Bug Check
Well, my rating is not very accurate because we are so dry we actually have very few bugs so far, but the product smells fine and the horses are eating it. I have some ABC's bug stuff too and that smells really garlicky and the horses seem to tire of eating that.

Bug Off!
My horse has used this product for about a year & he has less bug bites than other horses at the same barn using sprays & a former barn where live fly control products were used. It is a blessing!! And best of all coming in individual packs makes it easy for the barn folks to deliver it.

Bug Check in use 4 weeks
I've been using Bug Check 4 weeks. I dont really notice a big difference yet. His skin doesnt seem to be irritated yet so it may be starting to work. Im going to continue for the next couple months & if his skin stays looking like it looks now, then Yes this stuff works. He's very sensitive to fly bites, so we will see.

This REALLY works!
Tried several other types of insect feed throughs and garlic supplements, and this really rocks. My horse loves it, and virtually no face flies. Last year she was eaten alive by them. Not this year, first year trial with Bug Check. Took about 7-10 days, but then, miraculous.

Smells Good
I am starting my horses on this product before the bugs come out. It smells good and they readily eat it up. I will rate it again in June, when the biting flies come out.

Bug check is a great product with no nasty odor. I chose it on a recommendation but find that it is very affordable,effective, and the horses seem to love it depspite being a powder. Occasionally I have found that it is not ground up as finely, but that doesn't seem to bother my horse.

Great Bug Protection
I'd eat it if it would work on me as well as it does for my horses. I accidently forgot to add BugCheck to 1 of my 3 orders. The first day the gnats showed up the horse not getting it in his SmartPak was miserable. The other two were fine!

Flies away
used it the first time last summer and noticed it realy worked. Got a big 30 lbs bucket this time, cheaper in the long run. I recommend it.

Will ALWAYS use for ALL my horses!
I'm not a fan of chemical dewormers, especially with all the hype about resistance. For the last 3 years, I have fed Torie bug check. My boarding stable challenged me to a "fecal exam" since I refuse to chemically deworm and they are old school every 8 wks kinda people. When I called the vet for the results, Torie was NEGATIVE for anything! AMAZING!! The vet even asked my secret.

An excellent product
My barn is never without this product. I took my horse to another barn who had a fly problem. Many of the horses were uncomfortable. My horse had fewer flies bothering him. Nor has our barn had a fly problem since using this product.

AWESOME PRODUCT!
If your horses suffer from hives, you really need to try this product. My mare suffered with hives since she was a 3 year old. I did everything I could think of to help her...even power-washing the insides of my barn! Finally, after 3 years of dealing with hives I put all the horses on Bug Check in April. Within a week her hives were gone on just 1/2 a dose. In May the black flies appeared and I noticed that this particular mare was starting with a small patch of hives again. I immediately put her on the full dose of Bug Check and the hives were gone. When we trail ride we are not bothered AT ALL by flies. This product is worth anybody at least trying!!

Greatest stuff EVER
I've used this stuff for over a year and it's the best stuff ever for repelling flies. Flies LOVE my horse, but not after being on Bug Check. Takes about a month to get into their system, but after that - NO MORE FLIES!!!!!

I've used this product for 4 years. Two of those years I did not start untill mid June. Before use, our horses had 50 flies per face. After the horses got their loading doeses the flies droped to a few per face. Awsome product.

Great Product
I purchase this every spring for my horse. Being in TX, he is on the supplement March-October. He is stabled with 40+ horses. Even though he is the only horse using the supplement it makes a huge difference. He is not bothered by the flies/insects the way the other horses are and I don't have to use fly spray. I would highly recommend this product.

Works Great!
I put the entire herd on Bug Check in the spring. Not only did they have fewer issues with bugs than friends' horses, but their coats are glossy and shiny and their energy levels are high! Even the picky old mare ate it right up!

Love it!
I purchased this for my 3yr old Paint stud. Horseflies were eating him alive & sprays were of no effect so I thought I would try Bug Check. The label states within a couple weeks you would see visible results...Within DAYS I was seeing results! After about the 3rd day I noticed there weren't so many flies bothering him. Definitely a must have during fly season

It is a miracle
We were covered in flies and gnats, The horses could not go out till after dark and in before daybreak! Riding was awful. I read the reviews and decided on Bug Check. 8 days later it got a little better now after 1 month we wear no fly-mask, turn out around 7:00 and can have a nice cup of coffee in the morning watching the horses graze!!!!!!!!!! It is truly a MIRACLE

Doesn't seem to make a difference
I have had 2 of my horses on this since April and they are just as covered in flys as the others. And the others were all on it from April til June when their's ran out and I didn't replace it. So I do feel I gave it ample time to enter the system and should have made a difference by now if it was going too. I like the natural method but if it doesn't work its just money out the window.

Not Much Help
I fed ten pounds of this supplement at a rate of 3 scoops/day to my two horses till it was gone and can't really say that I noticed a significant difference. Perhaps there are certain flies that it stifles but, by and large, the horses still battled with them and I could see their tails doing almost as much swatting movement as before. We scoop the manure out of the two acres that they are in pretty frequently anyway, so I was hoping these ingredients would keep flying insects from biting. However, I didn't see much change in fly biting or a marked difference in coat appearance.

Worth a try
This was a bit disappointing. At first I thought it was going to work fine but either it dwindled or the flies got stronger. Presently, I 'm trying another product a friend uses...we'll see. I DID start it (both)very late and our flies seem to be much worse this year so those things may factor in someway. My picky eater ate it right up so that is a ++ For the $$ it's worth a shot.

Not as Expected
This product did not perform as expected. My two horses have been eating it for over 3 months. The flies on them are somewhat improved, but the amount of breeding flies that are in their stalls are horrible. I continued to feed for a few weeks, hoping for an improvement. Considering beginning over with a different product.

NOT THE BEST
I HAVE FED THIS PRODUCT FOR HALF A MONTH TO MY GELDING. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK NEAR AS WELL AS THE SMART BUG PRODUCT. MY GELDING EATS IT, BUT DOESN'T LIKE IT NEARLY AS WELL AS THE SMART BUG PRODUCT. I SWITCHED BACK FOR MY NEXT MONTH'S ORDER.

A great extra step in bug control
We have 3 horses we started on BugCheck this spring. Even during the worst mosquito hatch, they would head outside to graze, even without being sprayed. I definately feel this adds another step to bug control. We have noticed a big decline in how often we are spraying the horses with fly spray, since they don't seem bothered or bitten up. Wish it was in pellet form, as 1 horse would leave a little pile of it in the pan (switched him to SmartBugOff pellets). After a couple of days, the other 2 ate it just fine and have continued to eat it without a problem. Don't know yet if it discourages the fly breeding in the manure, as the major fly season hasn't hit us yet.

Great Feed Thru
I've been using this for nearly three months now and I havn't seen ONE fly! It's been great! I do wish it worked a little better for mosquitos - my horses are very sensitive to them and this doesn't seem to help as much as I was hoping. But it's been perfect against the flys! Well worth it.
