We are still reviewing
We have been using OneAC for about 1.5 weeks and so far the symptoms of overheating continue. I increased the dosage to 1.5 scoops. The horse is borderline--almost 1,000 pounds. So far, so good. It will be interesting to see if the effects are cumulative. The vet will check her in the next week.

I have used this product in the past and it seems to help my horse..he sweats but it is delayed and the one AC does seem to make him sweat more and it does not seem to have any side effects so I would recommend this product if you have a non sweater.

Definitely helps non-sweaters
I live in Florida and have had a few non-sweating horses. Typically, we begin adding One AC to their feed in April when it starts getting really hot, and it's helped tremendously.

Great product
I used to think that my MFT was just really out of shape and needed more conditioner in his mane and tail. Then one day the SmartPak mag fell open to the One AC page, I read the discription and immediatly called my sister. LOVE SmartPak for being able to change daily dose and make sure hes fed the proper amout every day.

Anhidrosis
My Thoroughbred had suffered from terrible anhidrosis. Some rides in summer would be on average ten-fifteen minutes or he would start to overheat, but within weeks of consistently using this product I saw a major difference. We can now ride in all types of weather, and for longer periods. I definitely reccomend this product.

I cant believe how fast it worked
My horse has never had the no-sweating issue. he is an older TB and we live in Florida. After the high 90's in Sept-Oct, he starting not sweating and panting really bad. He has been on this for exactly one week and is sweating again. I highly recommend this product.
Also, in addition to this product, try pouring a beer on their feed in the morning. I know that sounds crazy, but its something about the hops in the beer that makes them sweat.

Love this product
My horse gets anhydrosis every summer. This product is the only thing that helps him. Conveniently packed, I can just drop off to the trainer and be assured my horse is getting his required dosage.

Saved My Sporthorse's Career!
My Friesian X Morgan was suffering from serious overheating due to the inability to sweat. He struggled to perform and recover after events. I had to be patient and follow the directions exactly by giving him the ONE AC twice a day, not once and sure enough, it took 2 1/2 weeks to kick in but it was like turning on a faucet. His condition and performance has improved dramatically. This product is a life saver for this condition.

It works!
Much to my relief, this product made my 20 y/o OTTB gelding start sweating again within one month. He'd never had anhydrosis before ... probably triggered by the stress of two back-to-back barn moves and a vicious attack by a new pasture mate, he suddenly stopped sweating (but don't know reason for sure). I was worried sick, so started reading COTH and equine blogs, found this product highly recommended and ordered it. I gave him 2x dosage for the first two weeks, then regular dosage for the second two weeks, and voila! ... sweating as normal again. I stopped giving it to him, and he is still sweating as expected. The only downside is that my gelding refused to ingest this product without heavily disguising the taste by mixing it into a paste with water and a liberal amount of maple syrup, and distributing thoroughly into his senior grain. Nonetheless, would highly recommend this product to anyone facing anhydrosis.

works very well
my 23 year old tb does not sweat very much. So I thought I would give this a try, am I glad that I did. He still sweats a little but with the one ac I can see that he is so much more comfortable He is able to tolerate the heat so much better. Did I mention the fact that we live in south FLorida? We are on our second jar of the One Ac. This product does work...

Excellent Product
I was thrilled to see the nearly immediate results with one of our older horses who had nearly stopped sweating. This is products keeps her system working in the high heat and humidity of Florida. I would highly recommend it.

Does what it says
I use this on a 14 y.o. gelding of mine that doesn't sweat normally. In our brutal Texas heat, this can become a lethal condition pretty quickly. This product does what it says. Within a couple of days he started sweating normally. I am so thrilled!! Keeps me from constantly sponging him down and worrying about him getting overheated.

Worth a Try
My Quarter Horse stopped sweating suddenly, so I put him on One AC because my vet said it was the only thing that might help. I didn't see any improvement at first, so I increased the dose since my horse is over 1000 lbs. After three weeks, he started to sweat some. It at least helps make him more comfortable in the heat. Still waiting for a full soaking body sweat, but it can take a few weeks to work. It's worth a try.

Hooray! My Horse Sweats Again!!
Thank you One AC! My horse went from panting and not sweating to being able to work a full schedule. He sweats and the panting has eased so he is able to resume training. Truly worth the price, One AC has proven to be highly palatable and it works!

One AC is great to have available for horses who suffer from Anhidrosis. It is a very dangerous condition and is nice to have an easy to use product to deal with it.

Good Stuff
My 17 yr old Thoroughbred has been Anhidrotic now for over 10 years. In this Texas heat, he is miserable, especially this summer (Heat Indices at least 105 each day for the month of June). Adding One AC to his regime (plus keeping him indoors during the day with a fan with plenty of hosing down each day), has helped him. He still isnt sweating but the One AC seems to reduce some of the heavy breathing associated with the heat.

