Tredstep da Vinci Field Boot is rated 4.4444 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful boots These are gorgeous boots. I can't believe I got them in my size on super sale. I'm in between a slim and regular calf, but ordered the regular. The are a bit big in the calf but they are nicely structured so you can't tell and don't look baggy. Breaking them in was rough. Stock up on the bandaids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them I couldn't resist the sale on these boots and had been interested in them for a while. They are just as beautiful in person! I am between xs and small calf so I went to small just in case. I have a little extra room but I think it will be ok. The toe width was a bit narrow but after wearing them for a day they felt much better. The leather is soft and grippy. Only worn a short while so far and plan on only using to show so I don't know how they will hold up yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well-made boot! But... I got these boots on super sale. I like them, I think they're stylish and well made. Here's my short review as to why I'd maybe like to sell them. First, the foot fits fine, though I'm glad I ordered a half a size up. They fit perfectly in the foot and ankle, slightly tight around the midpoint of my calf, but then are too big up top. I can easily fit my hand in the top outside portion of them. The zipper works fantastic, but sticks out in the back, which is kind of weird. They seem sturdy and well-made, but they don't fit ME.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boot I got these on sale for about half their list price. They are the first "real" tall boots I have owned. I was a little concerned at first because the calf was VERY snug (I ordered a slim, because that's what my leg measured), but after wearing them regularly it stretched out to a perfect fit. I did get some bad blisters, but only on one foot so I think that's more because of the way my foot is and moves due to an old injury. The leather is absolutely beautiful and they are so flexible in the ankle. They feel amazing to ride in; they took absolutely no time to break in for riding (walking was a bit different!). I've been wearing them about a month so far, so I can't attest to their long-term durability. I would definitely recommend them. I will say, I ordered a 37, which the size chart said was equivalent to a women's 6.5/7; I'd say they are more of a 7 because I wear a 6/6.5 and they are a tad bigger than I'd like. Not complaining since I got a great deal on them :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot. I had the Donatellos and love them for everyday wear. I got these on a whim at a great price. They have a great range of fit and run pretty true to size. I also get a bit of a gap at the top and the ankle is a bit looser than I would like. But they are easy to wear out of the box, and the leather feels nice. As far as paying full price, Id probably stick to the donatellos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them but fit a little funny. I really love these boots, really nice quality and quite comfy from the get go, but they fit weird. They are a perfect fit besides the very top is loose, i can stick my hand in there. so i decided instead of returning them i will just take them somewhere to be fixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Boots -- Overpriced I have owned these boots for nearly a solid year now. They have been worn quite a bit--at least 4-5x a week during the summer, though not nearly as often during the fall. These boots are good quality and are still in good condition, though I have been adamant about cleaning them at least once a week. The leather is quite fragile and I don't think they'd hold up to being worn every day by a trainer. The reason I bought these over the Donatellos was because the Donatellos did not come in Tall. Do I think it was worth the extra $180? Not really. Not even close. They compete with my old Challenge IIs for quality, which cost nearly $100 less. One thing I will say about these is that they have a superb footbed. It's far more comfortable than the Donatellos and I can literally walk in these for six hours straight without any pain. However, the leather quality and construction of everything else appears on par with the cheaper boots, and you can always size up and buy Doctor Scholls if you want a nicer footbed.Do I regret buying these? No, Ariat has gone way downhill in recent years and I get compliments on these boots constantly. They are comfortable, relatively durable and get the job done. The flex in the ankle meant absolutely NO break-in time for me which was a first in any tall boot I've ever owned. I think it's a solid choice for a boot and definitely one of the best boots sub $400.If you like them, and they fit, go for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Boots Gorgeous leather, quality construction, and custom fit at a reasonable price! Love them! I was TIRED of getting boots that were so baggy around the ankle, and these contour beautifully. I only gave them a 4-star rating as I have not ridden in them yet to attest to their durability, but I will certainly add info, and update once I do.
