Not good in heat
I purchased this hoping it would be a cooler option for the summer. My boy lives outside and absolutely hates the bugs. The constant stomping destroys his feet so he needs bug protection. It's well made, looks great, and is a great price. However, one day when it was about 90 he was so soaked in sweat it looked like he had been running in the field for hours. This was with access to a run in shed and shade. I put his old fly sheet on and had much better results.

I’ve has this for maybe two weeks and the shoulder is already ripping. My horse isn’t destructive at ALL so this is extremely disappointing to me. Especially because it was so much money.

GREAT! fly sheet
I bought this for a very sensitive mare- she swells up with every bug bite. This is durable and has provided good protection. It does collect static and can shock her a bit when I remove it but I'm in a very dry climate. Although the fabric is not soft it has not created any rubs and i've had to leave it on during the evenings due to this little mites biting her. It's kept the black flys off too. The belly band fits snug which is great to keep the bugs off. She loves to roll and rub on things but it has just pulled the material a bit. The texture of the material reminds me of plastic water bottles but it's cool and she seems comfortable.

Quality sheet does not breathe
Very well constructed and excellent fit. The best quality materials. On a hot day it’s like being wrapped in plastic wrap my horse sweats a lot in it as it does not breathe. Amazing for a cooler day.

Great Fly sheet
I really like this fly sheet for the price. I normally have a hard time finding fuller coverage fly sheets for my shorter backed, but broad percheron/tb cross, who is a 78, but I often have to go up aside to accommodate width. This fly sheet fits her great though at a 78 and most importantly, it stretches nicely when she moves. I've also found that it doesn't fall back and pull on the shoulders like other sheets I've tried. The neck attachment also stays on nicely; however, it could perhaps be a little more fitted at the base of the neck. Overall, a really nice product for the price point.

Well Made!
I will likely update this once I am able to use.
Thoroughbred: 81" blankets usually fit like glove- 81 was just a little big, not bad. I ordered a 78" as well and that fit very nicely.
Quarter Horse: Usually a 78". 78" was too long for his neck and body- belly strap was very snug around his grass belly. Going down to a 75" with strap extenders.
OVERALL: Very nice looking sheets. Feel very durable. I am excited to start using once the exchange goes through. SmartPak is always helpful when dealing with returns.

The best fly sheet you’ll buy
I bought this a week ago for my mare and so far it has held up great! It fits her well, the material is breathable, and it has a belly band for extra coverage. Been looking for a fly sheet this amazing for a while and I’m so glad I got it.

So far, so good
After trial and error with another fly sheet, I finally decided to give this one a try. My horse is extremely sensitive to bug bites, so a fly sheet is a must in the spring/summer. It fits her well. For reference, she's a 15.3 Morgan and is a 78 in all Weatherbeeta sheets and blankets, this was no different. I can't speak for it's durability as she has only had it on for about a week, that's why I only gave 4 stars, but so far so good! Keeps the flies away and isn't rubbing her mane out like the last fly sheet did.

THE BEST FLY SHEET YOU'LL BUY
I've had this fly sheet for multiple horses over the past 10 years. They will last forever unless you have a horse that's extra hard on blankets, in which case it'll last about 2 seasons.
I always recommend saving your money from a lesser sheet and going for this one. There simply isn't a better product.
I only wish they came in different colors so I could tell my different sizes sheets apart for my horses!

Awesome Sheet!
Excellent sheet with the quality we've always loved and expected from WeatherBeeta. This sheet doesn't shift at all, offers excellent coverage everywhere, and is made of strong yet flexible and breathable fabric that won't be too hot. Some people didn't like the tail flap. It is longer (similar to their winter blankets) than other brands' tail flaps, but I personally like the extra coverage. My horse doesn't have any issues with it. I think it does a better job keeping the bugs from getting under the sheet, which had been a big problem with other sheet brands.
All of the straps are adjustable. The belly band adjusts on both sides. The clasps between the neck cover and sheet are Velcro and better than sheets with clips. In the past, other brands with clips tended to rip off of the sheet, creating an unusable neck cover and a hole in the sheet. This sheet attaches differently. If the Velcro breaks, it shouldn't compromise the rest of the sheet or neck cover. which is great!
Once again, WeatherBeeta comes through for the win! I'll be ordering another for my other horse.

