spring. He has been on One AC for about 3 weeks now with electrolytes and he is now sweating under the saddle pad, girth and between his legs. He is not panting so much anymore and seems more confortable. I did not think it would work beacuse I had started it in hot weather but so far so good. I will continue to use this product every spring thru summer. The only thing I am not thrilled about is that it is very powdery and has a slightly unpleasent smell but mixed with oil my horse eats it fine.

works great!
this is an update from the previous review i wrote, i really feel after about a month and 1/2 that the one ac is working great. i increased the dose by 1/4, and it works alone, without his addition of beer. so for other reviews that didnt see a result, consider increasing the dose and give it about a month or more to work (directions say to take horse out of hard work for 3 weeks to allow product to build up in system).

No results w/ One AC
Have a hunter/ dressage gelding who developed non sweating disorder. He was not sweating anywhere! i used One ac as directed for 3 weeks. it did nothing. Called my vet, he suggested reg salt( 2-3 tbs) added to his grain daily. Some horses do not like to lick salt blocks- and will have a low sodium problem. I did add loose salt to his diet and he started sweating within one week ! ask your vet about salt as a low sodium problem will cause the horses body to save water( no sweating). Electrolytes help also- but plain salt is best. No beer as that is dehydrating, alcohol not good for their bodies as in humans also.

I have a show horse who suddenly stopped sweating! We have tried everything, including electrolytes, more salt in diet. Tried One AC out of desparation. My vet said he didnt think it would work- he was right- it didnt... absolutely no sweating with use of this product.

i feel that using the one ac alone didnt provide the results that i was hoping for. i use a combination of one ac, beer, and electrolytes, and that seemed to help. i wish i knew which of these was giving the most benefit. maybe increasing the dose of one ac alone would have helped.

Does the Job
This is really the only anhydrous solution in the market right now- however for my mare it does not work alone, I have to feed extra stout beer on top of her feed to get her to sweat as well, I have tried just the one ac and just the beer separately but they only seem to work together. I do not have high hopes for palatability though, she's a picky eater and I have a hard time getting the supplement in her without disguising it under lots of feed- and the beer.

can't live without it!
My mare doesn't sweat. When out trainer figured this out we got ahold of the vet immediately. She recommended your One AC. This has resolved the issue. She has been on it for about three years now and we would not consider another option!

Seems to work
I give this to my 27 year old Arabian in the summer in South Carolina when temperatures often meet and exceed 100 degrees with very high humidity. It seems to work, helping him sweat properly and handle the stress of the summer heat better. I just feed it in the summer months only.

Saved him !
Last summer my eventing horses developed Anhidrosis. Needless to say, I was in a total panic over this, and spent night and day trying to keep him safe and comfortable. After full blood tests, the vet recommened this product as well as electrolytes. Within ONE week he was sweating again !!!!! I took him off the product once colder weather started, but will for sure get him back on it immediately should the condition develop again this summer.

Very Pleased
I own a warmblood who was a non-sweater. I didn't notice how bad it was until he moved back to Texas. He was not sweating, we noticed a large amount of panting, veins popped everywhere, and a very unhappy horse. As a stable owner, I have managed a non-sweater before but never had a horse to this extreme. So we started him on OneAC in summer of 2010. We had no noticeable changes. So we began riding at 7 am and keeping him in a stall under 2 fans during the day. I did some research and found out that the best time to get their system sweating again was going to be in the fall / winter. So I continued OneAC regardless. Well starting in late October this horse started sweating by getting a very wet mouth. Then by November & December he was sweating under his saddle pad, behind his ears, on his face, under the girth, and between his legs. He is not foamy yet but this is the sweatiest I have ever seen this horse. I hope the sweating increases even more and I pray it holds him through the summer. We will continue to ride early once we hit the heat...but I cannot say enough about this product. Very pleased!

GREAT GREAT GREAT product!!!
I have a 9 year old thoroughbred gelding that I do the hunters with. He has never sweat a lot but was progressively sweating less, showing signs of anhidrosis. I live in Illinois and it gets pretty hot during the summer and show season. I would have a jumping lesson with him and all of his veins would be popped and he would be panting but no sweat. It got to the point where he was starting to pant all the time, even when not being worked. I started him on One AC, gave him 3 weeks off to let the product work, and that it did. Since being on One AC he sweats WAY more than he ever has in the 3 and a half years I have owned him. Right now, it is the end of December, and he is covered in sweat after I ride him even on a 20 degree day. He has never even sweat this much when it is hot out. He has gone from no sweating to a sweating machine!! It is such a relief to not have to worry about him over-heating and taking 30 minutes to cool him down after every ride. If your horse does not sweat, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. It is really easy to use, especially if you get the smartpaks, after a month, they are on it once a day with their grain. So easy, not too expensive, and works GREAT!!! I know before trying this product I read a ton of reviews and I was so glad that I followed them because I am so pleased with the result. I hope this review helps!!!

Love it!
I have a 25 year old thoroughbred who quit sweating this summer (we had a very hot and humid summer this year). He had all the classic symptoms of anhidrosis. I ordered One AC and saw results within 10 days of starting this product. One AC was a lifesaver for us, and I will definitely keep him on it next summer.

Early in my dressage horse's career, my trainer noticed he did not sweat enough. We would notice an exaggerated respiratory rate that would come on suddenly. We did not want to risk damage so started him on one AC at about age 5. He is now 14. I live in a climate that has extremely hot summers and we have not had any further problems with lack of appropriate sweating.

We have SWEAT!
I tried this product in the jar form and dosed it twice a day per container instructions, then switched to buying this from SmartPak in a double dose in the morning daily Pak with my horse's other supplements. VERY successful with the double dose in the AM. We had a slight increase in sweat with the twice daily dose and then with the double once daily dose I have a marked increase in sweat and no more "panting" from my horse. Bless her heart this really helped her a lot. I use this in conjunction with the SmartLytes electrolytes.

my horse has anhydrosis and was put on this product before i bought him. he has been on it for over 10yrs and seems to survive the texas summers just finet. i have continued it as suggested by his previous owner and have not had any problems.

No Change For My Horse
Unfortunately this product did nothing to help my TB gelding who developed anhidrosis for the first time this summer. He's been on this supplement for a month, I even tried a double dose for ten days, but he still has absolutely no sweat and pants.

Used for Preventive...
I purchased this product for my horse this year at the suggestion of my trainer as a preventative measure. This is probably the worst summer regarding heat & humidity that I can remember, so we are all on guard against anhidrosis popping up. Since starting my horse on OneAC, I have not noticed any problems with his sweating!
My horse has never been a picky eater, but he has shown no problems eating this product!

Works Great!
My older thoroughbred stops sweating every summer. We live in Florida and the heat is very hard on him. This product makes him start sweating again within 2 weeks, then we keep him on it for the rest of the summer until the weather changes.

Very helpful for non-sweating problem
I keep my horse on One AC from late spring until fall when the weather starts to cool down. In the past, he would have limited sweating and that would be splotchy. He would be panting just to cool down even after very limited exercise. Now we can take lessons and participate in Dressage clinics in addition to our regular schooling. He is an easy keeper and only gets a handful of a vitiamin supplement but he stills eats the One AC even though there is hardly anything mixed with it. Great product!
