Vetericyn® Hoof Care is designed to help manage thrush, white line, and seedy toe in hooves. It purges & removes pathogens that cause hoof disease. Hoof Care also helps alleviate the buildup of harmful microorganisms on hooves that can cause odor and lameness. This unique formula effectively repairs hooves by penetrating deep into hoof layers and crevices to purge and remove pathogens that cause hoof deterioration and breakdown and promote the growth of healthy tissue.
Vetericyn® Hoof Care was developed to include a bright blue marking dye to help visually see coverage on the hoof during application and also to know when a reapplication is needed. Check your horses’ hoof(s) daily and clean with hoof pick, looking for the Hoof Care blue dye. If the stain has dissipated, reapply as necessary until condition no longer exists.

Instructions for Use:
Clean the hoof thoroughly with hoof pick to remove all dirt, debris, and loosen hoof material. Adjust spray nozzle on bottle. Spray the entire hoof sole and soak the frog area with Vetericyn Mobility Hoof Care. After application, let horse stand on dry ground for 5 minutes. Depending on the severity of hoof condition, additional sprays can be applied daily or as needed. For maximum results, avoid prolonged wet environments or standing water until the condition is no longer present. A hoof knife can also be used to clean the frog and remove frog tissue as necessary. Consult with your farrier.

Great product with a MUCH better applicator!
I'm so glad they changed the applicator on this! It used to be a spray bottle but now it has the perfect tiny tip to squeeze out of. The spray got the blue product everywhere, all over my hands, arms, and the spray nozzle leaked. But with the precision tip, I can get it right in the frog where I need it and nowhere else. Wipe off the tip when you're done and it stays clean. I liked this product but I wasn't going to repurchase because of the spray top, I was so happy when I saw they changed the applicator and I repurchased immediately!

Great product, but miss the spray nozzle.
My farrier recommended this product for my horse that had some white-line issues. Since using this, his feet have been much healthier! I've been using it for about a year now, and he has lost many fewer shoes than he used to, and overall his feet just look so much better. My farrier has been very happy!
My main complaint is that the spray applicator was SO MUCH better than the squeeze applicator. It is a messy blue product, the spray made it easier to get the right amount in the right place, the squeeze applicator is a lot harder to control.

Vetericyn Hoof Care
I have to say I cannot be the only person that feels this way. I read reviews on FB on Chewy, I talk to other horse owners about Vetericyn Hoof Care & the same exact comments- this product works! Firm believers this is a very very good product! It’s so messy! In fact it’s way too messy. The BLUE DYE is just that- a BLUE messy DYE that stains everything so bad that people are refusing to use it again. Stables have banned it because of how terribly messy the Blue Dye is. The Blue Dye really has nothing to do with the products active ingredient however what it does it do is make a mess on the horse, our hands even with gloves, concrete and mats along with storage containers. I hope you take this as a valid complaint against using the BLUE DYE and remove it from the product. Look at the reviews: the Blue Dye - there are posts that the blue dye is gone within a few hours of application to the hoof so some not all feel that since that happens the product doesn’t work which is not the case- blue dye has no value to the product. The product works but I know 100 percent fact that people are not going to purchase the product no matter how good it is because it’s so messy from the blue dye.
Thank you reading, but it doesn’t do any good to read & do nothing about it. I gave the over all a 2 rate because of the blue dye

Excellent product
I've been using it for about a year now. Easy to apply, does the best job so far as my horse. Got rid of thrush, and getting rid of the white line issues that have persisted since he came into my hands. I tell people about your product(s) all the time.

interesting product
I sprayed this onto a hoof frog that was having deep sulcus thrush. The next day the area had appeared to dry up and be open allowing the frog to start to dry out. It is basically a bleach and my horse didn't really like me putting it onto her feet. I only used it once because her reaction showed dislike for the spray. But, it was effective

Hooves dryer the next day
I recently purchased this product after learning how easy it is to apply. My boy white line and an abscess brewing in one hoof. After one application I noticed how easy his hooves were to clean, as if the product was creating a barrier to protect his hooves.

Settling-in on a Favorite
I’ve been a farrier for over 20 years and find it imperative that I have a treatment product for thrush on hand and potentially available for every hoof. I have tried many of the products on the market as well as the homemade concoctions but currently have settled into a preference for Vetericyn Hoof Care. I like how it is thin enough to actually soak into the tissue and the dye is a nice indicator. I like the spray application method with a quality sprayer and durable bottle that’s a handy, compact size. This product works well! A hose clamp/washer on the bottle allows me to stick it to the magnet on my hoof stand and keep it off the floor, safe from stepping horses.

Easy to use, but easy to turn yourself blue too
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was almost "too easy" to use that I ended up getting my hands blue. Normally I do use gloves when handling thrush/blue dye products, but I was also trying to take a picture so sadly had skin exposed. It did cover my horse's hoof very nicely and will be great to use during high thrush season (once we get back to wet ground).