Great Cool Fly Sheet
My 3rd attempt in a month for a lightweight flysheet that fits!! So happy with this. Cool wearing and the belly band straps have stretch to them! The only minus is the attached tail flap is really long. I cut it at the top binding so my horse could swish his tail.

Good Quality, But Too Hot for My Horse
This sheet provides good coverage and seems very sturdy, but I think that comes at the expense of breathability. My horse gets too hot in this sheet if it's above 85 degrees or so, meaning I will need to purchase something new for this summer.

This is the first time I've purchased a fly sheet made of this material. It seems like it may hold up better than the lighter fabrics. It doesn't fit tight on the body which may allow for good air flow. The neck part is very long and covers to the ears. I don't like the buckle front (clips are easier) and the velcro that holds the front together pulls apart. Ordered an 84" which fits generous - the belly band is snug but my horse has a large barrel.

Perfect for hot summers.
I purchased this sheet at the beginning of last year and it still looks brand new. Initially, I was concerned that it would be too hot when our desert summer temps reached triple digits, however it actually seemed to keep my horse cooler. My only criticism is that I had to remove the tail flap as it caused my mare to urinate on her tail and I wish it came in a combo neck as opposed to a detach-a-neck. All in all, I am a Weatherbeeta fan and this is my favorite fly sheet they make.

Great fly sheet
I bought my first one in February/March and I haven't needed to replace it until now. Considering my horse is a serial blanket shredder, this was amazing! I've tried a dozen fly sheets and this is the only one she doesn't rip. (The other ones would last an average of 2 weeks, even the "durable" ones). Would definitely recommend for horses that tend to rip their blankets and sheets apart. It does run large, but sizing
down will do the trick.

Works best with neck cover
These flysheets are very popular at my ranch and these horses are in pasture and stalls. I've yet to see any damage - pretty amazing. I bought this flysheet for my friesian who has larger withers and a higher set neck and because the neck piece can be taken off. He does not wearing material around his neck. It is hard to assess the neck opening from photos and in this case, it was too generous without the neck attachment so I returned the flysheet. We ended up with the Rambo fly protector which fit better, but was more expensive.

It’s still in one piece!
My mare has a bad fly allergy and this blanket has really helped keep them off. Fits well and looks good! She must think it’s comfortable because she didn’t destroy it within the first 48 hours.

Great fit, good airflow
I was looking for a fly sheet that would be cooler than a Weatherbeeta Dura Mesh and Rambo Protector. We have had a hot, very humid summer and both of those leave my horse very sweaty. This seems to be leaving him much cooler. The sizing is good, it may not run quite as large as older Weatherbeetas. My horse measures a
solid 78 and the 78 fit perfectly.
My only complaint is that the velcro at the chest does not hold at all, leaving the chest wide open with only the straps holding it. But, it doesn't seem to bother my gelding at all and he has no chest or shoulder rubs. His Rambo left him with rubbed shoulders and chest.
Overall, I was thrilled to have this fly sheet solve issues we had with the others.

Love this sheet! I was looking for something lighter weight and more breathable than my horse's previous blanket. My mare is sensitive to bugs and really seems to love wearing this fly sheet. Although it is much lighter than her previous sheet, I still take it off above 85 degrees or so because she tends to sweat too much in the humid Michigan summer. 81" fit my 16.2hh big bodied TB very well.

Wonderful Fly Sheet
This is a great fly sheet, lightweight but strong. My horse sweats a little on really hot days at the shoulders but otherwise is comfortable. I’ve hosed it off and it dries quickly. Runs true to size.

Great Fly Sheet
My horse has been wearing this fly sheet for about 2 months and it is great. Very pleased with the fit and quality of the sheet. It is durable yet breathable to let in air to keep him cool in the heat. Just ordered another one for our other horse.
