More than just your average fly spray, Pyranha Wipe N' Spray comes ready-to-use, provides insect protection, and imparts a high sheen to the hair when brushed out. A favorite of show horse owners, effective protection results can come from only 1 to 2 onces per horse. This repellent has been effective on biting flies, mosquitos, gnats, fleas, and should also be effective in helping to deter ticks.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use on horses intended for slaughter.
WIPE N’ SPRAY™ has been especially developed for use on horses. It provides a protective hair coating against flies while imparting a high sheen to the hair when brushed out. 1 to 2 ounces per head per day gives adequate protection. Apply by either soft cloth or fine spray mist.
USE TO WIPE ON: First, brush animal to remove dirt and dust. Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub over the hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against hair growth. Give special attention to legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas where flies are most often seen. Only a light application is needed. Avoid using an excess amount. Do not wet skin. After application, brush out thoroughly to bring out bright sheen on the coat. Repeat daily or as needed.
USE AS A SPRAY: WIPE N’ SPRAY™ may be applied as a fine spray mist to horses and over and around stable area or stabled horses for fast paralysis and kill of flies. Do not wet horse’s skin or exceed two ounces per application.

Most Effective Fly Spray Ever!
I have been using Pyranha Wipe N' Spray for the last 8 years, and I like to call it 'Liquid Gold'. I am able to see first hand that this fly spray kills and repels flies. When I spray a fly that has landed on my horse, the fly immediately falls to the ground. This fly spray can last for a while too! I will spray my horse once a day and it deters the bugs all day long. I feel this is one of the top fly sprays I have ever used because it continuously works for a long time and it is effective. I recommend this fly spray for horses that need a little extra support with deterring bugs. It is not insecticide-free, so I believe it works very well at actually killing the bugs.

I know many people who swear by this stuff but I was not impressed. my local tack store jacked the prices way up on the fly spray I usually buy so I decided to try this instead. I wish I hadn't. first off, the sprayer is trash compared to those from absorbine, the stream is very small and I felt like it was dispensing way too much product in one little area. the bottle also leaked a small amount while in use. I think I would be able to get past all that if it weren't for the smell, to me citronella is the classic summer barn and sure, this smells like citronella but it is so strong my horse could hardly stand it either! it's not bad enough for me to return it and buy the fly spray I want but I will never purchase this stuff again. super disappointed.

Effective product, terrible spray bottle!
I love this product. However I will not buy it again because the bottles wont spray, are hard to get to spray, the trigger stops working, your fingers feel like they will fall off!

Poor spray bottles
I had previously purchased a gallon of this product...and my spray bottles disappeared from the barn....borrowed by the petting zoo keepers. I ordered 2 quarts so I would have spray bottles to refill...and both had defective triggers. My newer when I called customer service, “ cut the tube”. NO. It is the trigger. I do not pay money to perform surgery on a container that is supposed to work. Unsatisfactory service, great product

Best so far.
Moved from an area with very few flies or other bugs. At most went through 1-1 1/2 spray bottle of Endure during fly season. Where I live now flies, mosquitos and ticks are terrible and I am going through a gallon within a month! Neither Endure or Tri-Tech have worked well. One of my horses is very sensitive to all the biting insects and I have them on Smart Bug Off, Solitude IGR and am trying fly predators this year also. Fly masks help a lot for their faces but a lot of the time it’s too hot for fly sheets. Decided to try the Pyranha Wipe & Spray and it works great! My horses are swishing tails and stomping feet much less than with the other brands I’ve tried. If it completely eliminated any fly from landing on them I
would give it 5 stars. So far I’m happy with this product other than how much I have to use.

Best Boss Fly spray

Love this stuff!
I bought Pyranha Wipe N Spray from Smartpak and it works really well. In North Carolina the bugs are killer...but this stuff keeps my horse almost completely fly free! It is so hard for horses to focus on their jobs when bugs are bitting them. But this spray and your horse will love you!!!

Works better than the blue bottle water based model, but some horses can have reactions to the oil used in this spray. I don't spray it on my horses face due to that. It causes their skin to flake like dandruff on their face and sometimes on their chest area too. All fly spray is very over priced, but needed.

Works but is messy
First, let me say that this product really does work, but it is oil-based and super messy and it does not have a pleasant aroma. Also, when I received the shipment, it was crushed into a box that bent the spray nozzle so it doesnt work but thankfully it was placed in a plastic bag so I was able to funnel the fluid back into the bottle.

Good Fly Control, but Oily
I got this so I could have 2 fly sprays to alternate between in summer months. It seems to be working better than my UltraShield-EX. I'm not particularly fond of the smell of the spray--it's not a bad smell by any means, it just doesn't smell great like some others I've tried. The main thing I don't like about the Pyranha spray is that it's rather oily. My horses coat feels and looks oily after applying the spray when I do a light spraying. If you put a lot on, then it really looks oily.

This is by far the most effective fly spray that I've ever used... however, of the three horses we have, one of our horses' skin literally blistered and it took his coat and skin months to recover and we couldn't ride and I felt awful for putting him through that. We now only use a water based fly repellent even though I want to continue using this spray for their and our sanity.

Attracts Dirt
I bought this fly spray last summer due to the great reviews I had seen. While it does work really well at repelling the flies, it attracts SO. MUCH. DIRT. I realized this when I sprayed my horse and then rode around for about 20 minutes, only to hop off and see patches of dirt on her shoulders and neck. I'm not sure how that happened, I guess when she kicks up dust it just sticks to the spray. Because of this and the strong smell, I'll probably be hunting for a different spray.
