Good for the price!
I bought this after my mare ripped her blanket from last year. It was on sale, and I've been wanting to get a high neck sheet anyway, just to see if the fit was improved any. While the high neck does allow for a little more shoulder freedom, I'm not crazy about the fit. I wish it came in more sizes! Since it goes from 75 (which is too small based on my other sheet/blanket buying experiences) to a 78 I have to live with it being too large. A 76 would probably be perfect unfortunately. I've thought about just having it a little too small, but her sheet that's a size 75 (getting replaced right now- Thank Smartpak!) rubs her if it's on for too long so I'm sure it would be same. I would say the sizing is accurate, I just wish there were more options! Love the teal blue color, love the high neck, love the weight, and so far it's been really durable. It seems like it'll last a long time.

Love the high neck - keeps the water from dripping
I had underestimated the back length of my horse, so went up a size from 72 - got a 75 but it fits my american saddlebred perfectly. He is, after all l7.5 hh! Sorry I am unable to click the ratings. Your computer program is refusing to accept. Sorry

Beautiful blanket
Great blanket, very nice colors, fits like a glove. My qh always wears a 78' and after seeing the reviews to buy smaller. I still bought a 78' and it fits her perfect. But she does have big shoulders. Will buy again for next winter with the full neck. Wish it did come in a heavy one. Holding up great so far! The underside keeps her very shiny!

Great Value!
I got this blanket on sale a month ago and it exceeded my expectations! I was a little worried since it lacked some of the "more expensive" features like shoulder gussets and Velcro to hold the front closed. My horse seems to have plenty of room in the shoulders and the front does not gape open. Added bonus, the "ocean/grey" color is awesome!

Fits great!
I purchased this turnout 2 months ago, but with the mild temps in December I didn't use it until recently. The 81" fits my 17 hh OTTB perfectly. The high neck covers his withers and I don't have to put a shoulder guard on him anymore. There's no binding in his chest or shoulders, he can move freely. Fortunately my boy is easy on his turnouts, no biting or chewing, so I'm confident this rug will be very durable.

First time I have ever purchased this brand of blanket. It looks very well made,and I am very happy with this purchase. My horses both take a size 80 in Big D, Smartpak,and Dover,and after reading reviews I decided to go down one size to a 78 and they fit great.

Great value! High neck keeps rain out!
This is a great turnout for the money! The high neck works well here in the rainy NW keeping water from running down the neck and shoulders. I tried this on two horses with different conformation types (one tall, leggy warmblood and one old-style, broad chested warmblood) and it fit both nicely.

What Value
I was very surprised at the value. This is very well made, on the warm side of medium warmth. It seems to run true to size. I bought a 78 knowing he is more of a 76 but not wanting to have to return and the 78 is 2" too big. It comes with a 3yr warranty for waterproofness. Where can you get that! It is very pretty. The high neck fit is perfect. Others I have tried are chokingly high at the closure. My only complaint is that the leg straps are not detachable on both sides. Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised.

Genero High Neck Blanket
I bought a heavy weight regular neck Genero 2 years ago for my gelding, and realized it was the best blanket I'd ever purchased. When the High Neck versions became available to order, I got one for each of my horses. These blankets are no frill, but they fit both of my horses extremely well even though my mare is short, fat and barrel shaped, and my gelding is tall, thin with high withers, and built like a giraffe. No rubs on either of them, really durable water proofing, strong hardware, and I LOVE THE ATTACHED NYLON WEB LEG STRAPS! Adjust the leg straps once, and that's it--they never need replacing, they never rip off. I also love the high neck style instead of messing with neck covers (and having to continually replace the elastic connector straps). I "drank the koolaid" and started with expensive blankets that had all the bells and whistles. I am now replacing them with Generos--because they are so durable and cost way less.

I bought this for my pensioner TB who has passed it on to my 12 year TB. It was big on first and fits #2 well. Either way it did not slip and has kept everyone dry in long rains or sleet. I hope it lasts. I haven't used it but a dozen nights and no one has rolled in it but it appears to be good. I was dissapointed to see teh leg straps are sewn on an not elastic so can't switch to others. Probably would have sent it back for this had the weather not have demanded immediate use.

Very nice turnout rug
Sturdy rug, roomy sizing, fits with room to spare on my big Oldenburg mare! High neck seems toasty on her, plenty of length. The hardware, buckles are all sturdy and easy to open and close. only thing I would change is to add shoulder gussets. Great blanket for the price.

great blanket
This blanket fits my 5 year old OTTB great. He's been wearing it for over a week now and there are no rub marks on him. He is an instigator in the pasture and there aren't any blemish on this blanket so far. I LOVE the high neck, no obnoxious rubbed mane on his withers! The only thing is that I wish the front closure had the easy snaps!

High quality & great price
I bought this blanket for my destructive mule who is turned out all day. It is very durable and I love the color. The high neck is great for days that I am not sure if I should use a medium weight or heavyweight turnout.

I quickly needed an economical winter blanket for a horse we just bought for my daughter. The horse was moving from a warmer climate, and we were too close to our winter to let her grow much hair coat, but not knowing how hard the horse would be on her blankets, I didn't want to spend a fortune either. I ordered this blanket on expedited shipping so we could buckle it on as the horse was unloaded out of the trailer. It fits her perfectly, is holding up well, and is keeping her warm! I've found the high necks to be a great benefit in our windy, chilly winters!

Very happy with this purchase
I was a bit worried that this would run large, as I have heard that some Weatherbeetas do. However, I took the chance and got a 75 for my mare who truly is a 75, and it fits great.
