Instructions for Use:
Can be used on horses, ponies and foals and dogs (over 12 weeks of age). Use as a premise spray to keep pests away from outdoor areas like doorways, trash cans, stalls, decks and patios. Use a towel when applying to face area to avoid direct contact with eyes.

Used this for years and love it
I've used alot of fly sprays over the years and keep going back to this one. We have terrible flies and gnats here so a good repellent is essential. I've noticed it works better than the sprays on other horses.

All-Around Great Product
It isn't oily, each bottle lasts quite a while, the smell isn't overpowering, and it offers great protection from pesky insects. My horse currently lives in a wooded lot and after I spray EX on her the flies don't bother her near as much as they would be otherwise. She just seems so much more comfortable.

Leaves coat slippery and greasy
I can't say this spray works any better or worse than others I've used. My horse still stomps her feet, swishes her tail, twitches, and shakes her head. What I definitely do NOT like about it is the added lanolin/skin conditioner. It leaves the coat with a show sheen feel in places, very slippery, and greasy in others, with a residue that collects dust on the coat. Not a good feel at all

It Works!!!!!
I went trail riding two weeks ago with a couple of buddies and it's very hot and humid in Virginia. The other two horses were "absolutely miserable", the Flies were all over them, they kept bucking or turning around to swat at them... My horse was calm and never flinched the whole ride (about 2.5 hrs..), one of my friends said "Why is your boy Not being bothered by flies & ours are being Eating Alive????" I told them that I use Ultra Shield .... They Both Orded it the next day!!! We actually laughed that "Wow, we just made a Commercial"!!!!!

Effective and enhances the haircoat
Of all the fly sprays I have tried over the years, this is by far my favorite. I have always owned TBs or TB crosses with sensitive skin. Oil based sprays I tried previously caused welts and/or hair loss. Water based sprays just didn't work. UltraShield EX provides the perfect combination of an effective fly spray along with coat conditioners and sunscreens that leave my horses' coats soft and shiny with no negative side effects. I usually apply it daily to maintain the highest level of protection, but it does seem to repel flies for 2-3 days in a row. After applying UltraShield EX, my horses stand relaxed in the field while their pasture-mates are still being attacked by flies. I would definitely recommend this product!

Works well
I normally don't purchase Ultrashield EX fly spray but smartpak had a great sale so I thought I would try it. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and it has done a great job of keeping the little black flies from landing all over my horse. One plus is the smell isn't offensive like some repellents, and it has staying power.

Good fly spray
I like this fly spray a lot. It works well and doesn't irritate any of my 4 horses. Only thing I didn't like was since the day I received it the nosel did not work properly and a lot leaked out. Overall good product!

Best Fly Spray Ever!
I find the UltraShield EX Fly Spray to be the most effective fly, mosquito, gnat & tick killer & repellent. It also kills lots of other unwanted insects. I use this spray on my horses and also as a premise spray at the barn and my home. Gets rid of any invading insect or arachnid, including ants & cockroaches! Also safe for dogs.

Always works, kills bugs on contact!
I have used Absorbine UltraShield for several years. Ocasionally I have tried other fly sprays but have always been disappointed in their ability to actually repel and/or kill flies. UltraShield is safe enough to use on a horse's tender/sensitive skin areas such as the face and between their legs. Some other sprays I have used caused this tender skin to peel.
I am an Absorbine UltrsShield fan forever, it kills on contact and repels flies, mosquitos, gnats and other pesky bugs.
