Perfect, lightweight, and adjustable.
I didn’t want to ride in the 60lb western saddle but needed more than the bareback pad to bring my senior thoroughbred back into work. This is the best of both worlds. Light enough to throw and go, shaped and sturdy enough not to collapse under you. It does require a breastplate to keep it forward and I found a good tacky pad with a half pad over the top of that underneath the saddle is perfect to maintain even pressure and a nice sweat pattern. There is good spine clearance, it doesn’t press down over his shark fin withers, and he moves out comfortably with a nice free shoulder. There are adjustable parts to make it more of a custom fit. I don’t like the stirrup leathers or irons and will switch them for a betabiothane set I already own and my current irons. Overall a good set up for the money and a comfy horse. Can’t ask for more than that.

Perfect fit!
My daughter wanted a lighter weight saddle and this was perfect. Fit her quarter horse perfectly. She was very comfortable with sitting in the saddle.

Super lightweight!
I ride a perch cross mare who is rather “large” this fits her so well, and has an extremely comfortable seat to be in.

Strange "hollow" fit
I got this for my older jumper mare who has had two babies and has a short back. I thought this saddle might be a nice change a couple of days a week, just for hacking and trails. It unfortunately did not fit her at all--huge gaping space under the saddle even when it was cinched on and it just teeterd around on her back. To be fair, this saddle would probably be great on a younger horse with a good topline. It seemed like a quality product and had a comfortable seat.

I bought this for a horse with a very round shape after being advised by a saddle fitter that he required either a treeless or a hoop-tree saddle. This saddle doesn't seem to make his back uncomfortable, but girth needs to be so tightly adjusted that it must hurt him. Even then, it still slips when mounting from the top step of a VERY tall mounting block. It requires a breastplate to stay in place going uphill, and I dismount and walk him home when we're descending the back hill or it ends up on his withers. The stirrup adjustment is very bulky, and since I'm short, the fastening device goes in a hole that hits my shin. Had to change out the leathers to the ones off my old endurance saddle. Probably the right value for the money, but doesn't work well for either this horse or me.
