Instructions for Use:
Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Adjust spray nozzle and saturate the affected area, flushing away any foreign debris. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus® Equine Wound and Skin Care Liquid or Antimicrobial Hydrogel at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, use in conjunction with Vetericyn Plus® Antimicrobial Hydrogel for proper protection and moisture balance during healing stages.

I’ve been using this product on a variety of cuts and scrapes. The best thing is it improves the wound almost instantly and is extremely well tolerated by my two horses. It is easy to use and the healing is much faster than other products I’ve used. It’s easy to use and I carry bottles in my tack room, truck and barn. I can’t imagine not having Vetericyn on hand at all times for handy wound care. Hands down best wound care product out there!

I have used Vetericyn Plus Wound and Skin Care for a few years and it is my "go to" product for wound and skin care on all of my 15 horses. It is a great product for uncomplicated, minor wounds and skin afflictions. I highly recommend it!!

Vetericyn works MIRACLES!
My 2 year old QH gelding tried to jump a fence back in mid April and got stuck over it early one morning. To my surprise there was only minor irritation, which I sprayed off with water and put Vetericyn on right away, but the next morning he was extremely swollen from his flanks to his legs, and on both sides of his flanks had these pretty serious wounds. I called the vet out that morning, figured he’d have to give him a bunch of medicine and it would take a while to heal - I was pretty freaked out!
When I told my veterinarian I put Vetericyn on the initial day he jumped the fence, he said “that’s great. Just keep using that until it heals. That’s all you need.” I was sure he would prescribe me a bunch of super medicated ointments and such, but he assured me Vetericyn would do the trick... He scraped off the proud flesh on both sides and told me to do that as well a few times during the duration of healing, gave him a shot of a mild antibiotic, and said to just rinse out the wounds with water after I finish working him each time, and to apply Vetericyn and swat for flies morning and night.
I was supposed to be taking this horse to the 2018 Clinton Anderson Academy, and I thought surely there was no way - he wouldn’t be able to heal being worked daily for almost 2 months. My vet said he was more than able to handle the program even with the wounds, that they didn’t cause him any pain, they just looked unpleasant - he gave him a clean bill of health, and said he was good to go. I did what he said, and he already started to heal a little bit before we left for the academy.
I was blown away to say the least with the results of using Vetericyn on my his wounds - I’ve used several of their products time and time again for my training horses that have gotten minor cuts, irritation, etc - but I never thought I could use it for something like this. Even with 7 weeks of intense daily training at the academy, the wounds got better and better everyday! By the end of the program, I tested on this horse and successfully graduated the class on him, his wounds were 70-80% healed. Now, there’s nothing more than a faint line on both sides of his flanks were the wounds once were.
I think as horse owners and trainers when our horses get hurt, we want to go above and beyond and give them every single thing we can to fix them as fast as possible. But I can say from this experience I know for a fact that using such a high quality product on the market like Vetericyn over several products at once is what allowed my gelding to heal so quickly. Less is definitely more when it comes to these type of things I've found - rinsing with water and applying Vetericyn twice daily is literally all it took.
Vetericyn is a product I swear by and use DAILY for all of my training horses, whether it’s just for a small cut, or something more serious - it’s something I never let myself run out of and have made sure it’s a staple for all of the boarders at the barn I train out of to have access to for their horses. It’s more than worth the investment for my horses.

Miracle worker
I have stood by vetericyn products for years! I 1st found them with Clinton Anderson and after trying this product I have found that it is extremely beneficial for my horses. It's amazing what this stuff will heal not only does it heal cuts and scrapes any type of bacteria or anything that goes into them gets eliminated but it also helps hair growth and helps it heal a lot faster. I highly recommend it

Excellent wound gel
My colt kicked the barn wall and cut the bulb of his heel, up thru the pastern and fetlock. The wound gel kept the skin soft and pliable, promoting healing. After two months of vetericyn and wrapping, my horse made a complete recovery .

Must have!
I volunteer at a horse rescue -- a sanctuary, in some cases temporary & others permanent. Vetericyn is a must have treatment for so many conditions we encounter. We keep it in our tack room, at our wash station, on our golf carts we use to go between pastures & paddocks, and you'll often find a bottle outside each barn stall ready for use. A safe & effective product!

