Love this Fly Sheet!!
I bought this fly sheet for my warmblood mare and couldn’t be happier. I was looking for a sheet with room in the shoulder and could fight off the harshest or bugs. This works perfectly!

Stitching coming apart after 1 week
This fly rug appeared durable and well made, however after 1 week of use the netting is coming away from the binding material at the chest. It appears to be faulty stitching rather than anything my horse has done. I’m very disappointed, Weatherbeeta is my go-to brand to fit my muscular quarter horse.

I love this
So I may have only just opened the package in which this came and cannot attest to the durability but what I can tell you is I love it. It looks great, it fits great, and my horse loves it. Unfortunately it’s supposed to rain all week so I don’t know when I can put it to the test but in the mean time I will be just oogling how cute it makes my horse look

I loved this sheet at first but it quickly went downhill from there. It kept the bugs off of my girl in the areas that were most needed but I started noticing issues just 1 week into using the sheet. The front where the velcro/clasps are never stays shut and exposes that area to bugs. This sheet is also a huge sweat trap and I found her dripping in sweat everywhere the sheet had been. I really wanted to like this sheet since she has bad bug allergies but it was not for us at all.

My new favorite fly sheet!
I was a devout Rambo person but this is best fly sheet ever! Fits better, less expensive, two colors to distinguish whose is whose….really good!

Love this fly sheet!
It's durable as well as breathable. I did cut out the lining on the shoulders, but other than that it's perfect! Keeps the sun and bugs off my girl:)

Durable
My mare has been wearing this sheet for a year during turnout in FL. She has rolled a million times. I’ve machine washed/dryed it a bunch. It has remained intact, no rips. The only drawback is during the hottest days the lined area of the chest traps heat and she sweats buckets so not ideal for hottest FL summer days. Also, Velcro strip on chest closure is crappy and instantly comes undone, so just the nylon straps hold front chest area in place.

Ripped within the week.
Belly straps ripped off within a week of owning. Not sure what the horse did to make that happen. I contacted smartpak, and as always they were super helpful!! I ended up returning it, but they did offer to send a discount so I could get it fixed locally.

Pretty good sheet but...
I've owned several of these over the years and they are quite durable, though I've had the same issue some others have with the back seams by the tail flap tearing free from the mesh (and my mare doesn't run in turnout, only wears this overnight, is not hard on sheets whatsoever, and won't let other horses near here so nobody can destroy sheets for her lol). I ended up just sewing the torn mesh back on and removing the tail flap (carefully used a seam ripper just along the extra stitching that's used to secure the tail flap on), because every day she would come in with manure smeared all over the inside of the flap (and consequently, in her tail and down her legs). The tail flap is massive. I also had an issue with this sheet rubbing hair off her rump on both sides due to the darts that are back there, so I got out my handy dandy sewing kit and an old dry fit tee shirt and reinforced them with the tee shirt material which stopped that issue from continuing. I also ended up using that same tee shirt to essentially make it a closed front sheet because the edges of the front kept rolling in, exposing the Velcro which then rubbed her chest. So a lot of work for a sheet at this price point. I live in hot and humid Florida and she does sweat a lot in this sheet. I like how fine the mesh is so it does its job there but again, lots of modifications for an expensive sheet. I wash it every weekend by hand (washing machine does nothing for it) and it comes fairly clean though it definitely looks used after a few weeks. All in all, it's not a bad sheet but I'm on the hunt now for one that doesn't have the above list of issues and has more air flow.

Great sheet but so small
I bought this fly sheet for my warmblood/fresian 17.1H gelding with high hopes that it would fit, since this would be my 4th sheet trying to fit him! Sadly, it was sooooo tight across the shoulders and there was no way the belly strap even could connect. I loved the quality of this sheet though.

Great Protection
My horse's belly was getting eaten alive so I purchased this about a week ago and so far it has been great. As others mentioned, it does run a little large. The fit is well designed and doesn't slip or cause rubs. It is breathable to a point, but my horse does sweat sometimes when he is in it (he is a very sweaty guy anyways due to Cushings). The material seems pretty durable Overall, I'm happy with the sheet and hopeful that it will last.

Durable, fits well
I bought this 2 months ago and my horse has worn it almost every day since. 2 of the Straps on the belly band ripped and it has caused some rubs on her shoulders, so I wish the nylon went a little further back. But the main sheet has held up to rubbing against trees and many romps with the other horses in her pasture. Overall a good investment.

