Not for use on horses intended for human consumption. Shake well before using. To protect horses from Horse Flies, House Flies, Stable Flies, Face Flies, Horn Flies, Deer Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Lice, Ticks, and Deer Ticks that may transmit Lyme Disease: thoroughly brush the horse’s coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until the coat is completely dry before applying TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT. TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT’S unique water-resistant formula contains a special conditioner that binds to the hair shaft so it keeps working even in moist conditions or when the horse sweats.
TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT may be applied either as a spray or as a wipe. For horse’s face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse’s entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to ensure adequate coverage. Avoid getting spray into horse’s eyes, nose or mouth.
Application should be liberal for best results. Reapply every 5 to 7 days under normal conditions for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 10 to 14 days as needed. Also, reapply each time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Fly Spray
I purchased a bottle of this to try to venture from my usual choices. Sadly it just didn't seem to hold up at my barn. After only 5 or so minutes after spraying, the flies were back and didn't care one bit. The flies at my barn are worse than at others, so if there aren't a ton of flies at your barn this spray may help in making them think twice, it just didn't work for my horse.

Have used solely for 7 years
Doesn't last 14 days but it's still the best I've found. Love that it helps with ticks. My guys still get a tick or two BUT i know it makes a significant difference. Has a pleasant smell. Do not order easy pour gallon! Leaks terribly & two shipments never even made it through shipping. Smart pak took care of it both times! Amazing customer service!!!!

Tri Tech 14 really works!
I ran out of Tri Tech and began using another product from the same company that I had on hand. I sprayed the entire horses bodies with it and in just a couple hours, they were back to swatting flies again. When I use Tri Tech14, I spray just legs and a light mist over their backs and the horses are comfortable for the rest of the day. I will never run out of Tri Tech 14 again!

Best Fly Spray Around
I have been using Tri-Tech fly spray for 8 years now. I've tried every brand out there and this works the best for flys/gnats. I have a horse that is sensitive so I buy the gallon and mix half and half with water, still keeps the bugs at bay. In the evenings I use it along with Mosquito Halt before turning out.

Good for horses with sensitive skin
I have used Tri Tec 14 for several years. It does a good job on fly control but the biggest reason I use it is because I have one horse with very sensitive skin that gets irritation from a number of other brands. Tri Tec 14 is one of the few regular fly sprays that doesn't cause his skin to peel.

Used for Years...
I really like this fly spray and have used it for years now. I buy in packs of 6 and have them auto shipped. However, with ANY fly spray I am sincerely disappointed that scientists or product teams for the brand can't figure out how to repel biting flies by now. We were assaulted and mauled by them this year, even with fly sheets on. Human Off repellant doesn't work either. I have gotten secondary skin infections from the bites, I have been bitten so bad this year. I have tried everything including adding Skin So Soft and those very pricy belly balms... Nothing works!

Great fly spray
Keeps my horses free of flies for a couple hours (no topical keeps them free of flies all day that I have seen), and significantly reduces flies all day. If I use daily for 3 or 4 days, I can skip a couple days and still have decent fly control. Also is great for tick control. Costs a little more than some sprays but is worth it for me to see my horses more comfortable. I do use other fly control as well- fly predator's.

Costs less in the long run and actually works
I used to always use emulsifiable fly sprays to see money, and because they worked adequately. But I had to re-apply quite often, at least twice a day (24 hr turn out). With Tri-Tec, I'm using less each time I spray, it keeps the majority of the flies and mosquitoes away, and because I use less, I'm seeing very little skin peeling, though there is a lot of black sticky build-up that only comes off when they get bathed.

I have been searching for a fly spray product that would last more then an hour. My donkey suffers terribly in the summer. I have tried nearly every product I could find. All make outrageous claims as to their effectiveness. Tri-Tec 14 has been a lifesaver. I only apply it 2x weekly. I am extremely happy with this product and will definitely purchase it again.
