Bye Bye Fly is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 171.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from No results I bought the 2.2 pound bag for my 2 horses. It lasted just over a month giving both 1 scoop a day and I didn’t see a difference in how flies were bothering them (compared to barn mates not getting a feed through or before/after for mine). I did read it may take 8 weeks to see results and I didn’t give it that long. My hoses did eat it, no problem there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope! My horse wouldn’t eat it at all, he left his grain all over the ground and tossed the bucket all around

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I didn’t see a benefit I purchased the 2.2 pound bag for two horses. Both ate it without problem but I don’t see any difference in fly protection. Mine are not bothered less than barn mates not receiving any feed through fly control and they are not bothered less than when they are not on Bye Bye Fly. Also one scoop daily per horse the 2.2 pound bag lasted my two horses just over a month, not 166 days/doses as expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not help at all I've kept my ottb on it for 3 months and it hasn't helped him one bit. Not sure if this works on sensitive Thoroughbreds or maybe just need more quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product The flakes have a fresh smell to them. It is garlic, so the smell is very strong, but not unpleasant. My horses eat anything, so they didn't complain when we added this to their feed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It Second year using. I start it in April before flies start. Works great for all but my thorughbred who is very fly sensitive. I use Smart Pak Ultra Bug off for her and that works great also.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its okayish I bought this a couple months ago and i really saw only a tiny bit of difference the bugs were still going after him but not as bad as they were. I would only recommend this if your'e on a budget.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't Work My horse has been on Bye Bye Fly for three months and I have not noticed any difference in the number of flies in his stall or biting him on rides. He is the only horse in the barn on this supplement. Although it does not work for its recommended use, I keep my horse on it for the immune health benefits pf garlic. Overall, I do not recommend this supplement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, horse eats it! I bought this after seeing it work super well at a barn I work for. I can tell a difference in flies! The horses who are on Bye Bye Fly seem much happier and aren't constantly stomping or swatting. I ordered one package for me and one for a friend. Our 3 total horses are the least bothered by flies in the barn. We still use fly spray, but it definitely helps. Our horses didn't have trouble eating it. But, we introduced it very slowly. We started at a pinch am and pm and gradually increased to 3/4 scoop am and pm. The product arrived well sealed and fresh. SmartPak always makes sure their products are in good shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn't eat, also learned garlic is bad for horse I never fed enough to find out if it works. My mare wouldn't eat them, I was working on getting her accustomed to the taste with peanut butter but then read a book on plants toxic to horses. I learned onions are toxic to horses which got me wondering about garlic. Did a little research and found that while this very low dose is not toxic, it isn't good for them! And since the chances it would actually deter flies seems small I figured I would stop trying to get her to eat what she knew she should not be eating. So now I have two lbs of garlic flakes, trying to decide if people can eat them or if I should try to give away! LOL. I'm rating quality good because it IS beautiful clean garlic and no packaging problems as others have described.