Wouldn't have believed it!
My yearling was cornered by an older gelding and impaled himself on the only t-post on the farm. I readied myself for losing him. After rushing him to Iowa State University, and a long night of cleaning and suturing, he seemed to say he's not about to give up. The vets recommended daily cleaning with Vetericyn. I still shake my head when I think of those first few months. Now as a two year old, Topper is being started under saddle. Thank you all for your dedication to horses and ALL animals.

Have been using vetericyn for years, never with out it. Have it in the barn, horse trailer, and the house for the dogs and cats. First discovered it from ads on Clinton’s tv show. Had a horse tear a 2 I hole in her back leg down to the bone. Used vetericyn spray on it everyday no proud flesh and healed great, also had a horse cut her leg, had 5 stitches used the spray and there isn’t even a scar. I tell everyone about! Love it, best product ever!

Easy to use
We have this handy at all times, in the trailer when we are traveling, quick to spray on cuts and scrapes, which we all know horses do all the time. Also was great to have when windy, dry air was irritating one of the horses eyes recently, sprayed it in her eye and she was much better very quickly. Very good product, highly recommend.

Greatest stuff on the market
I bought this when my horse cut her self .. but after she healed up I still had a lot left so I now use it on my dogs all the time .. As soon as I have one of them with a sore or cut we clean it up and spray it with vetericyn for a couple days and that is it all healed up..
Love it wont buy anything else..

Absolute Best!
I’ve used Vetrycin since I purchased my horses several years ago. My gelding just recently had a serious cut, not deep enough for stiches but pretty nasty. On the third day of spraying vetrycin it is about 90% healed and scabbed over. This is not my first use but just happen to be recently. I have also used it on my rescues Labradors tail because he hair was falling out and it healed right up.

My duct tape for all boo boo’s
I absolutely love this stuff!! It’s a fix all for all booboo’s! I’ve used on my horses cuts of course, but also in her eyes, ears, fly bites and also in her hooves for thrush! This stuff is amazing! I’ve used it on my dogs ears and skin for their itches. Worked so good on them I had to try it on myself!! It got rid of my sinus infection, I had a tooth ache and rinsed with it and tooth ache gone!! All mine and my animals cuts and scrapes and/or infections always get Vetricyn before Dr is called. Haven’t needed one yet!! Thank you so very much for this amazing product!!

Chicken On the Brink of Death
We had a laying hen that was attacked thru our fence by one of our dogs, the resultant body wound was quite large and left the skin laying open down to the muscle of the chickens body in the area of her wing. We were going to put her down and then decided to put her in a small coop that we have and for about two weeks we sprayed Vetericyn on the wound twice a day. The chicken recovered fully and is now back to laying eggs. The Vetericyn saved her life and while we've used the Vetericyn products on our horses and dogs, this application was the most traumatic instance that we've used it in and the product just worked wonders.

Life Saver!
My mare, Smoke, got herself tangled in a barbed wire fence last September. It was the week of State Finals! I was distraught I had to take another horse. First we tried iodine and baking powder to heal Smoke's lacerations. It helped, but was not making the progress I was hoping for. We bought this product to see if we could get Smoke legged back up. Sure enough, within one month she was back on her feet and won me a buckle! I will always keep Vetericyn in my trailer now! You have no idea how many times others have had to borrow mine because they weren't prepared! I love this product and would recommend it to anyone!

Great for wounds
I have been using Vetericyn Plus Equine Wound and Skin Care for about 3 years. It is by far the best spray for scrapes and wounds that I have found. I had an older horse who always got hip sores from laying down. This would clear them up and prevent worsening of wound

Healing liquid
We are finishing our 1st bottle. We use it for our Boxer, she had constant infections in the creases around her eyes and nose. When we apply this faithfully it prevents it from escalating to an infection. We like how easy it is to apply with no worries about getting it in her eyes. Also has no fragrance!

Amazing product!
I love how this stuff heals everything and anything. I have used it as an eyewash in gunky eyes to large lacerations. No burn or sting and I swear everything heals 10 times faster.
