A Worthwhile Shampoo to Keep in Your Grooming Kit!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used many shampoos and cleaning products over the years of having horses but this product stood out above the rest. First off Vetericyn FoamCare Equine Medicated Shampoo comes out as a foam instead of a liquid spray. This was great because I could spray it on where I wanted it and it wouldn't run right off. It stays where you spray it. Second it really helped to prevent sweat itching and irritation after a ride. I would spray this on the saddle and girth area and lather it in and rinse. It seemed to work better at preventing this than other products I've used. I've already been recommending this product to my friends at the stable! Even having received this product free to review, it's a great product that I will definitely buy again.

Product is something you'll want to always have on hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This medicated shampoo works wonders on animals with sensitive skin. Both my mare and dog have sensitive skin and allergy issues and this is the only shampoo that works. We also adored a 13 year old dog who's skin was in horrible condition. We tried so many things but nothing seemed to help him. A few times of bathing him with this shampoo and we already seen a huge difference. His hat is also starting to grow back in. So I definitely recommend this product. I will always make sure to have some on hand.

So easy and quick results!

My one mare developed rain rot so I used Vetericyn on her and after a couple weeks you could hardly tell she had it. I've already told some of my equine friends about this product.

The hoof care was easy to where applied due to the color so there is no guessing. It helped my horse with with a mild case of thrush.
The shampoo was nice, it helped a friend's horse with an irritated skin area to clear up nicely after only 3 washes. The only thing I would like is for the shampoo to work in any temperature of water, not just warm because warm water.

Helps stop itching

This shampoo has helped reduced his scratching. We will continue to use this shampoo and hopefully it will continue to reduce his itching.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TN Walker and rocky mountain saddle horse have both been itching like crazy on our feed ring, leaving a patch of missing mane on each! It's been unseasonally warm here in TN so we decided to try this out and see if it gave them any relief. They loved the extra baths they don't normally get in the winter, and it definitely helped! Great foamy lather, no crazy medicated scent left, and their coats felt very soft. After about 3 uses over 3 weeks, we saw hair regrowth and they had stopped itching. The weather is extremely dry still, so I'm definitely contributing their lack of itching to the shampoo. Overall I would definitely recommend, as I enjoy all Vetericyn products!

Great for cannon crud!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My horse has pretty severe cannon keratosis cause by an over production of oils on her hind legs. I have to wash her legs once per week to keep the build up down and keep her comfortable. I have a lot of issues with it coming back quickly, but it stayed away with the Vetericyn Medicated Shampoo! Instead of having to scrub and scrub I only had to do one good wash and rinse. When I went to wash them again the following week there was hardly any build-up! I have continued to use this product each time and it actually seems to be improving the condition as well as the thickened skin underneath!

It works!

I've tried mant Products to stop my horse from my rubbing from itching and this is the only product that has reduced the problem. Horse will occasionally rub a bit, but nothing like before. I have used it twice and will continue to use it throughout the spring & summer when itching reaches its peak. Container still feels heavy as if I haven't used any, so it should last for some time. Comes out foaming so all you have to do is work it into the wet coat & rinse; very easy to use.
