Healthy Patients and a Healthy Practice
ColiCare™ is SmartPak’s groundbreaking wellness program offering up to $10,000 of colic surgery reimbursement to horse owners. You know that taking the best care of your patients requires regular visits. That’s why every horse enrolled in ColiCare must be seen by a veterinarian annually for physical and dental exams, veterinarian-administered vaccinations, and a veterinarian-developed parasite control program. ColiCare puts you in the driver’s seat when it comes to preventive care, while also helping your clients sleep soundly with up to $10,000 of colic surgery reimbursement should they ever need it.
Enrolling horses in ColiCare requires no veterinary paperwork
Your clients simply purchase a ColiCare eligible product in SmartPaks™, and then enroll online or over the phone. No veterinary participation is required in the enrollment process, which lets you focus on your busy schedule. We will regularly send you a list of your clients’ horses that are enrolled in the program, and those clients will come to you each year for the preventive care services as outlined in the Annual Wellness Requirements.
Assisting an owner with a claim is simple and easy
Should an enrolled horse in your care undergo colic surgery and the owner file a claim with SmartPak, we’ll simply ask you to complete a Program Compliance Affidavit confirming the horse has met all of the Annual Wellness Requirements. We’ll also ask the surgical facility to complete a Surgical Reimbursement Form, and that’s it!
