SmartEquine at the 2026 Kentucky 3 Day Event

The Kentucky Three-Day Event is one of our favorite weekends of the year, some might even call it the #BestWeekendAllYear, and we’re so excited to be heading back for 2026! From the energy of cross-country day to connecting with horse owners all weekend long, (and don't forget experiencing all four season of weather in the course of one weekend), there's just nothing quite like a weekend at K3DE. We’ve got a full lineup planned this year, from our booth in Sponsor Village to a can’t-miss tailgate, and of course, plenty of ways to connect, learn, and celebrate the sport together. 1. Sign up for the Course Walk

Before you even pack up the car to head to Lexington, don't forget to sign up for our Cross Country Course Walk! We’re thrilled to be celebrating our 20th anniversary of our course walk at Kentucky this year, it's an event that’s become a tradition we look forward to just as much as you do.

Join Boyd Martin and Jennie Brannigan as they walk the cross-country course, sharing insights, strategy, and what they’re looking for on one of the biggest stages in the sport.

You can find us in Sponsor Village at Booth #26, right where we were last year! If you remember the Ariat tent, we’re just across from it.

And just like last year we’ll have a lot going on in the booth all weekend:

  • Health talk with our Staff Veteriarian, Dr. Liz Schatz, to help you better support your horse
  • Our fan-favorite Treat Bar (come grab something sweet for your horse!)
  • Giveaways and freebies throughout the weekend

And while you’re there, you’ll be in great hands, ask for Megan, Kit, or Macaire for a full breakdown on supplements. Whether you're looking to reevaluate your current program or get started with something new, our SmartBarn Services reps are ready to help (or just to talk about your horse!).

Plus, come by to get out of the rain and watch some of the event on our in-booth livestream. Or you can come learn about gastric health insights on Friday at 1pm with our own Dr. Liz Schatz, the SmartEquine Staff Veterinarian and Dr. Sarah Ruess from the excellent team at Boehringer Ingelheim, the makers of GastroGard and Ulcergard). Plus, our event organizers, Sophia and Amanda are ready to help fill up your treat bags to take home to your horse and host some great giveaways!

3. Check out the Cross-Country Tailgate

We’ll also be out on course for cross-country day with our tailgate, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

While we’re still finalizing the exact location, you can expect:

  • Great drinks and a place to relax and watch rides
  • Prizes, giveaways, and more
