Nice bridle, fur was smaller than on the photo
Ordered a cob size for my 15.3 mare. Leather quality seems great. On the picture it shows the fur on the nose band to be a lot bigger than it actually is. Don't know if that was just how this one was made or if it will fill out the more i use it? I also had to put it together myself. No problem with that, just wasn't expecting it to come out in pieces lol.

beautiful
Love this bridle, had to exchange for a cob even though my guy is usually horse size but the cob fit him great and I am very happy with it. Soft beautiful leather and great for the show ring

So Beautiful, but ran big
I love the look of this bridle it is gorgeous. However the horse size was slightly too big for my horse who is horse size in everything else. I was on the tightest hole on all the sides and knew if it stretched at all it would no longer fit him. Exchanged for the Cob which fits great! on the loosest hole but I know when the leather stretches now it will still fit!

Beautiful Bridle
Lovely bridle, beautiful leather and workmanship. Only issue was that the reins for the oversize bridle were so long they could wrap around my foot. I took a full 12" off the length by making a new hole and trimming off the excess.

Not the Wellfleet leather I know and love
I have been consistently impressed with the quality and value of the Wellfleet line but this bridle is a different leather that falls short of the mark. It's the kind that feels like there's a coating on it so it doesn't take oil very well and the top layer wrinkles when you bend it. It is still a step up from the Harwich leather. I am going to try wiping it down with ammonia to see if I can strip that coating. It was on sale when I purchased it so I do not feel that I overpaid but I wouldn't buy another. All that said, it fits beautifully and the reins are awesome-super grippy without being too thick or stiff. I like to think my opinionated wonder mare appreciates the anatomic padded crown. The sheepskin is really fluffy if you like that sort of thing. I don't so I cut mine off and voila-easy to clean.

We crafted bridle
Very nice detail and well crafted. I purchased a warm blood / over sized as my 17.3 hand Hanoverian has massive jawls, fits perfectly. The only concern I have is that the reins are way way too long!! They are so long that they are almost dangerous as the extra rein length can almost loop around my boot on one side. You will not be disappointed for the price!

Average Quality
This bridle looks very pretty on my horse. However as far as quality, it is not great leather, and if I had paid the full purchase price I would've surely sent this back. After discounts I was lucky to only pay $162 which is an acceptable price for the quality. I don't see a difference in quality between the Plymouth and Wellfleet leather.