You do need to size down. My horse who is an 80 got the 78 and my other horse who is a 76 ended up in the 72. I have only had them a couple weeks so durability I can't really say too much yet. But I love the fact the belly band adjusts from both sides I really feel that it keeps the fly sheet from shifting too much. Overall I am pleased and my boys are handsome in their new fly sheets.

DURABLE SHEET
I’m so happy with this sheet. Fits great, FULL coverage and very tough! My biggest concern was airflow with this sheet because the holes are very small. Even in 100 degree weather my horse had no more or LESS sweat marks on him then other sheets with big holes. I attribute it the amount of sun blocking it does..not sure. The loop at the poll is actually big enough to attack to fly mask. And neck piece is big enough to let the horse put his head down and NOT pull the fly mask around. It works!
I wish the chest closing was a bit better with the Velcro. But still it hasn’t rubbed him at all.

Great Fit and Quality
I got this sheet for my 4yo TB a couple weeks ago, and it has been great so far. He wears it in the stall and in turnout, and it has held up well. He loves to roll, and the belly band makes it more secure in addition to providing more protection. The light mesh has kept him cooler than other sheets.

Sturdy and doesn't rub
Really impressed with this fabric. My super destructive horse has worn for a month without a single rip. Plus it's relatively cool, even in our oppressively hot and humid summers. Oh! And it doesn't hurt that my n wide shouldered boy doesn't get rubs here.

Lovely and Fashionable Fly Sheet
The bugs have been super bad where I board my horse, and he is super sensitive when it comes to bugs, being a Thoroughbred Cross. The fly sheet that I bought fits him well and I love the color, not to mention it keeps the flies at bay! Definitely would recommend to any horse!

My first and last fly sheet!
This is the first floor sheet i have ever bought, where I keep my horse it was recommended that she have one in the past year she is in. The owner of the place has remarked about how this fly sheet does not matter her mean like other fly sheets I’ve done to the owners horses, also even though she’s gonna pass you were three other Phillies around two years old, her sheet is still intact. She’s had it on for 10 day stretch and it has still been in place when I came back

Great fly sheet except...
My own horse, along with quite a few other horses at the barn, have this fly sheet. It’s quite durable, fits all the horses well, and I love the belly band and large tail flap. There are in two cons to this fly sheet that I have found while using it on my own horse. The first is that it seems to be hotter than my horse’s fabric fly sheet. My horse lives out 24/7 with access to a run in shed and I noticed she seems to sweat more when wearing this fly sheet as opposed to her fabric one. The second is that the material is a bit rough on their coats and can cause rubs on find haired horses, such as my chestnut OTTB. The shoulders are lined which is awesome but they need to line the withers also for those high withered horses. My horse got a terrible rub on her withers which caused her to be extremely sore. I definitely recommend this fly sheet, just maybe not the best option for a horse that lives out or one that is thin skinned or high withered.

Great fly sheet!
I purchased this to replace an Amigo Bug Buster sheet that just wasn't a great fit on my gelding. This sheet fits great, has good coverage without being too hot and stays put very well. My gelding and I are both happy!

Defective
I bought this sheet for my horse who is allergic to flies since the neck cover is huge and has a wide belly band as well as durability.. sadly. The pipping along the next has torn at the seams 3 times. 2 times smartpak honored it was not normal horse wear and replaced it. The sheet is worn for ALMOST 2 weeks then the pipping detaches, then they have gave me a return label but then it takes forever for return process, so I only get one use for the fly season and by the time I get the new one I have to wait til next season.
On top of the torn pipping the belly bang strap broke and idk how! My horse isnt hard on any fly gear because he enjoys them because he isnt breaking out in hives or becomes itchy because of being protected.
It's always the same issue so idk if I get sent a defective sheet or this is a brand issue. I dont have the money to keep replacing 100+$ sheets.

Cool
I had to sell my first order as it really runs large, but that being taken care of, so far so good. No rips, seems to be cool enough, my boy hasn’t been sweating. And no rips, even with his rubbing.

Great Fit and Breathable!
I bought this fly sheet for my two Paint Geldings. It fits well on them both and they have not been overheating even in 95° weather with humidity (Nebraska). The adjustability on the belly bands makes sure they are comfortable and protected.
