Regrets
I was hoping this fly sheet would work well, especially since my horse is getting bitten by no-see-ems on his neck under his mane. But this fly sheet slips back off his shoulders and the whole thing slides back so he ends up with manure on it. I tried adjusting it, but then it tore. Hmm.

Great Fly Sheet
I purchased this for my paint horse who has very sensitive skin and will itch his neck and chest raw from bug bites. He also has a tendency to destroy blankets. I have had this blanket on him for 3 weeks straight and after washing it off, it still looks new, and no more bug bites on my sensitive guy. The only problem I am having is that my gelding is a big sweater and we recently had some 90 plus degree humid weather. I had to take off the blanket, as he was really sweating mostly around his neck and chest where the material is lined or layered and must not breath as well. .

Really great product!
I bought this to replace a Rambo Protector, which didn't fit my mare well when she puts her head and neck down to graze (which is her favorite activity). So far, the larger neck and cut of the Weatherbeeta sheet is a huge improvement on fit. The fabric is fabulous and will protect her thin skin from the mosquitoes really well. I'm interested to see how it breathes in later summer, but so far, I am thrilled with this purchase. It looks nearly fresh out of the bag after a week of naps, rolling, galloping and grazing/eating hay. I really like the belly band on elastic straps - they're sturdy and the belly band offers great coverage.

My 14.2 QH has terrible skin allergies to bugs. I use this sheet with the neck piece, at night , and it seems to help. It is probably too hot to use during the day. The size 69 fits him perfectly!

Love it so much, I bought a 2nd one
Originally purchased this model over a year ago for my sweet itch afflicted mare and just purchased a 2nd in Feb 2018. Keeping her covered has made the difference. The ripstop quality of the mesh is nice, it does work, her original only has 2 small holes in it so I know her new one will hold up. She wears a 72" in the sheet, she is between sizes so we have a bit of room. She is 15h dead on, the neck fits perfect and the drop length is just right I can fold the edges into the belly flap without lots of bulk or wrinkliness. The mane and tail flap are lined with the silky fabric like the shoulders and I say it definitely helps even more to keep the no see ums and other pesky pests from getting to her skin. I do take it off her during the height of FL summer (85+ temps), it breaths well but she gets super sweaty living out 24/7, so we compromise.

Full coverage and lightweight.
North carolina has a serious bug issue but it's also super hot. I think that even though this sheet covers so much of his body it's very breathable. If you have a round bellied horse, don't expect the belly to fit without extenders.

I got this to start using on my mare who is super sensitive to bugs and had really bad sweet itch when I bought her last year. I love this fly sheet so far. It’s durable and keeps her clean. It hasn’t warmed up much here yet so we will see how she does this summer when the bugs get worse and see if she stays cool in it.

Fits well
It's one of the cooler fly sheets but the horses still get hot across the shoulders. There is extra fabric there so I think that is the cause. Some people are cutting that out and think it is helping.

Nice light material, seems like it would be fairly durable, I did size down 1 size to an 84" which fit nicely everywhere except his belly! I could not get the belly strap to fit.
He's a big boy and very muscular but unfortunately this is a no go for us. I read the other reviews and looks like I am the only one with this issue.

A must have for bug season!
This sheet fits great and is holding up really well. I have a serious roller and there is zero damage to it. The dust seems to just fall right off it as well which is nice! Very breathable and comfortable material, not super stiff like some of the other brands. I absolutely recommend it!

Like the material
This material floats off of the horse and keeps the horse cool when it's hot. I have an old fly sheet for my other horse and is heavy and drapes on him and make him sweat. This one does not do that.

Overall very nice fly sheet.
The only thing I don't like a 100% is the chest closure. I don't know why but each time I close the velcro properly and a bit later it's open again. And it's right where the mosquitos love biting my horse :(

Great flysheet! Lightweight and works on small bug
Bought this for use at shows when small biting flies are around. Works like a charm. Lightweight and fits well. I ran it thru the wash first and that took out the stiffness. Bought 2 more.

Good overall, needs one improvement
The front velcro closure isn't done correctly. It won't hold up the way it is made. The velcro should sandwich between 2 pieces such as Amigo or Schneiders fly sheets because it's going to end up not sticking and folding under and being scratchy against horses chest. Love everything else about it.

Lightweight and breathable
I agonized for a long time about e\which fly sheet to buy, since the breathable ones all seemed to be heavy mesh, and the lightweight ones were mostly made of sleazy polyester that isn't very breathable. This sheet is very light, breathable and also gives great coverage. I really like it, and my horse (who generally hates any kind of clothing) is OK with it.
