poor quality
Wields rough, could tear into flesh, and poorly constructed. Would not recommend. Using it to hold up a 5 gallon pail in a stall, only good use for it.

Worked perfectly for my horse.
I bought this chain a month or so ago to replace one that was too long. The length is perfect on my horse's halter.

Nice chain
Bought this to have on hand just in case for my 5 and 1/2 year old. Had some excitement coming in and out from paddock once and had to borrow a chain from a fellow boarder. Have not needed it. Construction and snaps seen ok but a little flimsy compared to chain I borrowed which is pretty old guess they do not make things like they used to. Will probably hold up just fine.

Quality
Always good to have a shank on hand, this one is good quality, I'm sure it will last.

Do not recommend
I bought several of these. So far 2 of them the snap froze up so that they are inoperable. They are fairly new so it should not happen.
