Great reins at a great price!
I bought these reins a few weeks ago and am so glad that I found them on Smartpak. The price made them a great value and they arrived quickly! Thanks again, Smartpak.

Melted after only a year
These worked great until they melted. Always stored in a temperature controlled tack room. Works great if you don't mind buying new every year.

Disappointed
Bought two sets but returned due to rubber grip being improperly placed. It starts too far from the buckle. Otherwise beautifully made and well priced. What a shame.

I was looking for thick, ,fairly stiff rubber reins. Too many are thin and soft, and this thick and grippy type is exactly what I need for my tendonitis in one hand. They are easy to hold onto when my hand is at its worst and can't close all the way. Leather and quality are nice, especially for such a reasonable price.

Nice leather
I returned the reins because the rubber was not close enough to the buckle, where you'd hold the reins

Very rubbery!
My first intro to rubber reins. They don't slip which can be both good and bad. May have to use leather in the dressage ring (letting out and picking back up) but I think once I get used to them will be perfect for stadium and XC. I was told to get Tory because it doesn't tend to melt in our Louisiana heat.
