Instructions for Use:
Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Adjust spray nozzle and saturate the affected area, flushing away any foreign debris. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus® Equine Wound and Skin Care Liquid or Antimicrobial Hydrogel at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, use in conjunction with Vetericyn Plus® Antimicrobial Hydrogel for proper protection and moisture balance during healing stages.

We are extremely impressed with the quality of your product and have been using it several times per day. The wound we have been treating has been difficult because it occurred on an area that has scar tissue from an old wound. We saw a great improvement after three days of use and new skin is appearing after six days. We also use the spray daily as a disinfectant on all his legs after bathing them. Thank you for this great product!

have used this product since it came out. works well, even on sensitive skinned horses, use to clean a wound, and then again to cover the wound, have used on bug bites to clean before using an ointment for the bite.

have used this product since 2010, it treats most wounds, even in conjunction with other topical meds. use to clean or irrigate a wound or with bug bites, spray on before applying a topical ointment helps with the swelling of the bite

Great product
I keep Veterycin in my grooming box so that it is right there for any new scrapes or skin irritations that I notice while grooming. It has amazing healing properties and doesn't seem to attract dirt but actually protect from ongoing contamination!

Does the job in most cases
This is great to have on hand for your average kicks, scrapes, gouges etc. My mare's wounds heal faster and with less irritation to the surrounding skin after using Vetericyn. Cleans wounds very nicely but better when used with something to protect skin from dirt, hair and flies.

Cut - No Prob with Vetericyn
I got my horse out from a turnout and brushing him. Then I saw his cut while doing hooves ( his lower leg ). I just spray some on and I went for a ride. I check on it the next day and healed way faster than I thought. After 3-4 days it was gone. Thank you! P.S. I got the bigger one only from Cal-Ranch just to let you know - But same everything though. Plus great for 1st Aid Kit. It is just the price that kicks you.

Great for my horses and dogs!!!
I bought this for my horses but then saw Dr. Pol on RFD-TV and he said it was good for dogs with dry skin issues. I've been using it on my Peanut and it's working!!!!

Really worked
My paint horse has 4 white legs and had terrible scratches on his back heels this winter. I had tried several remedies, some recommended by my vet, but they never completely went away.
A barn friend said her vet recommended Vetericyn. It worked!
I would warn people to be careful because it must sting and my horse would kick out.
I really like the product.

From Death's Door To A Second Chance
T-Rex, my rooster had nutritional deficiencies because of his feed and along with that came an infection causing his leg to become swollen. My husband was ready to have him euthanized because he was in bad shape, but I didnt give up hope! I decided to try Vetericyn on his leg. After his Epsom Salt soaks, I spray his leg and the swelling has continued to go down.

Because my horse is a.... horse. :-/
I have a young gelding who plays hard and doesn't watch where he puts his legs. He comes in with scratches, tooth marks, and other various, undeterminable wounds. This is great for keeping his wounds clean and healing properly.

Vetericyn Post Surgery - Equine
Young ISH who failed to drop near testicle by normal time for castration (autumn of yearling year) so was left for another year as entire to see might the testicle drop naturally. When it again failed to drop surgery was undertaken. A significant incision, circa 25cm, was made along the flank whorl line and the testicle (which was located next to the kidney) was removed through the surgical wound. Then sutured and washed once a day with water and treated twice a day with Vetericyn + Wound & Care Liquid. Before and after pictures above, no proud flesh, no secondary infections, very nice healing despite a need to re sutured once due to animals over exuberance (he burst his stitches which delayed the healing time).

Best wound spray ever!
Bought this after horse injured herself but we were not sure when she did this so we could not close it up. I only used vetericyn 2-3 times a day. This wound closed up after about 4 weeks. No excess granulation either.

Very Useful!
When I went to a rodeo in Cloverdale, IN my horse cut her forehead open in our trailer. It had to be stitched up and she had to be on medicine. The vetericyn really helped to keep the wound from getting infected and helped it heal quickly.

Where do these reviews come from.....
This product does not work....and it is very expensive. I guess the Vetericyn people are out of CA - maybe that is why the recent reviews are so good.
I would not recommend this product to anyone - its label says Bleach Water. I could mix this formula up for pennies !

Gentle, healing, non-stinging
Vetericyn is about the only topical that can be sprayed (almost?) anywhere on a horse that needs healing support. My thin-skinned gelding had a nasty biting insect reaction on his belly/sheath area- worked great.

Amazing product!
I keep this on hand all the time for my horses and chickens. I volunteer at a shelter that used this product on a horse with a nasty nasty gash on his haunch that we couldn't keep stitches in. Not only did Vetericyn heal him completely, but he had almost no scar at all!

Works fast on helping to heal wounds.
I have used this product since 2012 and am very pleased with the results. Pets are like kids, they get hurt and I don't need to go to the Vet every time this happens especially with cats, you know, they get into scuffles and then there is bad spot. My one cat had a bad cut on his face near his ear. I sprayed the wound and infection treatment on it and within a few days it was healing. I used it on my dogs too if they get hot spots or even get bitten by spiders. I share this with my neighbors and they swear by it too. Can't go wrong.

Helped Heal my Horse's Legs
I struggled to get bug bite wounds to heal on my Arabian gelding's legs. Applying vetericyn and wrapping with quilts and polos around the clock helped his legs heal and hair to regrow within a few weeks!