Thank goodness for One AC!
Since I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, I was unprepared to deal with a horse that did not sweat normally. At first I noticed hard, heavy breathing but no increase in a respiration rate (just a heavy breathing sound similar to someone with an asthma attack) and it didn't take much work to start the abnormal breathing. Then after a hard work out with other horses a few weeks later, I noticed that my horse was the only horse not absolutely saturated in sweat. He did sweat but there were only a few spots here and there and it was not very much sweat. It was at that moment I knew something was wrong. After calling the vet and running blood tests we decided that the best route of action would be to put him on a course of Electrolytes and One AC. Within one week we noticed him sweating a lot more and his breathing returned to normal. Now after several weeks, he is a normal sweating horse and is back to work full time even in the heat. We do still keep an eye on him just to make sure but I really believe that One AC helped save his life! We did double the recommended dose and fed it twice a day for two weeks and then we cut him down to one dose twice a day and he is doing great! Thank you!

This Product Works in FL
This product has been a lifesaver for my horse. He is back to consistently sweating even in the hot, humid Florida summers. The only minor drawback is that you have to reduce their exercise level to allow the product to work but it does work.

A real "lifesaver"
I have a retired upper level eventer (TB,24 yrs) who suddenly developed anhidrosis, and came near to heat stroke on one of our very hot, very humid days (this with no activity that day except pasture turnout!)
Vet recommended OneAC. I spoke with the product developer (who was amazingly kind and helpful!)
and began using the product. We saw an immediate improvement (within 1 week, horse was sweating again.) For the last 3 years I have begun using OneAC when warm weather hits, and continued its use through summer until cool weather comes. No further issues with heat whatsoever. This product saved my horse's use as a pleasure mount.
At about $26 per month, it is cheap insurance against serious illness or injury from heat.
Originally, I tried the bulk jar, but the smartpaks were just as economical, premeasurement means barn staff do not waste it, and individual paks preserve the powder from damage due to humidity in our steamy summers. This is a great product, the service is excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone with an anhidrosis problem!

Great Product!
I was devastated when I found out that my 3 year old Thoroughbred/Percheron gelding wouldn't sweat no matter how hard he worked, I thought our summer was going to be nothing but body clipping and hosing off, so much for going to shows, but after a month on One AC he is sweating for the first time in his life!! Now that spring is here and the weather is warm, we are well on our way to making that show in May we had worked all winter to get ready for!! Looks like he is going to make his showing debut after all!!! Not only is he sweating, his stamina has increased, he is willing to move forward off my leg, and he is more focused during our workouts. I could not be happier!! I am so glad I found this product!!

This is the second horse I've put on One AC and it has helped both. The first horse I tried many other options (beer, Chinese herbs, acupuncture) with no success, so for the second I didn't mess around. If I ever have another horse with anhidrosis I will go straight for the One AC again.

One Ac-Best Product Ever!
One week in the summer my horse suddenly stopped sweating. His temp. went up to 102. and he was blowing hard. I had the vet over and she ran tests and everything with not much change in his condition. Then she gave me one ac and the next day he was sweating again. AMAZING PRODUCT! The vet bill from the tests and everything ended up being $750 and the one ac was $24 and it was the one ac that saved the say:D From now on I ALWAYS use one ac for the summer months and I've never had a problem.

Gave My horse a New Lease on Life
I purchased a 14 year old school horse for my daughter and he barely made it through the first hot and humid summer in the St. Louis Area. He was miserable in the heat.. he was not sweating and he looked like he was going to pass out just standing in his stall. The wonderful and knowledgeable advisors at Smart Pak suggested that we put him on ONE AC. The results were amazing. A few days after the first dose, he was sweating normally. One AC has made a big difference in my horse, Anhidrosis is no longer a problem for my horse. My daughter has graduated on to another horse and I am riding the school master, who is now 19 and he is wonderful. I credit Smart Pak with saving his life and giving me a wonderful happy horse teacher! And the Smart Pak system is so easy and convenient that even the "sometimes grumpy" barn staff does not complain too much!!! I would recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful Product!!!!!!
After a mild case of colic my horse just wouldn't start sweating. The vet started him on One AC and a few days later, he was sweating normally. I live in a hot and humid area where it is necessary for a horse to sweat. One AC has made a big difference in my horse and the others at my barn who use it have also had success. Anhidrosis is no longer a problem for my horse and it was so convenient to add it to my SmartPak. I would recommend this to anyone.

My Icelandic is sweating
Moved 12 year old Icelandic gelding from Canada to north Texas in August last year. He was stressed from the long trip and stopped sweating after the first day in 100F+ humid days. He required daily hosing, fans and mister. We gave him ONE-AC, but wasn't a sole solution. -- This Spring an early hot 90F humid day he was not sweating requiring hosing. I began ONE-AC again. Two weeks later another hot day and he was definitely sweating. He is now sweating normally and has had no problems with 95F days so far. ONE-AC seems to be working! I feed it in peanut butter to make palatable, as it is bitter tasting. I have not had to hose him off or use mister, but we still give him a fan and shade access.
